I bought a website on October 14th and received the verification link two days later. I clicked on the link to verify my account, however, I still can't access my webpage as it's stating that it still needs to be verified. I've tried resending the link on my desktop but haven't received it yet. The website is showing as under construction. I need to know how long this verification process will take and if there was an error during registration or purchase. I require access to my profile to move forward. The website is prompting me with the message: "Activate your account to access this page. Please check your email for a link to activate your account." If you're facing similar issues or have any technical solutions, please assist me promptly. Thank you.

Since last year, I forgot my Yahoo email address. I encountered water damage on my old Google Pixel. Now that I have a new one, I am having trouble logging in. The contract on the phone has expired, and I am currently paying off the bill to unlock it before getting a new phone. I cannot retrieve any emails on my Gmail with a reset password because the number on my Yahoo account is no longer in use, locking me out of receiving the passcode. I can only make calls using Wi-Fi. I also have a second phone for calls and texts. I remember setting up another security question before the key security feature was in place. I'm looking for assistance in changing the number associated with my Yahoo account or accessing a reset link for my main email. This pertains to my Yahoo account. Thank you.

I am unable to access my yahoo.com email account. I know the email address and password, but I'm experiencing issues with two-factor authentication as the mobile number on file is no longer valid. I do not have a secondary email address listed to receive the authentication code. How can I update my mobile number to receive the code for correct authentication? In this situation (knowing email address and password, but unable to access the phone number), it seems there is no solution available. It appears that the email account may be lost as it's not possible to update contact information without logging in, which requires a successful two-factor authentication. Losing access to the phone number seems to result in losing the entire account due to the two-factor authentication process. I have found that the Yahoo hotline from India charges for assistance and only provides generic help links from the Yahoo site, which I consider unhelpful and a waste of money.

I've received an email that threatens to expose information about me hacking into my account at [redacted] I am unsure how to proceed. Hello, I regret to inform you that on 17/07/[redacted], I hacked into your OS and obtained full access to your account at [redacted] The message you are reading was sent from your account, proving my access. Although you can change the password, my malware easily intercepts it each time. My approach involved exploiting a vulnerability in your router's software, allowing me to insert malicious code. When you accessed the internet, my trojan infiltrated your device's OS. I then conducted a complete dump of your disk, gathering your address book, browsing history, files, phone numbers, and contact addresses. Initially, I planned to lock your device and demand a ransom in btc. However, upon discovering the adult sites you frequent, I decided to take a different route. I created a composite of screenshots capturing your activities and pleasures, intending to use them for leverage. To prevent the exposure of these screenshots to your acquaintances, I demand $[redacted] in bitcoins for my silence. You have 48 hours to comply before the information is disseminated. Once the payment is received, both the virus and compromising screenshots will be removed automatically. Please do not attempt to trace or remove the virus, as your data has been transferred to a remote server. Avoid contacting me, as the email was sent from your account, making direct communication impossible. Conventional security measures will not work, and data destruction will be futile due to the remote server storage. You are not my only victim, but I assure you that after the payment, you will not be disturbed again. I advise you to update your antivirus software regularly to prevent similar incidents in the future. Remember, this is just business. Good luck.

Hello, I wanted to share that I recently received an email that was flagged as a scam by my Yahoo account. The sender claimed to have access to my Yahoo account and personal data. They demanded $[redacted] in bitcoins within 2 days or threatened to expose my information on the dark web and social media. I reported this to the local police, who suggested I contact Yahoo for further investigation. I have screenshots of the email and the sender's details. Additionally, I received unauthorized Apple Pay purchase emails, despite not having an Apple Pay ID or making any recent purchases. The Apple ID seemed to be linked to my Yahoo account. While I believe the password mentioned by the scammer was outdated, I've since updated my password and security measures. I've deactivated my account key and set a new password. I'm unsure of the extent of the scammer's access to my data. I hope Yahoo addresses this issue promptly and will provide them with the necessary information for their investigation. Thank you.

