I am requesting the removal of a review on my business from a former employee who was terminated for failing to deliver a website despite being paid. Unfortunately, the individual in question has resorted to defaming my character on Yelp, which I believe is retaliatory in nature. I have evidence to support the circumstances of her dismissal and would be happy to provide any necessary documentation to validate this claim. It is concerning that she chose to air her grievances on a public platform rather than pursue legal recourse if she genuinely felt wronged. As a business owner, I rely on platforms like Yelp to promote my business, and such unfounded allegations can have a detrimental impact. I urge Yelp to consider the veracity of her claims and assist in rectifying this situation promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - The Mimi Agency, Meisha Y.

Dear Yelp Support, This is our third attempt to reach out to you in hopes of claiming ownership of a business page. Recently, I acquired this business from the previous owner, who is still listed as the current account holder on the page. We are eager to reclaim the page. Could you please guide us on the necessary steps? We have faced challenges getting a response from your team despite reaching out via email and phone. Will we need to provide business and legal documentation to verify ownership? Should you also contact the former owner to confirm the change in ownership? Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated, or else we will have to escalate this matter. Additionally, there are inaccuracies in the business hours and other details that require correction. Thank you, Omar S.

Dear Sir/Madam, I recently shared my feedback on YELP about the "Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant" in Redmond, WA, detailing my experience with the manager's inability to accommodate my dietary needs and unprofessional behavior. Following this, the owner reached out, apologized, and assured me that the issue was addressed with the manager. Subsequently, I received a comment from a YELP user, "Green P.," criticizing me for dining at the restaurant despite my allergies, which are a medical concern for me. I believe this comment breached YELP's guidelines by disrupting another user's review, including personal attacks and discriminatory remarks about my allergies. Contrary to Green P.'s statement, I have successfully dined at various Thai restaurants without any issues with my dietary restrictions. Hence, I kindly request your assistance in urging Green P. to remove the inappropriate comment directed at me. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Dr. C.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am a Yelp user known as "H. C." from Seattle, WA. I recently posted a review on Yelp for the "Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant" in Redmond, WA, expressing my disappointment about the manager's inability to accommodate my dietary restrictions and her unprofessional behavior. After my review, the owner contacted me, apologized, and assured me that the issue had been addressed with the manager. Today, I received a comment from another Yelp user, "Green P.," calling me dumb for dining at the restaurant considering my allergies, which are a medical condition for me. I believe this violates Yelp's guidelines as it disrupts another user's review and contains a personal attack and discriminatory language regarding my allergies. It is important to note that Green P.'s statement is inaccurate, as I have received proper accommodation for my dietary needs at various other Thai restaurants in the past. I kindly request that you consider asking Green P. to remove the comment. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, H. C.

My review of Hope Animal Cancer Clinic was unfairly removed by an algorithm. I had shared the story of Lucy, a special patient. Unfortunately, the issue was resolved briefly but returned to an unreadable status. As a new business in a competitive area, positive reviews are vital for my growth. I cannot afford paid promotions currently and rely heavily on organic feedback. Please repost my positive review to support my budding business. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope to collaborate with you in the future.

Recently, I posted an emotional review about a business that I regret. The people there have been nothing but kind to me, and I now realize my mistake. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the email address I used to post the review and cannot access it to make any changes. I truly want to rectify this situation and remove the review. I am willing to verify my information to the best of my knowledge, but I can't recall the email as I created it quickly and never used it again. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me in resolving this matter.

I am the manager of a restaurant that opened on June 16, [redacted]. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch customer service from our enthusiastic staff, resulting in 51 five-star reviews and two one-star reviews. With our unique menu options crafted by experienced chefs at competitive prices, guests have recognized the value we offer, setting us apart from other eateries. However, we have encountered an issue with Yelp. Despite our authentic reviews, many of our positive ratings have been consistently removed, with little explanation from Yelp support other than attributing it to their recommendation software. To make matters worse, two negative reviews have significantly impacted our overall rating, dropping us from five stars to three stars. Our team at Lalo's Mariscos is disheartened by this unfair treatment, as we have not solicited any reviews. We seek assistance in escalating this matter to higher management at Yelp, as the basic support has not been able to provide a satisfactory resolution despite our efforts. Thank you for any guidance you can offer.

