I posted my home for sale just about * weeks ago. I have showings scheduled and I received a call today from one of the buyers saying that my listing is showing on Zillow as "off market" and he wondered if still for sale. Why is my listing showing this way? Since I can't reach customer service right away I had to re-list my home, which Zillow states can take up to ** hours. So - I may lose buyers! Several real estate agents have told me over the past * weeks that at times my listing doesn't show, or shows as "off market" or there are no photos showing with my listing. At first I thought they were just lying to try to get me to distrust Zillow and list with them. Now - I don't know what to think. Please let me know why my listing changed to "Off Market" by Zillow and how I can prevent this from happening again. Please don't email generic, pre-printed response, like Zillow did for my last question about why I cannot input my phone * in the "Contact Seller" form. This inability to do so is driving interested buyers to agents - costing me *% if they buy. I would obviously want buyers to be able to contact me directly. I get that posting Zillow is free, and that Zillow makes money by real estate agents advertising on Zillow. But if actions are being taken by Zillow to purposely thwart FSBO's and drive buyers to agents, that is very, very wrong and potentially class-action material. I can't get an answer from Zillow as to why I can't post my phone * in the contact form!!
