I am a VERY UPSET EX-User of your service.**Username: drcws****Registered Name: *Casey Schmidt**I’m writing because at *:**pm EST today (********) I discovered my membership had been erroneously renewed this morning, despite taking considerable care in doing so last night well-prior to the auto-renewal deadline AND having successfully completed the cancellation of the additional premium upgrade (that wasn’t due for renewal until ********) just a couple of minutes prior...**The full scenario is as follows, and please accept my apologies in advance for my stern language used herein, for I’m almost beside myself with frustration over this issue...**I reside on the East Coast of the US and had signed up for a month membership that ended at midnight last night and was due to renew this morning (********) @ **:**am.**I set the calendar on my phone and went online last night and cancelled the service and the added “premium feature” @ approximately **:**pm EST... **Thinking ahead and trying to guard against an automated charge being made to my account, I even altered the identifying information on my credit card, thinking the card could not be billed with an incorrect last name and zip code attached to my VISA account... **To assure that my account wasn’t still active and that I’d not been billed, I went online just before starting this protest letter (@ about *:**pm EST)... **However, MUCH TO MY CHAGRIN, I discover that my membership had been erroneously renewed, yet also registered as “cancelled” until the current membership period expires on ********!!! ... WHAT!?!?... **From what I can gather, my subscription was apparently automatically renewed after I had cancelled it on ******** at approx. **:**PM, some *:** hours prior to the Pacific Standard Time deadline of **:**PM... It’s currently registering today as “cancelled” until the current (erroneously renewed) membership is due for “renewal” on ********?... (I mean, why would anyone immediately “Cancel” a subscription that had been renewed at **:**am the same day???)**This, while the “premium upgrade” I referred to earlier I’d taken the extra steps to cancel at nearly the same time last night and currently registers accurately as “cancelled”... **(I’ve a screen shot of both the accurately cancelled premium service that I accomplished at the same time I cancelled*unsubscribed my membership last night prior to the renewal deadline)**I also rechecked my updated credit card information, that you’ll recall I changed last night during the cancellation process to an incorrect billing zip (***** vs *****) and last name (“Sch” vs “Schmidt”) in am extra effort to guard against exactly this sort of electronic foul-up. **And, indeed, the incorrect information has been saved*attached to the card when I was in the process of cancelling the subscription... **So, this problem brings forth an additional question about how my subscription could be renewed using a VISA card with grossly incorrect billing information attached to the card?... (fyi - I’ve a screen shot of the incorrect identifying information registered to my credit card).**Needless to say, I’m Extremely UPSET about this sort of electronic shenanigans*billing fraud being perpetrated by such automated services... Especially when I’ve use for the service!...**THEREFORE, I UNEQUIVOCALLY DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE AND FULL REFUND FOR ANY CHARGES RELATED TO THE UNAUTHORIZED RENEWAL MY ZOOSK MEMBERSHIP!!!**Although EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT to bring up at this point, yet I feel it important to inform you of other “concerns” about Zoosk membership practices that I would have otherwise preferred to have left to unpleasant memories...**I’m choosing not to get into the specifics of these issues at the current time, nor details regarding other rightful*appropriate recourse I’m prepared to take, as I’m hopeful my billing problem can be rectified in a prompt and expeditious manner... **In the mean time, please reply at your earliest opportunity to my member email address and I’ll respond accordingly: *******@***.com**Thank You*Casey Schmidt **(In your electronic review of my case, please note my account was unintentionally left open, but UNUSED in terms of contacting other members for much of the day both before and after my discovery of my erroneous membership status)