While looking through reviews for a car repair shop, I read one that used an offensive term towards the mechanic. The reviewer referred to them as a "Chinaman," which is inappropriate and should be removed. I reported it to Yelp, but they decided to keep it online despite violating their Content Guidelines. Yelp's own guidelines state to report reviews with hate speech or inappropriate language, like using racial slurs. If they wouldn't allow a derogatory term like "N*****," they should also remove "Chinaman." This review should be flagged or edited to remove the offensive language.

On July 27th, I posted a negative review about North Fork Taps & Corks. Recently, on August 10th, I noticed multiple derogatory comments on my Facebook and wedding websites. These comments falsely accuse me of inappropriate behavior towards patrons at North Fork Tap & Corks. The mentions of the establishment led me to believe they are targeting me. While I hesitate to repeat the content, I am willing to share screenshots if necessary. Moreover, I received a 'Yelp compliment' from Danielle B from Southold, who has previously given positive reviews to this bar. The message called me a derogatory term. I am considering involving the police and the NJ cyberbullying unit. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - M.

I would like to address the concerns raised in Paula S's review. The content of the review appears to be unreliable, and I have brought this issue to Yelp's attention. Despite receiving a response citing issue number [redacted], I am dissatisfied with the resolution provided. It is crucial to reevaluate this situation as the described incident seems implausible. The individual mentioned seems to have had no firsthand experience at the establishment and lacks the necessary information to make such claims. Furthermore, the confidentiality regulations followed at the medical practice mentioned would make it improbable for such interactions to occur. The person behind the review also does not seem to be associated with the business, adding to the questionable nature of the post. I urge Yelp to reassess this review, as allowing it to remain compromises the integrity of the platform. I kindly request a thorough review and removal of this misleading content. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I tried to make an order with Burger Village in Park Slope, Brooklyn on Monday night, 9/3, at 9:40 pm. The Yelp app did not inform me that the restaurant was not accepting any more orders for that evening at that time. Despite this, I proceeded with the order. After about 40 minutes with no delivery, I checked my email to see the estimated arrival time. I was surprised to see that the email indicated my order was scheduled for delivery the next morning. No warning about this was given on the Yelp app when I placed the order. When I contacted the restaurant, I was informed that they received the order for the following day, not the same evening. They advised me to reach out to the service I used for a refund.

To whom it may concern, I am Bertha K, a regular Yelp user, writing regarding a recent experience at Holly Crab in Boston, MA. On Saturday, September 8, [redacted], I placed a takeout order that was unexpectedly canceled. After reordering with an additional item, I visited the restaurant 10 minutes later for an update but was not provided any information, and was given a new estimated time. Upon returning for my order, a waitress handed me an extra bag of food, causing confusion as she couldn't confirm my order. Upon arriving home, I discovered two charges on my credit card from the same place. I am reaching out to understand how to proceed with obtaining a refund for the duplicate charge and the canceled order. Thank you for your assistance. Best, Bertha

I have been continuously stalked by this user and have been dealing with them for three years now. This individual is dedicated to preventing others in certain parts of Tampa from earning good reviews. They operate three other fake accounts and are active 24 hours a day. The primary fake accounts they use are Joni, with a picture of Charlene Tilton who played Lucy Ewing on TV's Dallas, as well as another account under the name CM Christina. These fake profiles have been reported multiple times, causing trouble on Yelp and ruining the experience for many members in the community. Several of my friends have also been targeted by these accounts. I am unsure of what actions can be taken, but I wanted to bring this issue to your attention. Thank you. Sincerely, John Stone Tampa, FL

