My Yahoo username is [redacted] I hadn't logged into my Yahoo mail account for about 6 years (since [redacted]) as I switched to Gmail. Recently, I discovered that I missed an important email sent to my Yahoo account. I logged in after recovering my forgotten password to check for other crucial emails from the past few years. Upon logging in, I noticed that my Inbox and all other folders were empty. None of the emails received before [redacted] (about 14 years' worth) were visible. I tested by sending a new email to my account but did not receive it, even when sending one from my Yahoo account to itself. The emails appeared in my Sent messages, but nothing arrived in the Inbox, and no errors were reported. Assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I've had [redacted] since my college years at WVU. I believe I created it in either [redacted] or [redacted] during my freshman or sophomore year. I've only used 2 or 3 passwords over the last decade. I can't log in now and I'm unable to contact you for help resetting it without being logged in. It's frustrating that security questions are not being asked. I no longer have access to the phone number [redacted] for text messages, now using [redacted]. Some of my security answers are related to my dog, elementary school, maiden name, and favorite place at WVU stadium. My passwords have been Daniel28, Noragrace0803, or Wonton444 for the past decade. I rely on this email for various apps, social media, games, and I can't access them.

Recently, I tried to download my Yahoo Messenger chat histories but faced difficulty accessing the file on my Windows 10 computer. The downloaded file seems to be full of gibberish and I cannot open it to view my old chats. I kindly request that my Messenger files be sent to me in a PDF format to make the content accessible for printing. My Yahoo Messenger ID is [redacted] It would be greatly appreciated if you could assist me with resolving this issue. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Terry Eickhoff from Ash Flat, Arkansas.

On August 11, [redacted], upon checking my inbox, I noticed that all emails and notes saved before 1:29 PM on that day were missing. These included personal and professional emails saved since October [redacted]. I attempted to recover them at 8:05 PM on the same day through the Yahoo mail restore team, but after waiting for more than 8 hours, the items remained missing. Despite encountering issues with Safari/Yahoo, I contacted the Yahoo Postmaster on August 12, [redacted], at 2:40 PM, receiving confirmation (#[redacted]6) but no resolution. I am unsure of the next steps and concerned that the items may be permanently lost if not recovered within 7 days. While I have experienced similar issues in the past, logging out and back in usually resolved the problem. These items hold sentimental value to me, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Robert Artzer

Dear Specialist, I have experienced multiple instances where my entire Inbox disappeared in the past, and upon logging out and back in, the emails returned. This was my usual expectation. However, on August 11, [redacted], my Inbox was empty from October [redacted] to August 10, [redacted], including crucial personal and professional emails and records totaling around [redacted]-[redacted] items. Despite contacting Yahoo Mail Restore Team on the same day, the items remained missing. On August 12, [redacted], I tried to reach out again but faced browser issues and received only a confirmation of receipt. These missing items are significant to me, and I understand that after 7 days, they may be irretrievable. With limited time and other commitments, I urgently seek your assistance in recovering these emails while also improving my storage practices. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Robert Artzer

Hello, I recently had my phone and ID stolen, and I am having trouble accessing my email account, [redacted], as well as my two previous phone numbers, [redacted] and [redacted]. When I try to log in to Yahoo Mail, there are three options to access my account. However, since my phone was stolen, I cannot use the phone detection option, and my old phone numbers are no longer in service. I do not have or remember a recovery email. I reached out to my previous service provider, but they couldn't assist me, so I am seeking help here. I hope you can help me regain access to my email account, as it contains important information. Thank you in advance. M.ADDI

I am having trouble logging into my Facebook account. I have been using the same Facebook account for 15 years and it holds many memories and pictures. I use an old Yahoo account with the address [redacted] The other day, when I tried logging in, I attempted to enter my password numerous times without success. I then tried to change my password, but I couldn't remember the password for my Yahoo account since it is very old. After finally changing my Yahoo password, I tried to update my Facebook password by requesting a reset code to be sent to my Yahoo account, but I never received it.

I registered my wife for a free customized football league on Yahoo Fantasy Football, but recently the Commissioner removed her team without a valid reason. He had tried to make trades with us, which we declined because we were happy with our chosen players. I suspect he removed her team to acquire those players. This behavior doesn't seem fair. His contact email is [redacted] The league is called NFL 18 or 19, and it's an eight-team custom league. I question why he removed her team from the league. Could it be due to her gender, implying she doesn't know enough about sports, or because she refused to trade her New England players? This action by the Commissioner seems inappropriate, and I request a resolution. We have had no contact with him apart from trade rejections. I trust you to investigate and address this issue promptly. I expect her team, the Buffalo Bills, to be reinstated in the league. Anything less would be unacceptable. If not resolved, I may consider taking action against Yahoo for allowing this behavior by the Commissioner. Providing direct phone support for users like us would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Karen and Jerry Penyin.

I forgot my Yahoo mail account password. After attempting to recover it using the account key with no success, I created a new email address and password. Now, I am struggling to recover my old messages and contacts. Even after receiving a code via SMS, I have been unsuccessful in accessing my old account. I tried various recovery options like entering my cell phone number, old email address, new email, and even my Gmail, but none have worked. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the answers to my verification questions. My old email is [redacted], while my new one is [redacted], which Yahoo does not recognize. I am eager to retrieve my old account with its contents. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Yahoo Support, I recently received an email to deactivate my account from an unfamiliar address. It prompted me to confirm the deactivation by clicking a link. As I did not initiate this request, I clicked on the option to cancel. However, it asked me to verify my email and provide my password. A 90-minute countdown began. I'm unsure if this is legitimate. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Eduard H.

