Hello, I have been trying to find a live chat feature to get assistance from the eBay team, but I couldn't locate it. There is a seller with the username "Outdoor Value" on eBay. I purchased garden decking lights from them, but the product didn't match the description in the ad. I initiated a return, the seller accepted it, and I sent the item back to their address using Royal Mail. However, it has been a while, and the seller is claiming they never received the product, despite me having proof of delivery with online tracking showing it was delivered. I am seeking eBay's intervention to contact me at my number [redacted]3 and assist me in obtaining my refund, please.

I made purchases on ebay.fr from the vendor MissCata and paid by cheque. Unfortunately, the embroidery threads I ordered never arrived, and when I contacted the vendor for a refund or replacement, I was met with refusal and accusations of dishonesty. The vendor declined responsibility for lost items and suggested that I had received them and simply did not want to pay. Despite the low cost of the items, I am disturbed by the false accusations and the lack of recourse through Ebay's refund system for cheque payments. I believe Ebay should consider transitioning to Paypal and credit card payments exclusively to protect buyers from such instances. The inability to leave negative feedback at this point adds to the frustration of the situation, leaving me disappointed with the experience.

I purchased an item and requested a cancellation due to a misunderstanding with the seller. The seller mentioned he refunded £38 on 20th August, but I have yet to receive it. He claims he processed the refund and mentioned that it might take up to a month for card payments. I received a separate email from someone with poor English claiming the refund was not issued. Additionally, an email from eBay concerning possible unauthorized account use has left me confused. Regardless of these issues, I am still waiting for my refund to reflect in my account.

eBay has placed a 21-day hold on the funds from my recent sale, causing frustration. This is the second time this has happened to me. I used to sell under the name George jones67 and had over [redacted] successful sales before taking a break. I have a pay credit line of over $[redacted], which I built up by selling more than just 28 items. I am now selling under the name Harwood39. I am considering selling my items elsewhere as I no longer have the patience to wait for these delays. Thank you.

I have encountered a concerning situation where three different users, all with the same shipping address, have placed orders using my merchandise. Initially, the first order was for $35 for two products, which seemed normal. However, the following order consisted of all the remaining inventory, totaling 13 items for $[redacted], all processed through PayPal. The buyer attempted to steer me away from completing the transaction via eBay, which raised red flags for me. I suspect some undisclosed arrangement was made with eBay that I am unaware of, leaving me worried about potential risks in our dealings. Furthermore, I have noticed suspicious activities on my phone, suggesting it might be compromised. The unauthorized access and alterations to my device have hindered me from seeking help efficiently, making it a frustrating experience. I plan to seek guidance from my brother-in-law, who is a police officer, to address this intrusion promptly.

Dear team, I am reaching out for assistance regarding an issue I am facing with a recent purchase. A few weeks ago, I bought a Casio CMD-40D Rare Wrist Remote Control & Calculator Steel Digital Watch (item number: [redacted]47). After tracking my order (CY[redacted]89AU), I have finally received the watch today. However, I am disappointed to report that the item I received does not match the description provided by the seller. Despite being advertised as "New with tags," the watch I received is clearly used, showing visible scratches and lacking any tags. I have requested a full refund from the seller due to this discrepancy. Initially, the seller was uncooperative, but after insisting that the item did not match its description, they agreed to refund me once the watch is returned to their location in Sydney, Australia. I am currently based in Dubai, UAE, and I am unsure about who is responsible for covering the return shipping costs and any customs charges that I incurred upon receiving the item. I would appreciate a prompt response to clarify this matter. Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue. Sincerely, Amer Alyo

I am reaching out about a seller who seems reluctant to provide a refund. I ordered 9 pieces of center cap wheels from seller alading1986 on May 15th, and the items have not arrived by the expected date. Despite my attempts to request a refund around 4-5 times, the seller continues to respond with the same generic message claiming that a refund has been issued. It is now almost September, and after contacting customer service, I was advised to open a case. If the seller fails to respond or refund by August 23rd, eBay would intervene. Recently, I received an email from eBay mentioning that "The seller offered another solution," but it was the same pre-written message. I believe I have been patient enough with this seller. What steps should I take next?

