A few months ago, I deactivated my Yahoo email account: [redacted] Today, I tried to reactivate the same account, but Yahoo activated a very old email account ([redacted]) instead of the one I wanted to restore. I need help to reactivate my most recent Yahoo email account, [redacted], as intended. Sabita M.

Hello. Three months ago, my account was hacked, and the hacker changed both my password and the associated phone number attached to the account. I am unable to log in because the system sends a code to the mobile number that the hacker linked to my account. This same person also hacked my Facebook account, and now I use my Yahoo account to access Facebook. However, when I try to change the password for Facebook, all notifications are sent to my Yahoo account that I can no longer access. I request assistance in recovering my account from this hacker. I am willing to provide any necessary information to help with this issue. Thank you.

My ex-husband has been hacking into my accounts. He closed my [redacted] account after I downloaded files he accessed using my identity on Yahoo Messenger and Skype. I need access to this account's contents to give to Ryan Phelps at Kendall County State's Attorney to press charges. He also used my account to message an internet site called Avvo and listed his old and new VPN numbers. Please help me retrieve the files so I can provide them to the Oswego, IL police and Attorney Phelps in Kendall County. My phone number is [redacted], and Ryan Phelps can be reached at [redacted]. There is information in the account for a possible warrant. Additionally, he linked my phone to my old Yahoo account, [redacted], which he had hijacked in the past. I can now access the old Yahoo account, which has someone else's name on it and is connected through his VPN. He also tampered with my Hotmail account. He has obtained another internet service at [redacted] S. Kedzie Chicago, IL [redacted]. Thank you for your help.

Hello, My name is Claudia Timofte. I recently created this new Yahoo account due to a serious issue with my previous account, which I have been using for 5 years. Unfortunately, I have not been able to access it for almost two months now. Despite trying to recover it using the email or phone number linked to the account, both options are deemed "invalid" or "not recognized." I have important information and contacts saved in that email address ([redacted]), and this issue has even hindered my access to my Facebook account on my computer. I have not found any helpful information on the Help page. I appreciate your assistance in helping me regain access to my account. Thank you for your prompt attention.

I am reaching out for assistance with my Yahoo account, [redacted] Today, when attempting to login, I discovered that I have forgotten both my password and the answers to my Security Questions. It seems I may not have answered them correctly during the account setup in [redacted]/[redacted] due to my limited English proficiency at the time. The account was linked to the mobile number +[redacted]6, which I then shared with my mother, Galoiu Ioana ([redacted]), a few years ago. I am seeking help in resetting the password for my Yahoo account as I urgently need to retrieve an important email dated July 30, [redacted]. I can offer additional proof to verify my ownership of the account, such as the email being linked to my active Facebook account and providing legal documents bearing my full name and photo. I am available for any further questions to help resolve this issue promptly. Best regards, Galoiu Alexandru

My Yahoo account, [redacted], has been compromised, and now it's [redacted] I can't recover it using my password or phone number. The recovery process asks for two numbers in a format starting with 1** with the country code +61. I hope to regain access to my Yahoo account, but I understand if I don't receive a response since Yahoo isn't known for being responsive to users. If I can't recover the account, please delete it; I'll stick with my Gmail account. Unfortunately, my compromised Yahoo account contains many private emails and manages several Yahoo groups.

Hello, I have been unable to access my Yahoo account for the past year. While I was in Cuba, I lost access to my cell number due to being abroad, making it impossible to recover my account. This account is crucial to me because it is linked to my Facebook and Instagram, and holds most of my contacts. Although I have shifted to using Gmail, I am eager to regain access to my Yahoo account before it gets deactivated. Unfortunately, the two recovery methods provided by Yahoo, through my old cell number +[redacted] and the backup account, are not feasible options for me. My old cell number was reassigned by the network provider, and my backup account user does not remember their Yahoo password anymore. I am frustrated with the limited options provided by Yahoo and am in dire need of assistance to restore access to my account. I wish I could simply log in with my password as I used to. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello. My account was closed because I shared the password with my son to allow him to access some necessary items. I originally opened the account in Ecuador many years ago and have since lived in various locations. Unfortunately, my son changed the password without informing me, leading to me being unable to access the account. I have tried to recover it, but I am facing challenges as they require verification through an old email or phone number from when I set up the account in Ecuador, which I no longer have access to. I urgently need to regain access to my account as there are important items stored there. I can provide my previous long-standing password and answers to security questions, but I do not have the new password as my son cannot recall it. I understand the situation may seem frustrating, but I sincerely request assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you.

I recently encountered issues logging into my Yahoo mail account. Initially, my password was incorrect and upon retrying, I managed to get in. However, I faced trouble with a security question that I couldn't recall due to not using the account regularly. Each attempt to use my recovery number failed as Yahoo didn't recognize it, resulting in my account being locked for security. Though it has been unlocked, I still can't access it as I need to verify with the forgotten security questions and no longer have access to the original number. This situation is urgent because I am awaiting an email related to my US visa application. Please reach out if more information is required.

