I purchased a rug on eBay for 94 pounds from a seller. Unfortunately, Hermes delivered it to the wrong address and left it outside. Hermes acknowledged their mistake and advised me to seek a refund from the seller. The seller, who also contacted Hermes and was given the same information, is now suggesting involving the police and court before issuing a refund. The responsibility lies with the seller's contract with Hermes, not me. Despite my attempts, I am not able to reach eBay for assistance, and the seller is uncooperative. What steps should I take next to resolve this matter? Here is the email response I received from Hermes: Subject: Hermes Email Enquiry Dear Roz, I have investigated the delivery of your parcel and confirmed it was left outside the wrong address at number 12, an unacceptable delivery location. Our courier has been informed not to leave parcels there in the future. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. If you have not located the parcel, please contact the retailer/sender to discuss the next steps, which may include a refund or replacement. CatalogueDirect has been making excuses for two months, claiming I did not respond regarding the cracked screen on my **-inch TV. Despite notifying them and providing photos, they have not arranged for the return of the item. I feel frustrated with CatalogueDirect and eBay's lack of assistance in this matter. The ordeal has caused me stress, and I have lost confidence in eBay and CatalogueDirect. I am considering legal action as I have not received any return details, pickup, refund, or replacement. My experience has been disappointing and I feel mistreated as a customer.

I am extremely frustrated with the lack of response and assistance from Cataloguedirect regarding a damaged cello ** inch TV I received. Despite my efforts to communicate the issue, they have been giving me excuses for two months and have failed to arrange for the return of the item. eBay has also been unhelpful in resolving this matter, causing me unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I demand that Cataloguedirect picks up the broken TV and provides me with a refund or replacement. This entire experience has greatly disappointed me, and I am now considering legal action to recover damages and cover the expenses incurred due to their negligence.

I have sent two emails requesting a replacement yellow cartridge that was received without the necessary electrical contacts, rendering it unusable. The delivery was made on October 20, [redacted], when the printer indicated low ink levels. By January 28, [redacted], upon inserting one of the cartridge sets, an error message displayed stating "cartridge not in." Upon inspection, I discovered the yellow cartridge lacked electrical contacts. Subject: Appeal for Account Defects in December [redacted] To eBay UK Support, I am writing to address the account defects that occurred in December [redacted] for my eBay account under the name suestyling, belonging to Susan Russell-Fell. On the 12th of December [redacted], I was admitted to the hospital due to Covid-19, despite being fully vaccinated. I was discharged on the 23rd of December [redacted]. During my absence, I had to request someone to cancel around 20 orders for personalized items as I was the sole user of the software. These cancellations were marked as out of stock since there was no suitable option provided for explaining the reason for the refund. Subsequently, I decided to temporarily close my shop. I appealed all 20 defects through eBay's appeal process, citing my hospitalization as the reason. Unfortunately, all 20 appeals were promptly denied. The shop remained closed until the 1st of January [redacted], as I continued my recovery at home. I believe that the decision to uphold these defects is unjust, considering my prior good standing with eBay prior to this unforeseen illness. I made an offer of £[redacted] on a £[redacted] listing, and the seller accepted. We arranged for collection, but then the seller claimed the car was blocked in at a self-storage facility. We rescheduled, but my friend messaged to inquire about the car and was told it was still available, despite my purchase. To test if it's a scam, the seller accepted a £[redacted] cash offer from my friend and scheduled collection today, not responding to my messages. Now, he canceled on my friend last minute due to work. This seller is unreliable, trying to sell for more outside eBay, and has caused us both trouble. I intended to pay cash on collection, not trusting PayPal due to these actions. I suspect he is a scammer. My eBay feedback is positive, while the seller's behavior is unacceptable, and I believe action should be taken by eBay.

I bought an Apple Watch on February 15th and paid in full. However, on the 17th, my eBay account got suspended without explanation. The tracking shows that my watch was delivered on the 18th and signed for, but I never got it after checking with neighbors. The item cost £[redacted], and now I'm without it. Unable to contact the seller due to the account suspension, eBay suggested contacting the financial source. HSBC told me they require the seller's information to dispute the charge as they only see the payment made to eBay. I'm stuck and need help retrieving my money or the order. Even if my account can't be reactivated, assistance in resolving this issue is appreciated. Looking forward to a solution.

I am experiencing frustrating challenges with eBay. My account got suspended due to an £8.00 sellers fee issue. Despite numerous attempts to resolve it, I keep getting an error message that says "eBay ran into a problem. Please try later." I have spoken to six different agents who provided alternative links, all resulting in the same error. Even after trying different browsers as suggested, the message persists. I am stuck in a cycle of unhelpful support and wasted time. It seems like a technical issue that needs attention from the development team. Please refrain from sending more payment reminders until this is fixed.

