I purchased a pair of slacks for my wife in good faith as a Christmas gift. Upon receiving them, I noticed a strong fish odor and discovered they were the wrong size. When I reached out to the seller for a refund, they initially seemed confused. After some back and forth, the seller offered a 20% discount, then later a 50% discount, which seemed suspicious. When I tried to contact eBay for assistance, I was met with unhelpful responses. It became clear that the seller may be a scammer posing as a legitimate company. I have contacted my bank for support in blacklisting the seller and securing a refund for the unauthorized charges from JINJIANG FEIDA. As a long-time eBay user, this experience has left me questioning the platform's security measures. Being a pensioner, it's crucial for me to recover the funds. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I raised an issue with rarewaves mistakenly instead of leaving feedback regarding the non-arrival of Volume 6 of Fred Dibnah. The seller offered me a choice between a refund or a replacement DVD, and I opted for the replacement, which they agreed to. However, despite being informed by eBay that the seller agreed and the case was on hold, the replacement DVD has not arrived. I was told it would be sent by tracked mail, but I never received the tracking number. When contacting the seller, I only receive the same response asking for my address, despite already providing it multiple times. I would like assurance that the replacement will be sent or a refund issued promptly. Please contact me at your earliest convenience regarding this ongoing issue. Thank you.

I purchased an item that was shipped from China. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I found it to be unsuitable and poorly made. The delivery was made on 25/11/20, and I returned it via Royal Mail tracking on 2/12/20. Despite being informed by Royal Mail that it might take up to 4 weeks, I discovered in early January that the delivery to the address in China had encountered issues and was held at the delivery depot since 16th December. eBay has closed my return case, and I am unable to find a solution to report that I have not received a refund yet. Despite providing all the tracking information, including screenshots of the China Post tracking and the original Royal Mail tracking number to the seller, they maintain they have not received the item. I paid £35 for the product and had to spend an additional £25 to return it. It is frustrating dealing with this situation, and I suspect they are intentionally delaying the process in the hopes that I will give up.

Throughout the verification process, I provided all the requested information, such as my driver's license, council tax bills, and bank statements. Admittedly, some documents were submitted slightly late due to my demanding schedule as an NHS worker. Despite my efforts, my account remains suspended. I currently have 53 active listings, but any attempts to edit or create new listings are unsuccessful due to my account being under review. Contacting customer service yielded conflicting responses, with one representative requesting more information while another mentioned banning. I am perplexed by the situation as a long-time, reputable seller with over 10 years on ebay and a history of positive feedback. I diligently pay my fees and prioritize customer satisfaction, often issuing refunds even at a personal loss. I believe I have complied with all verification requests and expected my account to be reinstated accordingly. I value ebay's verification measures but suspect an error has occurred in my case. I kindly request a thorough review of my account and offer to provide additional documentation if necessary. I am uncertain of what steps to take next but remain hopeful for a resolution. I am frustrated about my ongoing struggle to receive the funds owed from winning a dispute on eBay for item *******8 - Nike Air Max Denham shoes valued at £[redacted]. The buyer scammed me by falsely claiming they didn't receive the correct shoes. Despite initially ruling in their favor, the dispute was rightfully settled in my favor upon appeal. However, I have yet to receive the refund. My PayPal account, J*********6, was closed due to my age, which complicated matters as the refund didn't align with the account closure. My parents have authorized the refund to be processed through their PayPal account (f********@gmail.com), linked to my eBay account (b********59). Hello, I recently bought a phone from the seller "aqsixo" with order number 08-06[redacted]5. Upon receiving it, I noticed the screen had scratches after removing the screen protector for inspection. I contacted the seller, and a lengthy exchange occurred. They requested I return the phone in the same condition with the screen protector on, but it was damaged when I removed it. The seller agreed to the return, but I had to replace the protector myself. I worry about potential issues the seller might find with the phone and how it could affect my refund. I purchased a Hugo Boss EDP from Homeshop as a birthday gift which I intended to give next week. Realizing that the delivery date was set for March 5th, I checked and saw that the item had not been dispatched. I reached out to the seller, explaining the situation and requesting to cancel the order. Despite not receiving any confirmation of dispatch, I was informed via email that the delivery would take 22 days. The seller did not acknowledge my request to cancel the order nor did they mention that it had been dispatched. Upon checking the status later, I noticed that the item had been dispatched. I expressed my disappointment to the seller, but they did not respond. I believe the seller mishandled the situation by disregarding my timely cancellation request and proceeding with the dispatch against my wishes.

