I encountered issues with filling out the necessary eBay forms as they seem unrelated to my concerns. Despite attempting to contact them via phone, I was prompted to call back during specific hours, leaving urgent matters unaddressed. It is frustrating that when facing potentially fraudulent activity, there is no immediate 24/7 support available. This situation arises from a purchase involving a steam iron linked to a compromised account, leading me to seek assistance from the Seller, only to find their details removed from the eBay Tefal Steam Irons site. The delay in resolving this matter is concerning, especially with the urgency of potential fraud. My name is Anne Wells, and I am based in Wimborne. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

I'm located in Hong Kong, and unfortunately, I received the wrong items from eBay belonging to a different seller. Contacting eBay through their website or phone has been challenging. The shipping costs through DHL to get the correct order are high. Navigating eBay's website for a solution has been confusing and frustrating. This is my second issue with an eBay purchase. In the past, I dealt with a seller who had a compromised computer displaying products they didn't possess. The problem was resolved through PayPal. Beware as a buyer when shopping on eBay.

Dear eBay, I would like to draw your attention to the communication between me and the seller regarding a recent purchase. The seller has not responded to my messages since 13/7/[redacted] to address the issue with the item. [Message content redacted for brevity] I purchased an iPhone 6 on 17 Sept [redacted] (item number [redacted]05) and have been experiencing problems with it not charging properly and issues with using headphones. Despite trying new chargers, the problem persists. I believe the phone is still under warranty. Thank you for your attention to this matter. A. Dempsey

I purchased a Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt on eBay, and when I checked the courier details, the item was no longer listed. After further investigation, I discovered the seller's account had been suspended, and upon receiving the item, I realized it was a fake compared to my authentic items. I had to pay for the return postage using the provided return label, and I opted for signed tracked delivery for safety. However, eBay is only offering a refund for the item, not the return postage of £4.45. Despite the seller's [redacted]% feedback score, I suspect others had similar issues leading to their account suspension. The seller was relatively new since March [redacted]. It doesn't seem fair that I have to cover the return postage, especially with the seller unresponsive, and eBay's unclear response. Thank you.

I purchased item number [redacted]64 after the bidding ended. The seller told me later that the camera charger was faulty, which wasn't mentioned before. They promised to send a new charger, so I accepted. When the camera arrived, it had a flat battery, so I couldn't test it as promised. The replacement charger never arrived. When I asked the seller about it, they didn't respond. I asked for a refund and return, but the seller called me a liar. I decided not to engage further with the seller due to their abusive behavior. Unfortunately, I now have a non-functional camera that was not as described. I couldn't find a way to address this on the eBay site since it's been more than 8 days.

Hello, I placed an order for item [redacted]04, thinking I was getting a book from a UK seller, but received a DVD from a company in America instead. I returned the parcel to the address provided and contacted the seller for a refund, but they have not given me a satisfactory response. It's been a while without any communication from them. I cannot send the DVD to the UK address as it was already returned to the address on the package. It seems like the seller is misleading buyers by not disclosing the actual origin of the items. I am seeking a refund for the item plus the £4.85 I spent on returning it to the correct seller. Thank you. Tom

I am a retired individual who recently faced issues with listing fees on my account due to unwanted activity when I advertised a car for sale. Despite not including my phone number, I received hoax calls and scam texts from individuals trying to obtain my PayPal information under the guise of buying the car. Subsequently, there was even an attempt to breach my PayPal account. I promptly removed the listing but have not received assistance after reaching out to ebay and Fraud Prevention. I believe it is unfair to be charged fees for an item that attracted such unlawful behavior causing distress. I kindly request for this matter to be resolved promptly and appropriately. You can reach me at 07[redacted]22 or via email at [redacted]

I recently sold an item that was shipped on August 30th to a buyer who claimed it arrived with a broken screen. The buyer messaged me after returning from holiday to report the damage, stating that the radio was not well wrapped and arrived in a bag instead of the original box. I find this confusing as I shipped the brand new radio well-packaged in its original box with polystyrene. The buyer's complaint has led to my PayPal account being frozen, which I believe is unfair since I believe the damage occurred after the item was in their possession. I am frustrated by this situation as the item was new, packaged securely, and the damage seems to have been caused by mishandling. I am seeking a resolution where I am not held responsible for the damage or forced to refund an item that was tampered with after delivery.

Hello, I'm Tom Sutton, known as trsutty0 on eBay. Approximately 2 months ago, I sold item number [redacted]14 and personally delivered it to the buyer on July 27, [redacted], as arranged through eBay. The buyer, alanj8647, recently reached out claiming non-receipt of the item. Regrettably, I have no delivery evidence since I handed it over without a signature due to concerns about transit damage. I find it concerning to receive this communication. While I lack tangible proof of delivery, I find the delayed inquiry peculiar given our agreed delivery date. I am now uncertain about the situation and suspect possible deception for a considerable sum of money. I intend to contact eBay shortly. For any further communication, please reach out to me at [redacted]. Best regards, Tom Sutton

I had a frustrating experience with eBay regarding a return. Despite being polite, the seller did not provide a USPS label for the return promptly. Whenever I call eBay U.S., I reach non-U.S. representatives, which adds to my frustration. Is there a way to consistently speak with a U.S. agent? The item in question is #[redacted]25. After an eBay representative miscommunicated with the seller, she became uncooperative, delaying my refund. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Can eBay ensure U.S. agent assistance consistently? Your swift response is appreciated. Thank you for your help. Best regards, Kevin.