After updating Outlook this morning, I noticed that my emails were appearing in my Inbox but then getting permanently deleted. I reached out to Microsoft support, and they set up a new mail profile, which initially seemed to resolve the problem. However, after about an hour, the issue reappeared. When I contacted Microsoft Office chat, they advised that it's a Yahoo server problem, and I need to wait for Yahoo to address it. I've asked Yahoo for a mail restoration for the lost emails, but the problem persists. I'm unsure how to escalate this to Yahoo support since the options on their contact page don't match my issue. I use Office [redacted] Personal with Yahoo linked to Outlook via IMAP.

Hello, For the past 15 years, I have had an account with Yahoo.es using the email angelita.comocaidadelcielo@yahoo. Following a Yahoo update some years back, I added a cell phone number for login verification. Unfortunately, the phone with that number was stolen nearly two months ago, leaving me unable to access my account. Regrettably, I cannot recover the old number as I obtained it when I was a minor, and regulations in Colombia prevented the sale of smartphones to minors at the time. The number was then transferred to my late mother, the only one who could have retrieved it from the phone company. I didn't add an alternative email to my account. I am seeking assistance to regain access to my account using my password that I still remember. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently rediscovered my old Facebook account but am unable to log in due to a forgotten password. Upon trying to recover it through my Yahoo account, I encountered a message stating, “We've noticed some unusual account activity” and requesting verification. However, the hurdle I face is that the recovery account linked to my Yahoo is another Yahoo email address I no longer recall, and the phone number associated with both accounts hasn't been in use for around 7-8 years. Although I believe I know my Yahoo account linked to my old Facebook, I am unable to gain access, possibly due to the phone number being outdated or my login location differing from where I resided 7-8 years ago. My Yahoo email is [redacted] Please reach out to me promptly. I am eager to recover both my Yahoo and Facebook accounts. Thank you.

I'm having trouble accessing my Yahoo email because I forgot my password. The backup email address attached to my Yahoo account no longer exists, so I can't receive the recovery code to create a new email address. I've tried contacting Yahoo to change the recovery email address to no avail. I previously reached out about this issue but provided an incorrect email address by mistake. I'm reaching out again for assistance. The password retrieval box no longer includes a secret question. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo account, specifically [redacted] I forgot the phone number linked to it, which I no longer have. Even though I know the password, Yahoo keeps asking for the old phone number to send a recovery text. I can't receive the text without the old number. I am not the only one facing this issue and would appreciate any help to bypass the verification text step without the old phone number. I just want to get back into my Yahoo email without creating a new account. I believe it might be due to getting a new phone without my old number. I have provided my secondary Gmail and phone number [redacted] for assistance. Thanks for your prompt help in resolving this matter. - C.T.

Hello, my father is currently incarcerated and has requested my assistance as his power of attorney to take care of his affairs. He is trying to access his Yahoo email account, but we are aware that Yahoo does not provide this information to power of attorneys. I am seeking guidance on how to help him as there is important information in his email that he needs to retrieve. The email handle is [redacted], and the last known password attempted is either blk224 or blzk224. His birthday is 09/16/[redacted]. Unfortunately, he does not have a photo ID to provide. We have tried the password reset option, but he no longer has access to his old phone number associated with the account, and there are no reset security questions. I am willing to provide any necessary proof if needed to assist in resolving this matter and ensuring he does not lose everything before his release. Any guidance on what steps we can take would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I would like to bring to Yahoo's attention an issue with their weather forecast page. When checking the 5 or 10-day forecast for Washington Court House, Ohio [redacted], inconsistencies are noted. The icons displayed for rain percentages do not match the detailed information shown when clicking on a specific day. For example, the general forecast may show rain, but the hourly breakdown does not mention any precipitation. Moreover, the high and low temperatures displayed for each day vary between the summarized and detailed forecasts consistently. It seems to be a recurring problem that I wanted Yahoo to address. Thank you, Scot

Hello all, My friend and I have created a new blog to save the content that Yahoo is removing. I had informed my Yahoo group earlier about our progress and recently sent out another message to share that the new blog was live with instructions on how to access it. Unfortunately, I just discovered that my latest message was not posted. This situation is making it challenging to inform the members about our new blog. Yahoo seems to have not kept their word. They initially set two deadlines, with the first being October 28th. I am looking to reach out to Yahoo and request that they fulfill their commitment by allowing my message to be displayed on their site. Thanks, WJ
