I have reached out to eBay multiple times via email but have yet to receive a resolution for my issue. Attempts to contact them by phone were unsuccessful as the call abruptly ended on Saturday, January 23rd. My concern arose after bidding £8.74 on a dress, successfully making the payment. I also purchased 4 packs of ladies' briefs at £4.74 each with free postage, totaling £18.96. However, my PayPal account shows a charge of £22.66. Upon contacting the seller, I was informed that I only ordered one pack priced at £4.99. While the dress transaction was accurate at £8.74, I noticed additional unauthorized charges on PayPal for a top I did not purchase, as well as two other partial payments totaling £3.99 and £4.99. The PayPal descriptions are unclear, and I am seeking clarification as eBay has not provided a satisfactory explanation. Regards, A. Griffiths

Regarding the seller appeal for SR# 1-[redacted]57, On October 20th, I received an email from PayPal claiming that juneandann paid £49.11 for the dictation system. Trusting the email, I sent the item to The Dictation Store. Subsequently, PayPal informed me that the email was indeed fraudulent. Juneandann alleged that the item arrived damaged and requested a refund, stating they cancelled the payment. Despite this, I did not receive any funds, and no refund request was made on Ebay. Facing this fraudulent situation, I have yet to have the item returned since the buyer expects me to cover the £15.00 return postage, which I cannot afford after losing the original payment. I have contacted Ebay three times without any response, highlighting the poor customer service. I have also reported the fake PayPal emails to Ebay and PayPal. I kindly urge Ebay to address this issue promptly and resolve the case.

Hello, I have been using eBay for a decade without any issues. My track record shows [redacted]% positive feedback from buyers. However, trouble arose when I began selling on the platform. Despite having no complaints from buyers and selling a product similar to many active sellers, my account was abruptly blocked without explanation or a chance to defend myself. Hello, I purchased a Fitbit Inspire from Mobitec2014 on December 4, [redacted] through eBay under the username CarefulMan. However, upon giving it to my partner as a Christmas present, we noticed several issues. The package lacked instructions, the spare strap was incomplete, the clock was 12 hours off with no way to adjust it, and it briefly showed data from someone else when turned on. I contacted the seller via eBay messaging on Christmas day. Despite a few exchanges, communication ceased. I threatened to escalate the matter to eBay’s resolution center unsuccessfully. After attempting to reach out again on January 25, I struggled to navigate the resolution process, ultimately finding out today that the case was closed. I am disappointed by the recent experience I had on eBay. On January 25th, [redacted], I contacted the seller elbor1223 from Italy to purchase two fabrics: STOFFA AL METRO STAMPATA SETARASO PURA [redacted] PER CENT GUCCI 2 MTRS for EUR [redacted].80 and STOFFA AL METRO STAMPATA SETA PURA [redacted] PER CENT GUCCI 2 METRES NEW for EUR [redacted].80. I was shocked to find out that the seller disappeared without sending the fabrics. I feel upset and concerned about being scammed. I hope to receive a refund soon. It's disheartening to see people taking advantage of genuine buyers.