In January of this year, I created a personal eBay account which I later converted into a business account. I found success with increased item listings and sales, but due to below-standard performance, my account was restricted without prior notice. Health issues prevented me from actively managing my business account, and I wish eBay had automatically reverted it to a personal account instead of repeatedly restricting my listings. While I understand the importance of maintaining account standards, a more proactive approach from eBay, such as notifying me before restrictions, or offering to switch to a personal account during difficult times, would have been appreciated. It might benefit eBay to provide such options for struggling business accounts to prevent unnecessary disruptions. I feel that better communication and support from eBay could have made a difference in my situation. Moving forward, I am unsure whether to continue with a personal account or delete my account entirely. I believe eBay should consider more flexible approaches to account management for the benefit of its users. Sincerely, Robyn T.

I have been an eBay customer since [redacted]. In the past year, I have encountered more issues than in the previous 15 years combined. Today, I had to contact eBay twice regarding items I believed were from the U.S., but later discovered they were actually from China and Hong Kong, not California as stated in the listings. One item, priced at $[redacted].00, was from a seller in Hong Kong. It is essential for eBay to accurately display the origin of the sellers to prevent American consumers from unknowingly purchasing items from overseas. I urge eBay to enforce the mandatory disclosure of the manufacturer's origin on all new listings to maintain the platform's reputation as a safe and reliable place for shopping. eBay has always been my go-to for easy and secure purchases, and it is vital to prevent sellers from deceiving consumers to preserve its credibility.

I purchased the item approximately 4 months ago, but upon receiving it, I discovered numerous scratches on the item. I promptly notified the seller of this issue, requesting to return the item for a full refund. The seller informed me that they would be traveling to Korea in June and requested me to send the item directly to their hotel during their stay in Korea instead of sending it back to India. I patiently waited for the seller to contact me during their time in Korea, but I did not receive any messages. After reaching out via email, the seller explained they were facing difficulties logging into eBay, preventing them from communicating. Despite my willingness to return the damaged item, the seller has been unresponsive to my inquiries regarding refunding the purchase price and covering the return shipping costs. I am disappointed by the lack of communication and feel like I am being deceived in this situation.

Hello team, I recently encountered a peculiar situation with eBay and could use some assistance. On 08/18/18 at 00:29, I placed an order for a Bosch BT150, and by 00:41 the same day, I requested to cancel my order. Shortly after, at 00:50, I received confirmation of the cancellation. However, on 08/18/18 at 20:00, to my surprise, the order was shipped. Subsequently, on 08/21/18, the seller requested payment, to which I explained that I had already canceled. Despite my efforts, on 08/26/18, the product was still sent. Throughout this period, I reiterated my desire to cancel the order, but the seller claimed the product had been dispatched. It later came to light that the cancellation was from one seller and the order was from a different one. Today, I received two messages - one stating the product had arrived at the local post office, and the other confirming the cancellation from the correct seller. I have also confirmed the payment on my credit card statement. This experience has left me at a loss, as it's the first time I've encountered an issue like this on eBay.

Subject: Request for Reinstatement of eBay Account retro-vintage2016 I am writing to address an issue with my eBay account retro-vintage2016, registered under the name Victoria Rose, which has been unexpectedly restricted. I am very disappointed with the assistance received from eBay customer service as they were unhelpful and somewhat rude during my attempts to resolve this matter over two phone calls. I have been a loyal eBay user for many years and had plans to sell items to save for a mortgage, along with potentially starting a business with my partner. Despite my best efforts to maintain a positive selling record, my account fell below standards recently. I took action by listing 30 items to improve my seller performance, only to have my account restricted and my listings removed. This setback is disheartening, especially after investing time and effort over the bank holiday weekend to prepare items for sale. While I acknowledge a few previous cases raised against me have been successfully resolved, I am puzzled by the drastic measure taken by eBay to restrict both my accounts, including one with a high selling limit and excellent performance. I kindly request eBay to review and reinstate my account retro-vintage2016 so I can continue selling and demonstrate my commitment to upholding selling standards. I hope for a prompt and favorable resolution to this matter and look forward to your response via email to maintain a record of our communication. Sincerely, Victoria Smith

On August 24th, I purchased a Full Flashed Verizon MiFi Jetpack Hotspot with Prepaid Unlimited 3G Data for $5 a month (#[redacted]76). During the order, I updated my address to the new one, indicating it as both the shipping address and default address. However, the order confirmation reflected my old address instead. When attempting to amend the address, clicking on it did not work, leaving me unable to make any changes. Despite my efforts to contact eBay, I struggled to reach a person for assistance. I managed to contact the seller, but the item was already shipped before they could see my message. The item has a subscription payment due by September 1st, detailed inside the package. Due to being unable to access my previous address for about three weeks, I urgently require assistance. Thank you, JulieCasil.