I would like to delete my Flickr account, but I am unsure of the Yahoo login associated with it. I believe it may be [redacted] I attempted to use the Sign-in Helper, which requested to send a key to my outdated email [redacted], making it impossible to access. Despite trying to contact Yahoo, I am stuck in a loop of endless picture verifications with no success in speaking to a representative. It is frustrating not being able to access my own account due to an old Hotmail email issue, where resetting my Yahoo account becomes impossible. The lack of assistance on the website and the security information requirements are making this situation unreasonable and challenging.

I utilize Outlook [redacted] on my PC to organize messages into folders within a separate datafile for archiving purposes at year-end. However, I am encountering issues where Outlook does not receive emails when the option to keep a copy on the server is enabled. The specific error message I receive from Outlook states: "Receiving reporting error (0x[redacted]4): your email server does not have the features required for messages to be left on the server." Interestingly, when this checkbox is unchecked, my Outlook inbox on the PC does receive emails correctly, but then Yahoo webmail does not display the emails in the inbox and my phone Outlook app shows an empty inbox as well. To temporarily navigate around this issue, I have been maintaining the checkbox in Outlook [redacted] unchecked and making use of Yahoo mail on my phone for email access. My primary goal is to receive emails as I did in the past when AT&T was connected with Yahoo, while keeping my phone in sync with emails, calendar, and contacts through Outlook. Additionally, I aim to store emails in a .pst file for future reference and ensure all devices are synchronized seamlessly for efficient communication and data management.

I am currently using Outlook [redacted] on my PC and have encountered an issue with receiving emails when moving them to folders in a separate data file. The error message I receive from Outlook when attempting to access my Yahoo server states, "Receiving reporting error (0x[redacted]4): your email server does not have the features required for messages to be left on the server." When I check the box to keep a copy on the server, Outlook does not receive emails, but Yahoo webmail and my phone's Outlook app do. Conversely, when I uncheck the box, Outlook on my PC receives emails, but Yahoo webmail and my phone do not. To maintain synchronization between Outlook and Gmail for Calendar and Contacts, I now use Yahoo mail for emails on my phone. I am looking for a solution that allows me to retain emails in a .pst file, keep my phone in sync with Outlook for email, Calendar, and Contacts, and utilize Yahoo webmail on my PC while also receiving emails in Outlook.

After years of using Yahoo Mail, I've recently encountered several frustrating issues: 1) My email address is sometimes unrecognized. 2) I have to enter both my address and password every time I log in. 3) I've been abruptly disconnected with a message about my session timing out for "security reasons." 4) I couldn't access my emails for a few days. 5) Many of my usual subscriptions have stopped arriving in my inbox, and they are not in the junk mail folder. I received some emails purportedly from Yahoo, AT&T, and others requesting responses about my account to avoid service disruption. I treated them as phishing attempts and marked them as junk. Considering the problems that followed, I'm wondering if your email was legitimate. I could use some assistance as I'm 82 and not very experienced with computers. Regards, B. B.

Dear Customer Service, I have been using the email [redacted] for a long time. I am currently able to access it on my laptop; however, I encountered an issue with my phone. The phone number linked to my account was [redacted][redacted], but since I have relocated and changed my number, I no longer have access to it. This presents a problem as it is the only number associated with my account, and changing it requires verification through a text message sent to that number. After a factory reset on my phone, I lost access to it and am now only able to sign in on my laptop. To reset my password, I need the verification text sent to [redacted][redacted]. Could you kindly update my contact number to [redacted][redacted]? Thank you. Please send the same email to [redacted] as well. Thank you.

I received a message asking for my email address, recovery phone number, which I provided. The message said, "it does not look right," but it was correct, including [redacted]. My email is [redacted] with password Jj1128bk. As a retired medical doctor, I'm only familiar with email basics. Despite trying everything, I couldn't resolve the issue. Concerned about losing your service, I faced a message indicating potential unauthorized email use, which isn't the case. My two security code words are "hamburger" and "Plymouth." My contact numbers are [redacted] (no voicemail allowed) for HIPAA compliance and [redacted] with voicemail as Dr.Eisenbud. The situation worries me, not for myself but for children who benefited from prosthetics post-Haitian earthquake trauma. Losing access means losing crucial measurements for their care. Requesting straightforward steps to avoid service disruption, as handling the matter alone due to confidentiality constraints. Kindly refrain from repeated service loss notifications. I used to contact customer service for assistance but face this challenge now. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I am writing about my experience with Career Technical Institute in Washington D.C. In September [redacted], I noticed that my Yahoo account had been tampered with. As an online student, I suspect that the school accessed my information without permission. This situation has happened again around June 15, [redacted], where my conversations with teachers were breached. I believe Rebekka Bgdwadian, responsible for online classes, is involved possibly due to an ongoing investigation by Rehabilitation Services of D.C. I am requesting the return of my information and intend to inform the Department of Education and rehabilitation services. I am considering pressing charges for this intrusion. The specific dates of concern are March 5, [redacted], Jan 27, [redacted], and Feb 5, [redacted]. Additionally, I believe they have accessed Hughesnet Internet on my computer. There are personal relationships at play, including one between Rebekkah and Zsabria Stallings, which has complicated matters. I seek resolution and legal action to stop this recurring issue. Thank you, Thelma Watson Smith.

I've been trying to delete my Yahoo email for days without success due to the numerous spam emails I continually receive despite my attempts to block them. I followed the account termination process by signing in, entering my email and password, and hitting the button to delete the account, but each time I receive an error message saying "Uh oh, looks like something went wrong. Please try again later." I have already emptied all folders in the account. I am frustrated with the lack of progress in closing this email account and the absence of clear contact information for assistance. Can anyone help with this issue?
