I had the Yahoo app on my new phone which is [redacted] and it was working fine since January [redacted]. However, my phone crashed recently, and after resetting it, I tried to log back into the Yahoo app. Unfortunately, it prompted me for digits from an old number I no longer have since December [redacted]. I also tried logging in on my desktop, but received the same request. I can answer security questions and identify who emails me, though I don't send many emails. I'm having trouble with the security question regarding who I have emailed in the last 2 weeks. I received invites to ESPN Fantasy Football and an office football pool via email, but I'm unable to access my account. Please assist me.

I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo account because I forgot my password. I remember my old passwords, but all my recovery phone numbers are no longer in service, and my recovery email accounts are inaccessible as well. It seems like someone has changed my account information. I urgently need to access my Yahoo account as it contains very crucial data, including emails from a Gmail account, photos, numbers, voice recordings, and other irreplaceable personal information. If you need to verify my identity, I can provide unique details like frequent email senders and several emails I have sent or received. My Yahoo email address is [redacted] You can reach me at [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted] or [redacted] Thank you, Jamie M.

I'm facing issues logging into my Yahoo mail account ([redacted]). This isn't the first time I've encountered this problem. I was in contact with a Yahoo customer service representative last month when I had to unexpectedly go to the hospital. When I returned, the issue was marked as resolved, but in reality, it is not fixed. I am now unable to reach Yahoo via email as every message I send receives an automated reply stating that my case is closed. Initially, a customer service agent had set my recovery email as [redacted], but when I tried to use it post-hospitalization, it was no longer listed in my account information. Please re-add [redacted] as my recovery email so that I can regain access to my account. Currently, I am unable to log in because it prompts me to enter an account key sent via text, which I never receive. Despite multiple attempts, I have never received the account key on my mobile ([redacted]), so I request that the account key option for my phone be removed as it has never functioned. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo account. I know my email and password, but I can't access the recovery email to get the account key. I've had this account since I was 14 and really don't want to lose it. Can someone please help me figure out a way to access my account or change the recovery email? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I seem to have lost access to my contacts list on the enhanced mailbox feature. When I click on the contacts icon, it briefly shows the old mailbox setup and then displays a blank contact screen. Normally, I would see all my contacts and group lists here. I've tried using the Actions button, but it doesn't seem to work. Oddly, when I send an email to a contact or group, the distribution list populates correctly. This suggests that the contacts are there for sending emails but not visible for editing. How can I restore my contacts list? I need help with this issue.

Recently, when I type my son's nickname (Chip) in the "To" field of a new email on my OSX device, it changes to my name (THEODORE STANKO JR) with his email address. This doesn't happen on my iOS device, even though the contact information is the same. I tried deleting and re-entering his contact, but the issue persists. I use Firefox on my OSX device and checked all the browser preferences, but couldn't find a solution.

Hello, I am reaching out for assistance regarding my yahoo email account. The email address is [redacted], and I do have the password. I created this account a long time ago on my old phone and never logged out as it was linked to my personal number. Recently, I got a new phone, and while setting it up, the shopkeeper accidentally refreshed the phone without logging out of the email. Now, when I try to access my account on the new phone, it prompts me for a security key sent to my old number, which I no longer have access to as it has been changed. I now have a new number. I urgently need access to my account as I have important emails stored there. Please assist me. Thank you. You can contact me via messenger or at [redacted] I have been trying various ways to reach out, but I have not found the right solution yet, and English is not my strongest language. Thank you.

Hi Yahoo Support, I am writing to request assistance with accessing my Yahoo account. Recently, I lost my phone that had access to my account. After purchasing a new phone, I attempted to log in but was prompted to click on a key icon in my Yahoo mail on my old Samsung Note 8, which I no longer have. Unfortunately, I do not recall the phone number linked to my Yahoo mail. Regaining access to my account is crucial as I need to retrieve important information, especially related to my online banking. I await your prompt assistance in helping me regain access. Thank you.

Yesterday, I attempted to log into my email ([redacted]) but found that my longstanding password was not working. The email linked for my recovery information has been closed. It was associated with a friend I have lost touch with. I have important information and photos of my family on that account that I cannot afford to lose. I kindly request your help to update my recovery account details so I can regain access to my email. Thank you for your assistance. I want to note, I do not use Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media platforms, and I now have a new phone number.

I have been experiencing ongoing issues logging into my Yahoo email account. It has happened three or four times now. When I try to log in, my username is already in the login box. I click on it, then move to the password entry where my automatic password is displayed as dots. However, when I try to log in, I receive a message that my password and username do not match. I'm unable to reset my password as I don't know the answer to one security question. I called three weeks ago and a representative assisted me in getting into my account, but the underlying problems were not resolved. I have tried retrieving the passwords from my settings/passwords for this account but have had no luck. My husband and I recently switched our AT&T DSL line to Yahoo, and although my husband hasn't faced this issue, I continue to have trouble logging in. I would appreciate any help with resolving this matter.

