I sold a buyer an item ( Clarostat ***-C Power Resistor Decade Box ) on May **th, it was delivered on the **th. I didn't get any feedback so I sent an email, June *, to follow up and see how everything went. *"Thank you very much, for your recent purchase of the Clarostat Power Resistor Decade Box. *I always like to follow up with my customers and make sure that everything went well, and arrived as you expected. If you could get back to me when you have a chance, I would greatly appreciate it!!*Thank you again, for your business, I hope to hear from you soon!!*Warm Regards,*Liz"**He replied a few days later with this:*"The ***-C arrived with physical damage (bent binding post and front panel) not present in your picture, apparently a result of rough handling and*or insufficient packing. How would you like to handle this?"**I said: I was sorry to hear that and would do my best to rectify the situation, but that I could assure him it was not due to poor packaging. and I'm very curious how that's possible. It would have had to something major.. so that's concerning.. and asked if he could send me a picture of the damage, so I could be sure to handle it the right way...**He hasn't sent any pictures, or sent a refund request* claim (that I can tell) I am panning on sending another follow up message to see if he was wanting to return or get a partial refund?...**For future reference how should I handle this? I didn't insure the package. ($***)... so I can't complain to USPS can I? I want to be sure I give the best customer service.. and read all the policies etc... I've also read about scammers... I'm just wondering if this is unusual.. he never contacted me at all until I asked..**I just dont want to handle this the wrong way should it happen in the future.**Thank you in advance,*Liz
