Dear Sir**I acquired my Yamaha *** De’light in March **** it was a gift from my uncles estate it was registered by him on the **th June ****. * The scooter has covered just *** miles and yesterday I took it for its first service to our local Yamaha dealer Jay of York they inform me they could not do this service under warranty as the scooter was nine days past its date and I had to pay £**.** which I did and have the receipt * The real problem arises though because the scooter has a faulty passenger foot peg on the left hand side and they will not entertain repairing this under the warranty they also gave me an estimate of £** to repair this problem with the scooter only covering *** miles I find this distressing especially with the fact that I am ** years old and have been observing the rules for Coronavirus and it has been impossible to get my scooter to York even if Jax had been working * I hope you can understand my distress and can help me to get my scooter foot peg repaired at an approved dealers close to me in Leeds York or Harrogate under your warranty scheme which due to unprecedented circumstances has run out of date by nine days **Regards Paul Sketchley

If I can’t get this issue resolved by Yamaha I will never buy any product of theirs again