I had a disappointing experience with Grubhub recently. After waiting over an hour for my order, I contacted them and the restaurant only to find out that the driver supposedly picked it up an hour ago. Despite spending over an hour and 15 minutes on the phone, the driver couldn't be reached. They claimed to offer me $50 as a refund but refused to reimburse me in full until they spoke to the driver. After a long back-and-forth, where I felt like I was being accused of lying, they finally agreed to refund the entire amount. The whole ordeal took nearly three hours, leaving me hungry and frustrated. I've had better luck with Uber Eats, where I could track the driver's location and communicate directly with them. Grubhub should consider implementing similar features. A simple apology, a full refund without hesitation, and a gesture of goodwill for future orders would have been appreciated. I hope my next experience with them is better. -Sheryl (Sierra) D. [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]

Dear Community, I had a frustrating experience with Grubhub recently. After waiting for an hour for my order, I called them and the restaurant. They claimed the driver picked up the order an hour ago. After prolonged discussions and failed attempts to reach the driver, they offered only a partial refund, implying it was a favor. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor, who promptly agreed to a full refund. The ordeal lasted from 4:24 PM to 7:07 PM, leaving me feeling frustrated and hungry. I believe Grubhub should have handled the situation better by apologizing sincerely, refunding the full amount, and offering a credit for future use to make amends. Comparing this with my positive experiences using Uber Eats, which provides more transparent communication with drivers and their location, I can't help but feel that Grubhub has room for improvement. Sincerely, Sheryl (Sierra) D. Email me if you want to see the snapshots I mentioned.

I believe Yelp is unfairly manipulating my business page, leading to defamation and slander. I own a local business named "The iPhone Guy," which always had a good reputation on Yelp. Recently, a sales associate named Justin has been pressuring me to pay for their premium services, even though I consistently declined. After I blocked Justin's number, a highly negative review appeared on my page. Furthermore, Yelp has moved all my positive reviews to the "Not Recommended" section. One specific false reviewer, who I never worked with, wrote damaging lies about my business. Despite showing proof to Yelp that this reviewer is not legitimate, they have refused to remove the review. It's clear that Yelp is not treating me fairly compared to paid clients. I have been encouraging genuine clients to leave honest reviews, yet all their reviews end up in the "Not Recommended" section. This biased behavior from Yelp is unacceptable, and I demand they remove the false review and restore my legitimate 5-star reviews to their proper place on my page.

I have suggested location changes on maps, and after receiving an email stating: "Recently suggested for_________ We’ve taken a look and made any updates we could confirm. We may have modified your changes to fit our style guidelines. As we gather more information from our users, we will continue to update this listing. We value your feedback." I have reviewed your guidelines thoroughly, and there are no reasons preventing the adjustments you made. It appears that the marker is not being moved correctly. I have tried multiple times to make modifications to various locations, but despite receiving the same email response each time, no actual changes have been implemented! I recommend ensuring the accuracy of the locations by double-checking them on Google Maps before finalizing any updates. Please address this issue by making actual corrections instead of just sending automated responses. I hope you can resolve this problem promptly as I am quite dissatisfied with the current situation.

I am seeking assistance with a situation regarding a review that was left on my business page. The review contained harsh language and inappropriate content. The individual described an encounter where they were greeted by a staff member at our salon while they were on their way to another salon, which seemed to have upset them. There are suspicions that this reviewer may have personal ties to the salon instead of being an actual customer. Given the aggressive and inappropriate nature of the review, it is believed that the individual may have been intoxicated when they wrote it, as it was posted around 3AM. We kindly request the removal of this review from Yelp as it is not suitable for our page and is causing distress.

I have come across numerous reviews on YELP regarding the Colorado Board of Psychologist Examiners. This state agency is responsible for licensing psychologists and addressing complaints against them. Several reviewers shared their negative experiences dealing with this board, stating that their grievances were not adequately addressed. I am currently unable to locate this specific section of reviews on the website. Can anyone provide guidance on how to access these reviews again?