I am extremely frustrated with my order: [redacted]72. Less than an hour after purchasing it late in the evening on August 13th, I received a message that the product had been shipped. How can that happen so late at night? I have contacted the seller, monababa76, several times. They are supposedly based in India, yet somehow shipped the camera from Canada. Even though I know I have until this Thursday for it to arrive before I can start the process, it is clear this was a fraudulent sale. The seller has repeatedly refused to provide shipping or tracking information, making me believe I will never receive the camera. I would like to initiate getting my money back promptly to avoid having to contact the credit card company.

I purchased an item at an incredibly low price, my order was confirmed, but then eBay flagged it as a potential issue. Despite having evidence of my purchase, the terms of the contract I agreed to are not being upheld. When I raised a case, eBay quickly offered a refund, which I am not satisfied with. I believe in taking responsibility for commitments. I want someone to be accountable for this situation. My details are: Name: R. G. Ebay Username: arkaroake Item: Sunex [redacted] Seller: mkernop Item Number: [redacted]57 Price: $15.71 To resolve this, I suggest charging $15.71 to my PayPal and delivering the Sunex [redacted] socket set. Please investigate and address this matter. Thank you. Best, Robert Graham

I am facing issues with eBay holding funds in my PayPal account, impacting my ability to buy postage for customer orders. This situation is hindering me from improving my seller rating and satisfying customers as I am being charged fees every three days. I need the funds released promptly to continue my business smoothly.

I recently purchased the 'BTS Summer Package [redacted]' from the seller hi_swan. The item was described as 'Brand New & Factory Sealed', but unfortunately, my package did not include the box which should have come with it. After contacting the seller, they informed me that they didn't request the box from the factory but did not mention this in the listing. I have been in communication with the seller, requesting the box to complete the package as described, but they claim not to have it since they informed the factory not to include it. I believe the box is essential as part of the complete package that I paid for, and its absence affects the item's value.

On June 3, I bought two unique cast bronze walking cane heads, and I added another item later on. Subsequently, on June 9, I bought another similar item. Regrettably, I have not received any of these items. Ebay refunded me for the earliest purchase, although all the items have now vanished from my purchase history. Therefore, I am unable to provide the item numbers. Oddly enough, in August, I purchased a duplicate of one of the items at a higher price, and it arrived on time. I corresponded with one seller in China who promised the first item would arrive by Aug 14. However, the sellers are refusing to send the items, which are now listed at higher prices than my original purchases. They are misleading me until I give in and accept a refund. As it seems implausible that I will ever receive the items, I request a refund for the remaining three. This situation has arisen previously and appears to be a common strategy employed by certain Chinese sellers. Is there any method to compel sellers to fulfill their obligations? If you require further details about the items, please advise how I can access purchases older than 60 days. Thank you - K.

Hello, I'm having an issue with a product I purchased from the seller on eBay. I made the payment on August 20, [redacted], but the status still shows as "payment pending." Despite multiple attempts, I haven't received any response from the seller. I'm unsure how to proceed. Should I request a cancellation or report the seller for failure to ship the order? If you have any advice on how to resolve this problem, please share. Thank you, Amila M.

I recently purchased a product for $51.34, including shipping, but it does not match the description provided. The listing stated a diameter of 19/18 cm, while the actual measurement is 17 cm. As a basketball coach, even a 1 or 2 cm difference is significant to me. I feel deceived by this discrepancy. The seller is requesting a return, which would cost me an additional $40 and more time, resources I do not have. I've already given the item to a local kindergarten, so returning it is not an option. I had to buy a replacement product at a higher price due to the delay caused by this issue. I simply seek a refund of $51.34 to resolve this situation. My attempts to open a case have not been successful. I need assistance in holding the seller accountable and obtaining a prompt refund. Thank you for your help.