I purchased a thickly padded sewing machine trolley case on wheels but unfortunately, I have not yet received the item. My order number is 13-08[redacted]7 with a scheduled delivery date of January 8, [redacted], from the seller "wowtrust." The price of the bag was 56.97 pounds. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue by contacting the seller via eBay messages, the matter remains unresolved. The seller provided me with a tracking number that the delivery company did not recognize. No delivery attempt notification was left at my property. The seller directed me to my nearest local DPD location with ID [redacted]07, but upon visiting, the item was not there. Good afternoon, I purchased an iPhone SE from the seller forelecplus. Upon receiving the phone, there were constant online noises audible to both myself and the recipient. After contacting the seller, they agreed to replace the unit. I returned it at my expense and received a replacement, but it had similar issues. The seller agreed to a refund if I sent the unit back, but due to needing the phone urgently for work, I also bought the same model from John Lewis. I later found out the refund had not been received when my accountant questioned the double purchase. Despite sending both units back with registered mail, I have not received any response or refund from forelecplus. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this matter. On February 6, I listed an item with a starting price of £[redacted] or a Buy Now option at £[redacted]. However, on February 16, despite not receiving any bids, I was notified that my item was sold for only £35.50 plus £3.85 for shipping, and I was instructed to send it quickly, which I did. On February 20, I received a payment of £33.51 to my bank account. Why was the payment less than the amount agreed upon? Then on February 22, I was surprised to see my item relisted at the original price. I no longer have the item to sell as I already shipped it as requested. Why was my item sold below my asking price without consulting me? Will I be charged for this unwanted relisting? If so, I find this unfair. After this experience, I am considering avoiding using eBay altogether. I look forward to a prompt reply.

My eBay username is mickpage59. I sold a guitar on February 17th (Item No. [redacted]81) using Parcelforce 48 shipping service purchased through eBay. The guitar was securely packaged in a gig bag inside a durable guitar shipping box with bubble wrap. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged at the buyer's location with a cracked headstock and damage to the package around the affected area. The buyer requested a £70 refund, which I provided to keep the guitar. I now aim to file a claim with Parcelforce for the lost money, but I am facing challenges as I did not directly purchase from Parcelforce. I bought the postage service through eBay. I placed an order for a Younique face mask last night at 11:40 p.m. I paid £13 for the item and £3.50 for postage. Despite selecting postage, the seller marked it as collected. Given the timeline, it's impossible for the item to have arrived today. I have screenshots proving that the item was listed with a postage fee of £3.50 and that I paid it. I'm willing to share these screenshots upon request. The seller's actions are dishonest, and I urge eBay to intervene. A refund should be issued since the item could not have been delivered in such a short time frame and was clearly designated as a postage item that I paid for, not as a collection item.

On February 24th, I received an email notification from eBay that my order from seller alipine for the Wireless Doorbell with order number 23-08[redacted]2 had been shipped. However, on March 2nd, I received an email from alipine informing me that the package was lost, offering me a refund or a new item. When I tried to respond to the email, eBay showed a message stating that the question was invalid or too old to reply to. I attempted to process a refund through eBay, but the order did not appear in my purchase history, making it impossible to proceed with the refund request. I am now unsure of how to proceed with getting a refund from eBay. Your help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Regarding Item: [redacted]85 eBay Account: [redacted] Return ID: [redacted] I recently initiated a return for items that I received that did not match the description provided. The items I received were completely different from the pictures shown on eBay. Despite sending numerous emails (almost 10 times) to the seller requesting a return shipping label, I have not received any response or label from them. I need to return the item by the 10th of March, and today is the 2nd, giving me 7 more days to complete the return. I would appreciate it if you could intervene and assist in obtaining a shipping label from the seller. Thank you. P.S. It was challenging to find a way to contact eBay through your customer support hub. I had to search online to obtain this email address. The hotline number ([redacted]51) was unhelpful as it only directed me to visit the webpage without offering any real assistance.

I purchased gloves for my father that do not fit. The fingerless mittens were shipped by Lisha Sports from an address on Kirby Road, Glenfield, United Kingdom by Hermes. When attempting to return them, I was provided with an address in China, which I cannot afford to send the item to. Despite sending two emails requesting the UK return address and filing a complaint, I have received no response. After struggling to find a mother of the bride outfit in local shops, I turned to shopping online and purchased one from 1983cherry. I purchased a Medium Loro Piana Jacket on eBay, but received a large one that was not authentic. After contacting the seller, they agreed to refund the item cost but not the £11.65 for return postage. Despite the seller having multiple complaints, eBay's resolution center declined to refund the postage. I did not open a case because the seller promised a refund. However, once the item was refunded, I could no longer open a case. Despite my request for even a partial refund, the seller refused. I have been a loyal eBay user with over 2,[redacted] positive feedback for 20 years. eBay should take immediate action against sellers listing falsely. This experience has been disappointing, and I am reaching out for support as I feel eBay's resolution center did not address my concerns adequately.

I returned a faulty Sat Nav on February 5th with a missing pin on the Power Supply. The seller received the item on February 7th. I have confirmed with PayPal that I have not received any refund payment. Despite sending numerous emails to eBay, I have not received any responses. They claim the refund was already issued but as a goodwill gesture, they will process another payment. However, I have still not received the refund. I have been unable to reach eBay by phone and their help page has been unhelpful with no responses. I feel disappointed by the treatment I have received as a loyal eBay customer since [redacted]. I have no complaints about PayPal as they are quick to respond and easy to contact by phone.
