Roughly two years back, a piece of advice from a college graduate stuck with me - not to delete emails. Consequently, I now find my Yahoo account inundated with thousands of junk emails. I've been diligently working through them and have made progress up to early [redacted]. Is there any way to expedite this deletion process? Additionally, yesterday, inadvertently everything in my Yahoo account got minimized (likely hit a wrong key). As a result, I can't read anything now. How can I rectify this issue? I also haven't transitioned to the new Yahoo service to safeguard my private information. Could this be related to the problems I'm experiencing? I admit I'm not very tech-savvy, being older. Any help or guidance you could offer would be highly appreciated. Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.

I typically have Google/Chrome set as my homepage. Recently, when I attempted to use it, it redirected my web search to Yahoo for my email. Whenever I try to use Google search, it automatically switches to Yahoo search. This issue seems to occur only when the "Bob Dylan Wallpapers Full HD" extension is activated. Strangely, this problem began on July 24th, [redacted]. Does anyone know why this sudden change happened and how I can revert it to the way it was prior to 4 days ago?

I have been using a Yahoo account for years, but I can no longer access it since I lost the phone associated with the account key. When I try to sign in, I am asked to input my old mobile number to verify my identity, but as I cannot access that number, I am unable to proceed. Even when I select the option stating that I cannot access the device, the system prompts me with error messages indicating that I do not have the necessary backup information linked to my account such as security questions or alternative email addresses. The sign-in process seems to be in a loop, as providing the old mobile number triggers a text verification to the unreachable phone. I have tried exploring the Yahoo help site for solutions, but without a valid phone number, I am stuck in this sign-in dilemma.

Subject: Feedback on Yahoo Mail User Experience Dear Yahoo Mail Team, I would like to provide some feedback regarding the user experience on your email platform. Firstly, the email page layout extends beyond the width of my screen, causing the scrollbar to be out of view. It would greatly improve usability if the scrollbar remained within the borders of the screen. Secondly, it would be beneficial to have my full email address displayed prominently on the top of the email page instead of the current search prompt. This change would enhance personalization and ease of use. Moreover, addressing the issue of multiple ads within a single unsolicited email by incorporating a delete checkbox next to each ad or eliminating automatic ad downloads altogether would be highly appreciated by users. Lastly, offering users the flexibility to hide or display the menu on the left side of the screen with options like Inbox, Unread, and Starred would be a welcomed customization feature. I urge you to address these concerns promptly to improve the overall Yahoo Mail experience for all users. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Sincerely, A Concerned Yahoo Mail User

I recently experienced issues with my phone being shut off in May, and after getting a new iPhone and phone service two weeks ago, I've been trying to recover my accounts. Despite recalling my last Gmail password, Google was unable to verify my identity. I've had two Facebook accounts since April [redacted]. Google mentioned they would investigate and provide an update. They requested details about a recent post, which I remembered sharing one about getting a new air conditioning unit.

I received a call from a person claiming to be with Yahoo Mail named Ron Mason at 1-[redacted]. He informed me that there have been complaints about receiving numerous selling and marketing emails from my email address, with reports from 18 individuals. I explained to Ron that I haven't accessed my Yahoo Mail account in over a year. He mentioned this issue started on July 17, [redacted]. I requested more details about the types of emails being sent, but Ron advised me to check my email for them and report back to him or Yahoo for further investigation. I expressed my confusion over the situation and asked to speak with someone proficient in English. For further assistance, I provided my contact number [redacted] and asked for a prompt phone call from a representative. Thank you.

I neglected to update my phone recovery number which I no longer have access to. Consequently, I am unable to retrieve my emails. I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue promptly. I've been trying to regain access to an old account that's linked to several game accounts of mine. Unfortunately, I'm stuck and can't recover them as I can only remember the answer to the first security question, "Singapore." The rest of the information has slipped my mind. I'm looking for any other way to recover my account. The email associated with the account is [redacted]

I am having issues with my sky.com email address linked to Yahoo. I forgot my password, and the recovery process is not recognizing my phone number or alternative email. When I try to recover using my sky email, it leads to an endless loop with no solution. Creating a new Yahoo account only offers @yahoo.com addresses, making it seem like I can't retrieve access to my old email. This situation has become frustrating, and I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this matter.

I am having trouble accessing my Sky account because someone has changed my password. I am unable to log in despite being told I would receive a log-in number via email. My preferred email address is [redacted] My daughter created a Gmail account for me, but I prefer to use my Sky email. I have received instructions to delete the Gmail account, but I am unable to do so due to the password change. Can you assist me with this issue? Thank you, R Hales.

