Hello, I recently had my password reset, but I have not received the reset email to create a new password. Please resend the email as soon as possible. This has left me locked out of my ebay account, restricting my access to necessary actions. Furthermore, my contact number has changed, making it impossible for me to update it on the site without access to my account. As a result, I am unable to utilize live chat support or telephone assistance, which has been discontinued. I am currently at a standstill due to these issues, highlighting a flaw in the system as I have no means of contacting customer service.

Hello. I have been dealing with a recurring issue that has been troubling me. My status is considered Below Standard, and I have been working on resolving it. The root of the problem seems to stem from the previous year, and I feel confident that I have addressed it. In addition, I am facing another challenge with a listing. It seems there is an issue with listing a product. The platform has restricted my ability to list more of this item for now due to a limit on weekly listings. The message also mentions restrictions for unverified sellers or those not meeting performance standards. Given that my feedback is [redacted]% positive and I have been successful in generating significant income as a private seller, I am puzzled by this limitation. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide me with a solution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently reported an illegal ivory tusk for sale on Pravda [redacted] on eBay's UK site. Despite multiple attempts to contact eBay, including via email and phone calls to various UK numbers, I have received no response. I have used eBay's system to report the illegal sale at least three times, yet my concerns have been ignored. I won the tusk in an attempt to prevent it from being sold elsewhere, but I have not paid or contacted the seller yet. I am deeply concerned about the impact this sale could have in promoting the ivory trade and poaching. Having a background in elephant conservation in Tanzania and involvement in the CITES ivory ban in [redacted]/91, I am frustrated by eBay's lack of action. I intend to use the tusk to raise awareness through wildlife charities. Please assist in escalating this issue to eBay to address the situation promptly.

Subject: Appeal for Deactivated eBay Account To the Account Performance Team, I am writing to address the deactivation of our eBay account as per MC113. We strongly believe there has been an error in this decision. I would like to outline the sequence of events leading up to the suspension and provide supporting evidence to clarify the situation. Root Cause of the Issue with Timeline: 1. We registered with eBay under 'Junaid Iqbal Limited'. 2. Successfully linked our bank account for verification purposes. 3. Our intention is genuine to sell products on eBay, a respected online marketplace. 4. To understand eBay's platform, we researched and observed competitor activities. 5. We conducted a test purchase on eBay to evaluate the customer experience. However, the transaction failed due to card verification issues. 6. Contacted eBay support, who recommended using PayPal instead of a credit card. 7. Despite confirming with our bank that all was in order, the transaction still did not go through. 8. On 15th September, we were notified of the account suspension due to suspected activities and policy violations. We are perplexed about the exact reasons behind the suspension. We have invested significantly in inventory and earnestly request a reevaluation of this decision. We suspect that eBay misunderstood our browsing and competitor analysis as illicit behavior, triggering the suspension. Reasons for Incorrect Deactivation: 1. Our account activities align with eBay policies, specifically selling practices and seller performance. 2. We regularly review the eBay Seller Policies to ensure compliance and remain updated on any revisions. We are committed to full adherence to eBay’s guidelines in the future. Kindly advise us on any additional steps to avoid such misunderstandings. Anxiously awaiting your response.

Hello, I have not received any of my recent orders from your company and I am quite disappointed by this. I would appreciate it if you could redirect my pending orders to my daughter. Once the current orders are successfully delivered, I intend to close my eBay account. Today, Hermes was expected to deliver a package, and I am still awaiting its arrival. Both myself and my dog have been confined at home all day waiting for the delivery. It is frustrating that Hermes might delay due to my dog barking, as any pet would react to strangers. Kindly update my delivery address for future orders to: 15 Windsor Court, Lockerbie, Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, DG112JF. Thank you.

I have approximately 25 saved searches in my list, and they typically yield the desired results for newly listed OO gauge model railway items. Lately, within the past five days, the emailed results seem to include items that are not within the search criteria. Additionally, a recent issue I've encountered is that when I open an item from a search, a new browser tab opens and remains open even after I return to the search results. I have reviewed the browser settings for Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, but have not been able to identify any underlying problems.

