I nade my very first purchase hase on ebay buying a used apple watch series * from item* ************ from the seller “awesomestuff***”. Before making the purchase I asked the seller if it was deactivated from the account and if everything was working correctly. He avoided my question by answering yes everything works fine and it is by bluetooth. Once my package arrived and I tried to sync it with my iphone it has an activation lock. I contacted the seller and told them about it and he kept insisting that if I go to an apple store they will unlock it for free. Apple does not do this unless you are the original owner and have proof of purchase. The seller was not cooperating and did not help me solve the situation by just deactivating it from the account it had. I don’t know if he sold me a stolen apple watch or what but what I basically have now is a paper weight, a brick and it is useless and I can’t use it. So I have requested my money back and to return the item. The seller had lied to me and it is unusable. I am very disappointed with the way the situation was handled and it’s not a good impression for it being my first purchase on ebay.
