I did not authorize the purchase on Zoosk. I am unsure how my credit card information was obtained without my consent. I previously canceled and now I have been charged unexpectedly. I seek prompt resolution or will involve the Better Business Bureau and legal counsel. This situation has caused me distress as I suspect unauthorized access to my computer. I have a concern regarding Zoosk mistakenly contacting individuals using my name, which has caused both embarrassment and confusion. This behavior goes against our agreement, and I have heard similar complaints from others. If this issue reoccurs, I will request a refund for my recent renewal. Below are two examples illustrating the problem: First Example: "I received messages from Terry referencing interactions that I know nothing about. This indicates potential fake views generated by Zoosk. If this is the case, please disregard any messages, as it is not me. Apologies for any inconvenience." Second Example: "After politely declining an individual's advances due to distance and incompatibility, I continue to receive messages assuming a different persona. I subscribed to your service, but have been unable to access my account for over a month. None of the phone numbers provided work, and the online "contact Zoosk" and "Help Center" options lead to an error page on all browsers I've tried. I previously contacted in December but did not receive any assistance. My account seems to have been merged with another man's account named Chris. Despite receiving an email about my story being updated, I never made any changes. Now, Chris's information is on my account, and I am receiving his messages. I have noticed a confusing pattern on the views feature. When I check who viewed my profile, those people are then notified that I viewed them. This creates a misleading loop where it seems like someone may be interested or even stalking when they are not. It concerns me that this could potentially mislead others. I haven't subscribed yet due to this issue and would appreciate it being addressed for a better experience on the platform. - Jackie Craigie

My Zoosk membership was unexpectedly canceled by an administrator without any explanation or chance to defend myself. I believe this treatment is unfair and could be considered discriminatory. If there was an accusation against me, I would have gladly proven my innocence. It is frustrating that while some questionable individuals continue using Zoosk to deceive others, I am left without clarity on why my account was terminated. I am considering reaching out to the attorney general to address this issue. Dear Zoosk Customer Support, I have attempted multiple times to upgrade my account to a paid subscription by entering a validation code that was supposedly sent to my phone. However, despite verifying that my phone number is correct on my account, I have never received the validation code as promised. I was prompted to enter the code that was never sent and to input a new phone number, which is not an option for me as I only have one phone number. I am keen on upgrading from free to a paid subscription, but I am unable to progress due to this issue of not receiving the validation code initially. This situation is becoming increasingly frustrating. If your team is unable to resolve this matter, I may need to delete my account and consider using an alternative dating app. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I have a concerning issue with Zoosk that borders on fraudulent. After receiving numerous messages from profiles, I purchased a membership a month ago. Despite initial interest, once I became a paid member, messages from these profiles stopped completely. Upon canceling my subscription and becoming a non-paid member again, I started receiving similar messages, indicating potential fake profiles designed to lure users into upgrading to a paid membership. This bait-and-switch tactic is misleading and troubling. I am hesitant to re-enroll due to these practices and am contemplating reporting Zoosk for their behavior. I recently spoke with a Zoosk representative named Eric Watson, who seemed to be from India. Despite the noisy background, he instructed me to go to the Play Store to fix an issue where I couldn't view messages from people wanting to meet me. As a paid member, I desired a reminder before my subscription renews, possibly in April. However, during the troubleshooting, I became suspicious when directed to a Bitcoin-related page. This raised concerns about potential fraud and hacking. Consequently, I deleted the contact icon he mentioned. I am unsure if my account has been compromised. I am eager to know my subscription's expiration date and ensure I won't be billed mistakenly. The experience was unsettling, and I hope for clarification to ease my worries.

Despite claiming to have genuine profiles on some platforms like Match and Meetville, he also maintains false personas. Greg Voss, a 39-year-old father with a daughter and son, targets younger women aged 18-25. He portrays himself as charming and sympathetic, exploiting others for explicit communications and images. His real name is Gregory Voss, residing in Adamsville, Alabama, and working at Big Number One Motor Sports in Homewood, Alabama. It is crucial to be cautious of him to prevent further harm.

I signed up, uploaded a photo, but now I've changed my mind and want to remove everything. I managed to delete my picture, but I keep getting emails about people viewing my profile, even though I have no picture for them to see. I also receive emails about new matches in my area. I can't access my profile without adding a picture, which is frustrating. I want my profile and email deleted. Any guidance on this issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am reaching out regarding a recurring issue with my Zoosk account. On 1/24/19, I made a payment of $29.99 for my subscription, but it was not applied due to an incorrect email on file. The Zoosk app shows my last payment as 6/24/18 and a courtesy payment of $0 on 1/1/19. I have already disabled auto payment and kindly request the activation of a 1-month subscription starting from the date of my initial purchase. I value my Zoosk membership and would like to continue using the service, but if this issue persists, I will have to delete the app. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

I have attempted to cancel my Zoosk subscription twice, once just before it expired, using the cancellation methods provided by Zoosk. However, my credit card has been charged again both times. I find this unacceptable and have involved my attorney in the matter. Despite unsubscribing from Zoosk emails, I continue to receive them. I have not used Zoosk since canceling and will take legal action if a refund is not issued. While Zoosk has a good online reputation, they need to improve their practices. Please inform me of any decisions via email. Thank you.

I signed up on Zoosk today, thinking I would be billed $12.50 monthly for six months. Instead, I was charged a one-time fee of $74.99. I contacted Apple Support via email but haven't heard back regarding the charge. Initially, I could communicate on the account, however now it seems I need a subscription to do so. I am disappointed with the ads and the limitations within the app. I am considering canceling the subscription due to these issues.

My VISA Debit card expired for Zoosk subscription service on 30th September [redacted], and I did not update my billing information. Zoosk should not have been able to debit further subscription costs on an expired VISA. Additionally, I have not used Zoosk since [redacted] or logged into the service. I have a new email account. My bank account has been charged over $[redacted] for this service, with $[redacted].70 charged to an expired VISA, which is against the law in Australia. I want these charges returned as they were wrongfully taken from an expired card. I will visit my bank next week to address the remaining issue. I am very dissatisfied as I only used the service for a few months and have been charged for years of non-use. Unsubscribing is only possible from a PC, which I do not have access to regularly due to work restrictions. Despite making a complaint to Zoosk, I have received no response. - Andy G.

I've been a member of Zoosk for almost a year now. Lately, I've been facing technical issues with the app, so I reached out to support multiple times via email and phone. I inquired about the recordings of our conversations, and they confirmed they keep records. Despite assurances from support that the technical problems would be resolved, my app issues persist. I signed up for a 2-month premium membership, which has been of no use due to the ongoing problems. In response to my concerns, the support team only offers me a free 6-month extension or a 50% discount coupon. I chose Zoosk for its good reputation and service, but I'm disappointed by the current situation.

I am facing an issue with the constant requests for more money on this platform. If you don't comply, the quality of connections decreases significantly. As my subscription renewal approaches, the number of messages from attractive people suddenly skyrocketed, with a [redacted]% increase in responses. This situation feels like another money-hungry scam. I will give them one more month to rectify this or I will share my experience on social media. I intend to seek advice from my family's reputable law firm to explore my options. I will not give up until this exploitation stops. It's disheartening to see this happening in Canada, the best country in the world. I am disappointed with recent events in my country.
