Today I rented a Zipcar from *:**pm to *:**pm. When I reached my destination, I had to turn the car off for a few minutes in order to find the people I was picking up. When I came back to the car, it WOULD NOT START and I had to receive a jumpstart from another vehicle. This took roughly ** minutes. (When I had initially gotten INTO the car at *:**pm, my friend and I noticed the interior lights were on, and we turned them off. I believe this led to the battery dying, but I can’t be sure.) * I just received an email from Zipcar that I am being charged $***.** for what would have been a $**.** rental. I requested an added ** minutes BEFORE I reached my destination, and was charged $**.** for that. I was also charged ** dollars for being ** minutes late, when the REASON I was late was because the car’s battery was dead. As far as I am concerned that is in NO way my fault, and I would like that money refunded. Charging me $***.** is absolutely ridiculous.