Hello, I am attempting to retrieve my previous Yahoo account from several years ago, but I am unable to recall the password. During the recovery process, it prompts for a code from the connected phone number, which appears to be from a different country. Given that I have changed numbers multiple times over the years, I likely do not have access to the linked phone number. I am open to any alternative verification methods. I need to access this account to confirm my old Apple ID and my current Facebook account, as they both share the same email address: [redacted] I can fully access my Facebook account; I only require access to the Yahoo account to update my primary email on Facebook and to verify my old iCloud account. Thank you in advance, Caleb.

Andrea, who works in the tech department, was supposed to call me back this morning. I am having issues with my account ([redacted]) that was hacked into, but the problem is resolved now. However, I cannot access my account because my cell number ([redacted]) is no longer linked to it. I am unable to bypass the account key to use my password. I have important documents from my mortgage company, Mr. Cooper, that I need to sign to save my home. I have been experiencing difficulties with Yahoo all day Saturday. If I do not receive a prompt response, I will reach out to the BBB. I want to remove the account key and use my password as usual. Thank you. I've forgotten my Yahoo password and changed my phone number. I can access my account on my old phone using the saved password, but I can't log in via computer. Despite talking to a Yahoo representative who asked for $4.99 to update my phone number, I couldn't proceed. The Yahoo Help Center didn't solve my issue. I need assistance resolving this problem without additional charges.

I've forgotten my password for my email [redacted] I've repeatedly entered the additional two digits for my phone number [redacted]-[redacted]-([redacted]) to receive the verification code, but I've been waiting for over two weeks without receiving it. This email account is crucial as I have time-sensitive documents and changing to a new account is not an option due to impending deadlines. My banking, billing, schooling, professional, and all business accounts are linked to this address. I urgently need assistance with this password reset issue. I wish there were real people assisting at Yahoo instead of relying solely on technology. I've followed the process repeatedly but have not received the verification code via text to my phone. Any help with this password recovery problem would be greatly appreciated.

I've been experiencing issues sending Yahoo emails from my Blackberry phone for the past three weeks. While I could receive emails without a problem, I couldn't send any. Yesterday, on 9/14, I visited the Verizon store, as I'm a part of their network, and they removed my [redacted] account from my Blackberry. Unfortunately, they were unable to reinstall the Yahoo account on my Blackberry due to it stating that my password is invalid, which I know is not true. Before the malaga266 account was uninstalled, I could receive emails but not send them from my phone. Now, I can't access the malaga266 account at all on my phone. My other Yahoo account, [redacted], is still on my phone, and while I can receive emails, I can't reply or send new ones. I was hoping to reinstall the malaga266 account on my Blackberry so that I can send and receive emails from both accounts smoothly. Thank you for your assistance!

I'm experiencing difficulties accessing my original account, tazdad06706@yahoo, which contains essential documents from Mr. Cooper Mortgage. Unfortunately, my account was compromised due to my phone number, [redacted], being hacked. I've created a new account, tazdad06709@yahoo, for correspondence. I prefer to revert to using a password instead of an account key for security measures. The lack of prompt assistance has been frustrating, and I'm considering discontinuing my services with your company if this issue is not resolved quickly. It is critical to regain access to my account to secure my home. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am seeking assistance with a Yahoo user who is sending harassing emails. The emails are threatening and concerning. The sender's email addresses are [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] The content of the emails is intrusive and demands payment through Bitcoin to prevent a compromising video from being shared with all contacts. The sender claims to have gathered personal information and footage through a malicious software on a website. The message gives a deadline of one day to make the payment and threatens to share the video if not paid. The sender uses intimidating language to pressure the recipient into complying. It is unnerving and distressing to receive such messages.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my Yahoo account. I suspect it has been compromised as I received an email notifying me of unauthorized access attempts from a device I do not own (iPhone 7 Plus). Although I tried to recover my account using a 4-letter code sent to my phone, it did not resolve the issue. Ultimately, I successfully used the 4-letter code to regain access and changed my password. However, the following day, I encountered the same problem and no longer receive the 4-letter code on my phone. As a result, I am unable to access my email. Kindly assist me in resolving this matter by providing a code or resetting my password.

I need assistance retrieving some emails I accidentally deleted from my Yahoo.com email account in the last three days. However, I am struggling to find my Yahoo email account ID to proceed with the recovery process. Despite spending over an hour trying to locate it, I have had no success. Additionally, I am unable to install any apps on my cell phone. The emails I am looking to recover are all labeled "Weekly Activity Reports," which I require for tax purposes next year. I am reaching out for support in recovering these specific emails, but I must first retrieve my Yahoo mail account ID. I can log in to Yahoo mail, but the ID is necessary for email recovery. I can provide answers to any security questions if needed. Thank you.

Hello, I am Adam C., the owner of visualconcepts450[at]yahoo.com. I've had this account since I was between 18 to 21 years old, but now at 37, I'm struggling to access it. This older account holds important documents and pictures that I need to recover. Despite trying numerous passwords from the past, I can't seem to get through the verification process. I suspect the issue may be linked to my ex-girlfriend who had access to the account for work-related emails. Due to not having the phone number associated with the account anymore, recovering it has become challenging. Any assistance in recovering this account would be greatly appreciated, especially considering my previous head injuries. Thank you for your help.