Hello, I purchased 3 mattresses on eBay expecting delivery today. However, the driver instructed me to retrieve them from the van and carry all 3 mattresses to the second floor myself as they do not deliver to the door. This information was not disclosed in the listing, and if I had known, I would not have made the purchase. After expressing my concerns to the driver, he reluctantly agreed but left the mattresses inside the building without assisting further. Feeling overwhelmed, I sought help from a kind stranger who assisted me for £20. This experience left me extremely upset and disappointed, especially as a single mother without assistance. I have been a longtime eBay buyer and have never encountered such a situation before.

I attempted to contact you regarding a seller named Strawberry Soul who advertised a brand new food steamer that arrived used and not as described. The instruction book included is tatty with rusty staples, and the product has evident rust marks and signs of cleaning. It was poorly packaged without the original box. Despite my requests for a return, the seller has been unhelpful and refuses a refund or to provide a prepaid return label. Their responses have been unpleasant, blaming me for the issues. I am a disabled pensioner at 76, seeking assistance. My bank advised me to reach out to you for a refund since the item's condition is unacceptable and smells musty. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I am writing to address my recent permanent suspension from your platform due to "suspicious activity," which I am unaware of. I am a legitimate business owner who established my company following all legal procedures with the support of my government, verified by my VAT number. I pay taxes, obtained a bank loan secured by my parents' house to fund the business, and hired staff including former schoolmates and specialists to assist. The suspension has greatly impacted my ability to sell goods worth over €[redacted],[redacted] stored in my warehouse. I am prepared to provide any necessary documentation to verify my business legitimacy. Recently, I attended a class in Slovakia to improve my eBay selling skills, only to find my listings suspended upon starting. eBay is crucial for selling my electronic products efficiently. I invested in a premium subscription and plan to increase it. Cooperation with eBay is crucial for my business growth at 19 years old. I am open to providing a deposit for security and am eager to resolve any concerns to continue our partnership. Sincerely, R.N. CEO of FOXTRON

I purchased a 3 Seater Garden Canopy Swing Seat Waterproof Cover (Item #[redacted]73) which turned out to be smaller than advertised, making it unsuitable to cover the hammock properly. I need to return it, but the provided return address is in China. The cost to ship it back with a courier is more than the item itself. I asked the seller for a UK address or a return label, but they only offered a £6 discount to keep it, leaving the return deadline today. This response is not acceptable, as the seller is making it impossible for me to return the item. Please assist me in resolving this issue.

I am interested in resuming selling on my inactive eBay account, which was paused due to payment details needing an update by 31/05/21. Despite attempting to update my information through the usual account settings, I am unable to list items for sale. The process seems to loop without progress, and the generic help resources haven't resolved the issue. I am seeking assistance to provide the necessary updated details as requested by eBay in order to reactivate my selling capabilities promptly.

I purchased a car for £[redacted] from a classified ad on eBay UK. The vehicle is French registered, and I was guaranteed that all the necessary paperwork would be provided for me to register it in France. Unfortunately, the paperwork is incomplete, and despite my attempts to reach out to the seller for a signed and dated statement along with their identification, I have not received a response. I believe eBay should intervene by contacting the seller to ensure fair trading practices are upheld.

I purchased a pair of 12V 55Ah batteries on November 18, [redacted]. These batteries are not holding the charge long enough for me to complete a round of golf. Due to COVID lockdown restrictions, they have not been used much. I bought them from Discount Mobility Scooter Batteries, a part of SLK, which offers a 12-month warranty. I have tried to contact them through emails regarding replacements, but I have not received a satisfactory response. Despite sending multiple emails and responding promptly to their queries, I have not heard back from them with a solution. I forwarded all the email correspondence to them as well, but still no reply. As a 73-year-old with chronic arthritis in both knees, I rely on my buggy for golf, so I urgently need a new set of batteries to continue playing.