On December 29, [redacted], I purchased a washing machine for my 90-year-old father from Curry's PC World eBay shop, including delivery, connection, and removal of the old machine. The delivery was scheduled for January 2, [redacted]. However, upon arrival, the delivery team refused to disconnect the old machine, leading to a rescheduled delivery for January 8, [redacted]. Despite arranging for the new machine's connection, the delivery did not occur as planned. After contacting Curry's, a new delivery date was set for January 22, [redacted], due to the item being out of stock. I waited for the delivery but received no updates until I reached out on January 21, [redacted]. Shockingly, the seller informed me that my purchase had been refunded without further explanation. This ordeal has caused significant distress as my disabled father requires constant care, making a working washing machine essential. I had trouble processing my seller fees payment, and eBay has removed this as an available payment method. I made the payment in the app to update my account, but I am unable to log in online to add a new payment method, preventing me from listing items. Despite changing my password multiple times, I am still unable to access the online platform. I have attempted calling eBay customer service numerous times today, only to be directed to call during business hours. Despite calling at different times, the system continues to inform me that customer service is closed. I have a security reference ready to provide if I could speak to someone. Online help requests my account details every time and do not provide assistance. I am reaching out for help with my account as the situation is becoming frustrating.

Swiftly, I offered him the option to keep or return it, providing DPD labels within hours. I even supplied convenient drop-off points for the return. However, the buyer refrained from any communication until 31 days later when he initiated a return through eBay, resulting in a substantial deduction from my account. To make matters worse, the buyer shipped it to an old London address without insurance, disregarding my provided DPD labels for a secure return. Hello, I bought what was supposed to be a pallet wood home craft kit, but received a shipment of dirty, mouldy, and damp offcuts instead. The wood was unusable for my project due to the mold and dampness. The seller offered me a partial refund, but I requested a full refund as the product was not as described. After attempting to return the item with a label provided by the seller, I found that it was rejected by the post office due to being overweight. The return shipping cost nearly as much as the item itself, making it unreasonable to return. The seller has been unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. It seems other buyers have experienced similar issues, and this has deterred me from using eBay in the future. The seller's top seller status is misleading given the poor quality of the product received.

I received a craft kit that was not as described. Instead of pallet wood for arts and crafts, I received mouldy, damp, and dirty offcuts that are unusable. The seller only offered a partial refund, so I requested a full refund through eBay. However, the postage label provided was incorrect, resulting in the post office refusing to accept the return unless I paid £23. I am unable to contact eBay as it seems the seller is expecting the item to be returned. This experience has been disappointing, and I am considering not using eBay in the future. All I ask for is a full refund for the unusable item.

I sent an item on January 7th, and the seller (Hellietidteal) claimed it was dispatched, but the tracking information shows it's not in transit. I messaged the seller twice with no response. Upon checking the address, it appears to be an optician's shop, not a makeup seller. I've tried contacting eBay, but the questions don't address my issue. I'm frustrated with the lack of help from eBay. Phone calls haven't been useful either. The payment has been processed for the item. I have a buyer who wants to return an item that was sold as non-returnable. The item was sold as new with tags attached. It was originally priced at £24.99 but sold for £5.00. The buyer claims there is a defect, specifically a loose piece of cotton on the inside hem stitching, which I believe may have occurred after he received the item. The buyer purchased an item and, after receiving it seven days later, she decided to return it, claiming that it was not as described and did not match the photos. I disagree with her assessment, as I had clearly mentioned that I did not know what the marks were. She also stated that the bag was covered in paint, which I also dispute, as it is not the case. Initially, I refused the refund but have now accepted it. I believe that eBay should review the situation, as the buyer's claim about the description not matching the item is unfounded. I had advised her to refer to the photos, where upon enlarging, one can observe the marks, and the bag is not as the buyer describes. I am requesting eBay to intervene, assess the buyer's statements and photos, as well as review my description and photos to determine if a refund is necessary.
