Log into old account or start new account ... I have submitted * cases all related to the same issue. None of the responses have been helpful and they are automatically closed after they are responded to. I would rather speak to a live person via telephone if possible.*The root problem is that my very old Flickr account under rar**** has a primary email that is defunct, so when I try to sign in (i know the password) I get a *-factor auth code sent to the defunct email. I setup a new account under *****@***.com, but I can't log in to it because *****@***.com is also associated with the rar**** account. I get an error message telling me to either log into the rar**** account and remove *****@***.com OR remove *****@***.com from my current account. I cannot sign into rar**** to remove the email reference due to the *-factor authorization and I cannot remove *****@***.com from my current account. I can add a new email, but delete is not an option (perhaps because it is the primary address?)**I have submitted Case ********, ********, ******** and now ********. I have gotten what seem to be boilerplate replies that are not applicable to my issue. The last * responses were carbon copies of each other referring me to SmugMug for help even though my Flickr account has not been transitioned to SmugMug yet so login is still via Yahoo . Since the cases are immediately closed after each response, I cannot reply to the case to indicate my displeasure with the nonsensical responses.**This is very poor customer service and has wasted a lot of my time.
They keep referring me to SmugMug even though my Flickr account has not transitioned to SmugMug yet so Yahoo account processes still apply. Cases are immediately closed after they respond even though their response is not addressing the issue. There is not way to have *-way communication.
Ideally, I would like the content in my old account merged with my new account, but if that is not possible, I would be fine with them deleting my old account so that it doesn't conflict with my new account...than I can start from scratch. As it is, I cannot even access my new account.
I realize my Flickr account is very old, but I should be able to access it if I have the password (which I do)
My last option would be to set up a *rd account using a new email address, but then I would have to manage a whole other set of credentials.