Hello, I am Ronald Williams, and my eBay ID is willow_parr. I am extremely frustrated with my attempts to contact you. On 25 Jul [redacted], I purchased item#[redacted]25 from clarkdu1, which turned out to be faulty. Despite multiple messages to the seller requesting help, I did not receive any assistance. The seller refused to provide a return label, and being out of the country from 25/08/18 to 08/09/18, eBay closed the case without resolving the issue. I have been unsuccessful in reaching eBay through their website, continuously going in circles until discovering this method today. The purchased item is not showing in my history. Could you please assist me by refunding me for the faulty item, adding it to my purchase history, and providing a return label as the seller has been suspended? Thank you. Ronald W.

Subject: Issue with Missing Order from England Case #[redacted] Dear Support Team, I am reaching out regarding a recent order of Wedgwood Jasper Ware Pale Blue that I have not received. The package was expected to arrive on August 31st. However, according to the tracking details provided (WNDirect tracking #SEU[redacted]21, PBI tracking #UPAAC[redacted][redacted]), it seems there was an issue with the delivery process. I raised a complaint with eBay, and unfortunately, received a message stating that the case was closed due to the assumption that I had refused the delivery on September 17th. I would like to clarify that I did not refuse any package as it simply did not reach my address. This situation has left me extremely frustrated and dissatisfied. I have also contacted the seller who confirmed they did not receive the merchandise back either. Despite my attempts to appeal this decision with eBay, I encountered difficulties as the provided phone number must be from the UK. As I am currently in Portugal with a Portuguese number, I was unable to proceed with the call back request. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Your attention to this issue is greatly appreciated. Best regards, S. Buchholz

Yesterday, I tried to buy a set of studio monitors on eBay using PayPal Credit, but encountered issues during checkout. PayPal Credit was not eligible due to various reasons listed. While trying to rectify this, I unintentionally received an email confirming the purchase of two of the same items, even though I hadn't completed the transaction. I am new to eBay and PayPal and sought advice online. I tried changing my payment options, but I haven't received the code needed to confirm. The email I received indicates a total due of £1,[redacted].00 for two items. I plan to cancel this mistaken order and will also reach out to eBay for help. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am seeking a refund for an item that was never shipped. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with eBay, I have been given conflicting information about when I can expect my money back. The product in question, the Velleman HPS40 Personal Scope (ID: [redacted]59), was purchased on October 4th from the seller beng80, who has not responded to my inquiries about the shipment. After reaching out to eBay and receiving reassurance that I would receive a refund on October 11th, I have now been informed that I must wait until the 19th to initiate a claim. This delay has been frustrating as the item was meant to be a birthday present from my wife, with my birthday approaching on October 20th. Despite the setbacks, I have found a replacement and now eagerly await resolution.

I purchased Latin dance shoes on eBay (UK) on October 4, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the shoes I received were not the correct size - they were smaller than the UK size 6 that I ordered, evident as I wear a standard UK size 5½. Upon contacting the seller, they initially offered me £3.00 and allowed me to keep the shoes. As the shoes were unusable, I requested a full refund of £12.09. After no response from the seller, I escalated the issue to eBay, who sided with me. I returned the shoes, and the seller refunded the item cost but not the return postage of £5.34. Despite reaching out via email, I have received no response from the seller. The seller is accountable for the return postage due to selling a misrepresented item. I am seeking help to engage eBay further, as I am unable to reopen the case directly on the platform since it's labeled as closed.

I purchased an eBay item, a fur coat (Item [redacted]33), and paid via PayPal. After a few days, I messaged the seller as the item had not arrived. Upon checking with Hermes, I discovered that the tracking had halted, and the item was lost at their Northern Hub. The seller refunded me via PayPal, and I received Refund ID SW739840JJ[redacted]. Surprisingly, the parcel was later found by Hermes and delivered and signed for on October 23rd at 11:13 am, between the dates 17th to 22nd. Neither the buyer nor Hermes informed me of the delivery. I asked the buyer to return the refund, but there has been no response since. I even sent a PayPal invoice for the return of the refund but to no avail. I have reported the issue to eBay regarding buyer chrissieclare123, but all they have done is send a copy of the original payment. It seems like the buyer is being dishonest, as she has received the coat without returning the refund. My eBay ID is anik555.

I listed an item on eBay that was sold to a buyer in Italy through the Global Shipping Program. The item was shipped to a UK address specified by eBay for forwarding to the buyer. The buyer claimed the item was not received, opening a case in Italian on eBay Italy. Despite providing the Royal Mail tracking showing delivery to the UK address, the buyer was refunded, and my PayPal payment was reversed. When I contacted eBay, I explained the situation and provided the correct tracking details. However, during the appeal, eBay Italy was given an incorrect tracking number, leading to the appeal being rejected in Italian. Subsequently, they debited my account for the item again.

I sold item [redacted]27 on eBay, and the buyer wants to return it claiming it doesn't fit. My listing clearly states no refunds are offered, and there are no issues with the item. I included precise measurements that the buyer neglected to verify for fit. The buyer is now requesting a full refund, which I disagree with because (1) the item is not defective, (2) measurements were provided but not utilized by the buyer, and (3) refunds are not part of my policy. I need to contest this refund request based on the above arguments. I mistakenly clicked to accept the refund on the eBay platform but wish to clarify that I do not want to issue a refund. Please review our email correspondence on eBay for further details.

I recently bought a HP Pavilion 14" Laptop in Black with Intel Core i3 and 4GB of RAM from Ben Hilton on eBay. I paid him £[redacted].99 through PAYPAL on October 6, [redacted], at 20:41 BST. The payment included £[redacted].0 for the laptop and £9.99 for Express Delivery charges. I was expecting to receive the laptop by October 10, [redacted], with the express delivery option. After contacting Ben about the purchase, he claimed he was on holiday and unaware of the transaction, which I find hard to believe. Since he has stopped responding to my messages on eBay, I am concerned that he might have deactivated his account. As a result, I have decided to open a case on PayPal to resolve this issue.