Hello, I am seeking a solution for my Yahoo email password problem. My account email is [redacted], which has been locked for some time now. The issue at hand is that whenever I request a password reset, the link is being sent to a dating site I once registered with this email. However, when I check the link on the dating site, it does not seem to be valid. How can I resolve this matter? Thank you.

I recently received an email from the Postmaster claiming my email was blocked due to a Yahoo policy violation. The link provided in the email seems suspicious, especially since I was sending the email from my Gmail account to an AOL address. The message mentioned spam, even though I was only emailing one person about the loss of a mutual friend. I am concerned it might be a hacking attempt. Can someone please provide me with the correct email address for Yahoo Customer Service so I can forward this email for further investigation? Thank you.

I am enjoying the new feature that allows me to expand emails to full screen using the arrow on the right. Is there a way to make this setting permanent? I find it tedious to click the arrow each time I return to my inbox. Additionally, I am struggling to locate where to create an email signature. I would appreciate it if Yahoo could guide me through these steps. The online "live chat" redirected me to a paid service, which I do not want. I would prefer Yahoo to contact me directly to assist. After being a user for over 30 years, I believe I deserve this help. As a 76-year-old, I find it challenging to keep up with online assistance and would much prefer speaking with someone. Thank you. Bob K.

I am experiencing issues with receiving, sending, or viewing my Yahoo emails across att.net, sbcglobal.net, and yahoo.com addresses. Since late July [redacted], none of my inboxes or disposable address folders have had any emails. I have tried switching between addresses, clearing cookies and cache, changing browsers, and reporting the problem to Support Specialists to no avail. Despite attempting the Quick Fix tool, there has been no improvement. I have not changed passwords as others reported it did not resolve the issue. The lack of communication and finger-pointing between companies is frustrating. I had to create a Gmail account to contact you. Thank you for your assistance.

Unfortunately, I have forgotten the password for my email account that I saved on my iPhone. This email is crucial as it holds important documents, like payslips, that I need. I am facing difficulty recovering it as the email is over 11 years old, and my recovery phone number is now assigned to someone else. I have tried reaching out to the person with my old number, with no success due to me being abroad. Additionally, I am unable to access my recovery email. Changing the password one last time would be immensely helpful. I have already contacted Yahoo customer service but have yet to find a solution. It is urgent that I regain access to my email account, as it is vital for me to continue using the same address. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

For the past four days, my Yahoo Mail has not been working properly. I cannot delete any emails, as none of the headings are highlighted. Only today's emails show up, and all emails from last week have disappeared. I urgently need to print important documents but feel completely stuck as customer support has not addressed my issue. I've left messages with incident numbers, one from yesterday [redacted] and another today [redacted], but have only received generic responses promising contact shortly. I am frustrated and unsure when this will be resolved, as I have over [redacted] new emails waiting. If this is not fixed promptly, I will cancel my Yahoo account and file complaints. I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address an issue with my Yahoo email account. Approximately five years ago, I inadvertently used my email, [redacted], as a recovery option for a friend's email account. Since then, whenever I send or receive emails, it displays the name "Vibhuti Dudhat" instead of my name, Dipak Vasani. I have tried to rectify this by changing settings within my Google account, but the problem persists. I value my privacy and would like to have my correct name displayed on my account. I have sought assistance without success, and I am reaching out to request your guidance on resolving this matter. I would appreciate any help you can provide to ensure that my account reflects my name accurately. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Dipak Vasani

I contributed to improving Yahoo's search engine and played a role in establishing Yahoo Answers in [redacted] and [redacted]. When assisting with Yahoo Answers' creation, I advised Yahoo through my cover letters for the Search Relevance Engineer positions, cautioning against using my ideas without compensation to avoid negative consequences. It seems my warnings have manifested over time. I believe Yahoo owes me a salary of at least $[redacted],[redacted] from [redacted] due to my contributions when the platform was highly successful globally. Please direct this message to the relevant payment decision-makers at Yahoo to acknowledge the debt. The payment should be made to Tien Lee at [redacted] S. Ardmore #[redacted], Los Angeles, CA [redacted], or contact me at [redacted] for confirmation of my involvement. Despite the presence of seasoned Stanford computer experts at Yahoo, I provided unique insights that benefited the company significantly.

On August 13, I accidentally deleted a lot of emails. I tried to restore them through Yahoo Mail within the 7-day limit, but after the initial restoration, they vanished again on their own. Despite multiple attempts to contact Yahoo support and make additional restore requests, the emails have not reappeared. This is causing an issue for a legal matter I am dealing with. I am puzzled as to why the emails disappeared after being briefly restored. I have checked all folders and filters with no success. The email address concerned is [redacted] Thank you for any assistance with this matter. -Johann V.