Hello, my username is jonvmax59. I sold an item a few weeks ago, and my listing clearly stated the terms: Cash on Collection Only, No PayPal, etc. The buyer agreed to these terms and placed a bid. However, the buyer later wanted to send a courier and make payment via PayPal, which I declined due to past scam experiences. Consequently, there was no further contact. I recently received negative feedback from this buyer, even though the sale was not completed. I would like this negative feedback removed. Since I cannot reach eBay by phone and my bank details are not updated with eBay, I had to contact through this forum. Regards, J. Goulden.

I recently sold an Apple Watch on my eBay account on September 25th, but I have yet to receive payment from eBay. The item sold quickly, and the buyer paid promptly; however, the payment delay started on September 27th. Despite contacting eBay multiple times, each reference number provided for the bank proves ineffective. I have considered escalating this issue to trading standards and pursuing a claim in the small claims court to recover the owed money, including eBay fees. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily within 7 working days, I will take legal action. This experience has left me with no desire to use eBay's services in the future due to the lack of customer support provided. My eBay ID is chaders06([redacted]), Payment ID is [redacted], Product number: [redacted]03, Reference payout for the bank is [redacted]1, and Call reference is 1-[redacted]88. I eagerly await your prompt response. Chloe & Lisa Chadwick

I purchased a Dyson hair straightener as an eBay guest from supplier Jetter24 for £[redacted]. The order number is 07-07[redacted]2 and it was placed on 14/06/[redacted]. Hello, Mr. B, I am reaching out about the Dyson HS03 F1G-UK-AAA8936A for repair. Unfortunately, the workshop has determined that the machine is counterfeit. I have attached a letter for you to use when contacting the retailer for a refund or replacement. The counterfeit machine has been confiscated and recycled to address safety concerns and our responsibility to remove such items from the market. Best regards, Operations Support Team - Dyson UK

Hello. I wanted to share my recent experience on eBay regarding bidding on items. Last Monday, on 18th October, I attempted to purchase a Christiano Ronaldo signed picture as an early Christmas gift for my grandson. Despite bidding on three separate items, I was not the highest bidder and later won a Mason Greenwood signed picture instead. Surprisingly, I later discovered I was considered the winner of the Ronaldo items as the original winner retracted their bid. I contacted the seller to explain my situation, expressing that I had moved on from those items after not winning the bids initially. Unfortunately, the seller has not responded, and the eBay system keeps prompting me to pay for the Ronaldo items. This situation is new to me, and I find it unjust. The order number in question is [redacted]12, and the seller is identified as cIhu9549. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jack231210

A customer purchased a cross stitch kit from me on September 28th but has now informed me that she ran out of some necessary threads to finish the project. Despite my attempts to source additional threads, I couldn't find any. After contacting the Chinese supplier, they offered a refund if the kit is returned to them. I proposed this to the customer, suggesting a refund upon receiving the kit back. However, she expressed hesitation to return the partially completed kit but still demands a full repayment. This puts me in a difficult position as I cannot obtain a refund without the kit. I am considering offering a partial refund for her to buy the threads independently. Should she decline this compromise, I am unsure how to proceed. I appreciate any advice on how to handle this situation. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Derek.

I made a purchase on eBay UK with the item number [redacted]50 and order number 14-07[redacted]0 using guest checkout due to forgetting my account password. It seemed quicker as I have used guest checkout before. However, the item has not arrived, and it is three days past the estimated delivery date. I got an order confirmation email stating I would be notified when the purchase is shipped. Since then, there have been no updates. The money was deducted from my bank account for the item and shipping. When I try to contact the seller through the email, it prompts me to create an eBay account. I reset my password on my old account but can't input the item number. I couldn't find a phone number to reach eBay UK directly. I just want to know the status of my order and receive it or get a refund. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

My son recently sold some iPods on eBay, and despite sending them 1st class with tracking and signature, the payment has been delayed for weeks. Today, when his money was expected to be deposited, his account was permanently suspended for alleged rule violations. There seems to be no way to address this issue or retrieve the £92 owed to him. I attempted to call customer service but was directed to contact them through other means, which is impossible due to the account suspension. This lack of assistance is disappointing. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I may have to seek guidance from the small claims court.
