Hello, my name is Marie Mayka. I have an account with Yahoo under the email address [redacted] I recently spoke to a gentleman named Jordan Marshall regarding trouble accessing my account. He informed me that my account had been hacked by six people and instructed me to purchase a Google Play card for $[redacted]. After providing him with the card numbers, he asked for another $[redacted] card with its numbers. When I mentioned I couldn't afford another card, he assured me the money would be returned within five minutes, which didn't happen. I'm now left with only $45 in my account. I would like the funds returned and my Yahoo account closed.

I have an email address through sbcglobal.net. Recently, my account got hacked, and now it's connected to a gmail.com address set up by the hacker. I've tried getting it fixed with Geek Squad and AT&T, my server, but no success. The issue is that when people email me, they receive a rejection notice mentioning the gmail.com address, even though they emailed my sbcglobal.net account. Geek Squad suggested reaching out to you. They mentioned that if I had the password for the gmail.com account, it might be possible to resolve the problem, but I didn't create that account. This situation seems to be a scam of some sort. Can you assist me in resolving this matter?

Yahoo Mail has suddenly started blocking my husband's emails to me, even though he's in my address book and there's a filter rule set up to deliver his emails to my inbox. I don't understand why this is happening now when it has always worked before. How can I resolve this issue? Here is the error message he receives: This is a notification of delivery failure stating that an email he sent to my email address could not be delivered. The reason given is that the recipient email server rejected the message, with additional information pointing to a DNSBL issue. If you need to get in touch with me, please use the contact details provided.

I forgot my Yahoo email password over a year ago, but I do remember the answer to my security question. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the AOL.COM email linked to my account or the phone number on file. I'm unable to log in to my Yahoo Mail and would like to reset my password. I've been using Yahoo Mail for many years and need assistance with changing my password. Unfortunately, I don't have any phone numbers for Yahoo customer support.

I am attempting to regain access to an old email account to retrieve a code to reset a password linked to an EA account for Madden NFL 19. Unfortunately, I am unable to log into the email account to obtain the code. The phone number associated with the email for receiving a code is no longer active, making it impossible to receive the necessary information. There are no additional security measures in place for recovering the password. Any assistance in accessing this email account created over 10 years ago would be greatly appreciated. Email: [redacted] Password: (forgotten) Recovery # : 1[redacted] (not in service) The email was created by my mother, Christine Fryar, born on July 11, [redacted]. Your help in accessing the reset codes sent to this email would be of great help. Thank you, Vincent L.

Dear Forum Members, A few years back, I had an email account with Yahoo under the address [redacted] However, due to ongoing issues with the account, I made the decision to close it. Since then, I have not used or accessed this email address for several years. Today, on 29/12/18, my husband received an email from the same address mentioned above. He refrained from opening the message as it contained a suspicious link, considering I no longer use that account. I suspect that my old email address is now being fraudulently utilized. I attempted to regain access to the account, but it seems the password has been altered. For any responses or assistance, kindly send them to my current email address [redacted] Thank you for your attention, Wendy Thompson

I need help accessing my email account [redacted] because I forgot the password and the reset code is being sent to an old email I haven't used in years, [redacted] When I try to access the old email, I can't remember the security questions. I am experiencing difficulty accessing my mother's Yahoo account, which is linked to my PlayStation. Despite knowing the email and password, I am being prompted with a message stating suspicious activity. Yahoo is requesting verification through a phone number that is no longer in use. My mother has changed her phone number multiple times, making the current one invalid for the Yahoo account. Can someone assist me with resolving this issue? Thank you.

I am currently attempting to recover access to my account by updating the email associated with it, but I am encountering difficulties. Instead of allowing me to make the necessary changes, I am continuously redirected to a page prompting me to learn more about Facebook's account recovery process due to insufficient details provided to verify my identity. Several years ago, I created a Yahoo account, which I have not used in a long time. The issue I am facing now is that the Yahoo email is linked to my Facebook account, and I have forgotten the password. Consequently, I am unable to regain access to my Facebook profile, where I have cherished memories of my late boyfriend. I am reaching out to see if there is any way for your support team to assist me in resolving this matter, as my old account holds significant sentimental value to me due to the memories it contains. The email address associated with my Facebook account is [redacted]; however, I am unable to access this Yahoo account anymore. Your help in this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I am attempting to recover access to my Facebook account by adding a new email address, but I am unable to do so. When I try, I am redirected to a page prompting me to learn more about Facebook account recovery as it states there are not enough details to verify my identity. Several years ago, I created a Yahoo account that I used to set up my Facebook profile. Regrettably, I have forgotten the password for my Yahoo account, preventing me from accessing my Facebook account where I cherish precious memories of my now deceased boyfriend. The email linked to my Facebook is [redacted]; however, I am unable to retrieve emails from this Yahoo address. I am hoping for assistance in resolving this matter as my old account holds immense sentimental value because of my former boyfriend.

I'm having trouble receiving emails on my iPad, although it's working fine on my phone and computer. The iPad keeps saying the password is incorrect, but I'm using the same password on all devices. I spoke with an Apple advisor for 30 minutes who had me delete and reinstall the account, but I still can't access emails. He suggested I verify the mail settings with Yahoo: imap.mail.yahoo.com for incoming and smtp.mail.yahoo.com for outgoing. Can you confirm if these settings are correct or provide me with updated information? I appreciate your help as I try to resolve this issue with Apple. Thank you.

I received an email from my own email address, ravi.cs@rsoftsolutions. The email indicates that someone has gained access to my account and has been monitoring me. It mentions being infected with malware from an adult site visit, providing access to my screen, camera, microphone, contacts, and correspondence. The malware goes undetected by antivirus software. The sender threatens to share a compromising video unless a payment of $[redacted] is made to a bitcoin address, 1BPUUNghhuwQjDDvFd3TnJz2ato5dyDLr8, within 48 hours. The sender claims that attempts to trace the email or share its contents will result in immediate distribution of the video.

A fellow Yahoo User identified as "LONE" erroneously shared our private cell phone number on the Finance Message Board linked to the "CPST" Ticker account, causing possible harassment towards us. Despite our efforts to report this issue, Yahoo's support system seems unresponsive. We've initiated two separate cases, numbered Case: [redacted]0 and Case Number: [redacted]5, but no action has been taken. Clicking the "Report Message" option only hides it from our view, leaving the information visible to others on the board. This violates Yahoo's policy against sharing private information, yet the offending messages and user remain unchecked. Contacting Yahoo support via email on the Finance help page proved futile, leading to a frustrating loop that doesn't allow us to escalate the matter. We feel our privacy invaded and threatened by this situation, demanding urgent resolution from Yahoo.

I have encountered an issue updating my email account with Yahoo. I followed their instructions to add my mobile number, but was unable to do so because of multiple accounts linked to it over the years. How can I resolve this? Is it possible to delete or deactivate the old accounts that I no longer use? My mobile number has always been associated with my accounts. Thank you, Jase.

I have contacted Yahoo's help center multiple times regarding my original Yahoo email account that has been stolen and is now being used by someone in Mexico. I urgently need assistance with this issue as the email is crucial to me. I have had this Yahoo email for many years and it contains a lot of important information, contacts, and saved emails that I am unable to access anymore. It is frustrating that someone in Mexico has access to all of my personal data and correspondence. I am familiar with all my security questions and my recovery Gmail account, but I am unable to regain access to my email accounts or even my Facebook profiles because of this unauthorized access.