I have been using Yahoo mail since [redacted]. Over the past decade, I have moved between Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Dubai for work. Currently, I am back in Sri Lanka. However, I am unable to access my Yahoo mail as it requires a verification code sent to my Dubai mobile number, which I no longer have access to. The recovery email linked to the account belongs to a former Indian colleague from my time in Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances such as an accident during my vacation in Sri Lanka preventing my return to Dubai, I have been unable to make loan payments for the last three months. I urgently need to access my email to receive legal notices and communicate with the appropriate department to avoid potential consequences in Dubai. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter. Details: Yahoo mail ID: [redacted] Password: aas/[redacted] Recovery email: [redacted] (No access) Registered mobile number: [redacted][redacted] (No access) If further information is required, please let me know. Thank you. Best regards, Gayan

I am attempting to access an old account that I created when I was 12 years old. I am now 18 years old. The account is a Microsoft one linked to the email "[redacted]" I remember the password for this email, but there seems to be some suspicious activity, leading to additional verification measures. My only recovery option is another Yahoo email, "[redacted]," for which I also remember the password. However, it prompts me to verify my identity again and suggests recovering the account using an email address that belonged to my late mother, making it inaccessible. The email "[redacted]" was my first email when I was approximately 9 years old. I am unsure how to proceed with recovering access to my old account now.

Good evening. On July 8, [redacted], my Yahoo account ([redacted]) was compromised and used to take control of my Facebook account. Realizing the connection, I attempted to change the primary email on Facebook but was unsuccessful. Efforts to reset the Yahoo password failed as the hacker had already changed it. The phone number linked to the Facebook account is [redacted]4. I have reached out to Yahoo via Twitter (@keonmainor) to establish ownership and have evidence of text messages from the individual. Please advise on the steps necessary to reclaim my account. Thank you.

Hello Yahoo team, I am experiencing difficulty logging into my account because I have forgotten my password. Despite trying the password reset option and correctly providing my recovery phone number, I have not received the account key for weeks. Unfortunately, I lost my phone last Friday. When following the steps on Yahoo Help and clicking on 'can't access phone,' I keep receiving the message "ooh! can't access your account online start over." I am unable to resolve this issue on my own and would appreciate your assistance.

I am having difficulties getting my business listed on Yahoo for free. Despite providing YEXT with four different documents proving ownership, they keep rejecting my submission in an attempt to get me to buy their services. When I contacted the company that handles listings, they were unhelpful and insisted I purchase their $[redacted] service for assistance with a free listing. I am frustrated with this situation and have requested numerous callbacks to resolve the issue, but no one has reached out to me. I am reaching out here for assistance. I can be reached at [redacted] (cell) to discuss this matter further. Thank you, C. Rice

Hello! I am seeking assistance as I have forgotten the password for my Yahoo account, "[redacted]," and have also changed my associated phone number. Currently, I can access my Yahoo account through the mobile app, but I will lose access when I replace my mobile phone. Can you help me reset my password without using an alternate email or phone number? It would be greatly appreciated if you could send a password reset link to my email, "[redacted]," since I can still send and receive emails through the Yahoo mobile app. Maintaining access to my email is crucial, so any support in this matter would be significant. I am willing to provide any necessary information to verify ownership of the account. Thank you very much.

I am facing an issue with Yahoo Mail Help not recognizing my Yahoo Mail ID. Despite being logged in with my Yahoo Mail address, I am unable to proceed with the online help process. Recently, Yahoo Mail has been rejecting emails from known contacts to our non-profit email addresses. We suspect an MX issue, but the customer service representatives in India are unable to assist us as we cannot answer their security questions. We took over managing this process and lack access to all the necessary information, such as the credit card linked to the account being compromised. We simply seek to speak to a knowledgeable individual who is able to address the MX issues and ensure our business contacts can reach us via email smoothly.

Hello, I recently received an email from Yahoo Small Business regarding our domain "SHAKRIS.COM" that is hosted by Abbaco c/o Yahoo. I am currently traveling in Asia until November and am unable to verify the domain status. The email states that Yahoo is ending its relationship with Network Solutions and if our domain is registered through them, we need to take action to maintain ownership by October 31, [redacted]. I am having trouble signing in to Yahoo support from overseas due to password and robot verification issues. The options provided include transferring the domain to another registrar or managing it with Network Solutions directly. I need assistance on how to proceed while abroad to ensure the domain remains active. Thank you, S.

For 15 years, I had a merged email account through Yahoo and ATT with no issues. However, since 7/26/[redacted], I have been unable to access it. When I try to log in, the server stops the process or loops between entering my user ID and password. I can access my mom's subaccount without any problems. I need to regain access to my email account as I am currently rerouting emails to my Gmail. The emails do not appear in my ATT account, so they must be in Yahoo. Please reach out to me at [redacted] I have attempted various solutions like using different browsers and devices, but the problem persists. Suggestions to create a new account with Yahoo do not make sense to me. I am incredibly frustrated and hope for assistance. The automated "fixed" status is incorrect; the issue remains unresolved. - Tessie D.
