A customer opened a return case for a mattress that he claimed was *cm shorter than the advert. However, he had opened the exact same claim on Amazon as he had purchased the same mattress there. We had agreed to refund him on Amazon. When he filed the claim on Ebay, I asked him for more photos because I couldn't see the defect in the photos he had sent me. He became abusive and threatened to post negative feedback all over the internet about us. I reported him to Ebay and they promised to not authorise his return for his behaviour. They also told me that I could call and escalate this issue today, but when I contacted Ebay by chat they said none of this was true. In fact Ebay has now instructed me to pay for the item to be returned or they will refund him in full. I also received an email from the customer saying he'll accept £** if I wanted to give him that. What can I do now? Please help!