Hello, I purchased a breast pump on November 30th with Order Number 15-06[redacted]0. It arrived at the beginning of December, and the seller was responsive, reassuring me about its use. I recently plugged it in to prepare for our baby due in April. Unfortunately, the hub does not charge or show any lights. I contacted the seller on January 23rd but was unable to send a message. My eBay account got restricted in November [redacted], and I couldn't buy or sell. I reached out to eBay, but they needed to verify my invoices since I joined 16 years ago, despite my [redacted] positive feedbacks. I created a new account in December [redacted] to make purchases, but couldn't sell due to it being linked to my original account. I had to close the old account by January 28, [redacted], as a result. Recently, I tried to list items on the new account, and it was also restricted. I purchased three "UK Replacement Various Repair Spare Parts for Xiaomi M365 Pro Electric Scooter" from ebay seller "advanced-mall" in China. The order number is 08-06[redacted]4, and the item number is [redacted]94. I placed the order on January 12, [redacted]. eBay initially estimated the delivery for January 22, but on January 20, Yodel, the delivery service, claimed the item was delivered. However, neither I nor my flatmate received anything. Yodel's tracking number is JD[redacted][redacted], and they stated it was placed through the letterbox, which seems unlikely due to the item's size. I have contacted the seller twice via email with no reply. eBay's automated responses have been unhelpful, providing only a faulty tracking link. I have been unable to find eBay's customer service phone number. I feel both eBay and the seller are disregarding my concerns. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I would like to address an issue with my recent purchase from the seller jg[redacted]4 on eBay. I originally bought 2 tabards overalls, assuming they would fit my wife who wears a UK size 14. Unfortunately, these items seem to be more suitable for a young teenager around the age of 16 rather than an adult woman. The seller's attitude and language were also unacceptable, making references to crossdressers and men wearing women's clothing, which do not apply to us. I have already returned the goods twice, and one of the items had a missing button. This experience has caused me a lot of stress, and I am seeking a reimbursement for the purchase. To whom it may concern, A while back, about two years ago or more, you asked me if I would like eBay to make various "offers" to sellers on my behalf. Initially, it was fine, but it no longer is. I request that you stop making immediate offers to sellers after I decide to "watch" a new item. Sometimes I cannot afford to buy an item right away, especially if an offer has been made to a seller the moment I begin to "watch" it. If this continues, I may have to close my eBay account. On January 31st, I won an auction from seller (phoneshop74). I attempted to pay for it, but eBay declined my debit card. Initially, I thought it was an issue with my bank. Following a call to them the next day, they confirmed no problems with my card. Despite eBay suggesting I pay through PayPal, my new card was also rejected. After reassurance from my bank that my card was fine, I reached out to the seller to inquire about alternative payment methods. The seller suggested a direct bank transfer, providing me with the necessary details. I made the transfer, but the funds did not reflect in his account until after 17:00 on February 1st. The seller claimed not to have received the payment, although my bank confirmed otherwise. Despite reaching out twice without a response, I remain uncertain about the situation. I'm hopeful for eBay's assistance in ensuring I receive the phone I purchased by facilitating communication with the seller. If unsuccessful, involving the authorities may become necessary.

I have an issue with seller ROMA302081 regarding a livestock trailer bought for my daughter. The trailer needed some repairs, which we were getting ready to do. We paid £[redacted] via Debit/PayPal Visa. A contractor, Simon, was sent to collect the trailer but found it not roadworthy due to being sunk in the ground. I contacted customer service regarding a refund and return, but was advised to print a refund sticker, which is not feasible during lockdown. The item remains at the original site. Dear Customer Service, I am writing to file a complaint against a seller on eBay, Gravity Performance. I purchased a car part from them on 23.01.[redacted], only to discover that it was misadvertised and not suitable for my vehicle. Despite providing evidence of the error, the seller initially refused to acknowledge their mistake. After several days of correspondence, they finally admitted their error but were unable to offer a replacement part that matched my vehicle. I proposed returning the item at their expense, but they were uncooperative. They promised to arrange for a collection, but it has yet to happen. Despite my efforts to facilitate the return process, they have not provided a tracking number or collection label. Additionally, they have started to ignore my emails and make false accusations about the return attempts. I made an offer for item No. [redacted]76 on eBay two weeks ago via the "Make an Offer" option. After the seller accepted my offer of £25, I encountered issues paying for it as the option had disappeared. Despite contacting the seller and complaining to eBay's customer support, I faced difficulties submitting my complaint due to a technical issue on the website. Eventually, I placed a bid on the item again, winning it for £39 instead of my original £28 offer. The seller now demands £39 despite our agreed £25 price. I suspect eBay's automatic credit card sign-up caused this problem, overriding my agreed offer and leading to the higher bid. Despite seeking assistance from eBay's chat agent, I have not received a satisfactory resolution. I hope eBay can rectify this situation promptly as it has been frustrating dealing with these complications.

I am writing in reference to case number [redacted] regarding a purchase from seller lewkev. Unfortunately, the item we ordered has not been received at our address. Despite attempts to contact the seller, we have not received any response to our emails. The seller simply confirmed that the parcel was signed for and considered it delivered. However, we have not received the package, and we have been unable to locate it even after investigating with our neighbors. Although the carrier is now conducting an investigation, I believe the seller should have been more proactive in resolving this matter. The assumption that the parcel was delivered without proper verification is concerning. I hope for a prompt resolution to this issue. Thank you.

I am an eBay seller with the ID monddial, known as Robert Cordell, and can be reached at [redacted] As a private seller, I typically sell around £[redacted] worth of items per week. I have been selling continuously on eBay for the past 5 months and hold an 'above standard' seller rating. Hi, I recently purchased Brita filters which turned out to be fake. Despite contacting the seller and being promised a replacement, I never received the new filters. The seller seems unwilling to resolve the issue and is now claiming the parcel was delivered - which it was, but with fake items. I no longer trust this seller and would like a refund instead.
