During my time at the Inpatient Rehab facility, my cell phone was stolen. The individual who took it changed the passwords to my Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Facebook, and Online Banking App. Unfortunately, my Yahoo Mail Account was set up to use an Account Key that was saved in a notebook app on the stolen phone. As a result, I am unable to retrieve my login passwords or Account Key because I cannot access the recovery emails and my phone number has changed. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue. Hello. I have an email account, [redacted], which is currently linked to my old phone number [redacted]. I no longer have that phone and have a new number now. I am unable to link my email to my new devices because the security checks are still tied to my old phone number. I only have access to my iPhone and iPad, as I don't have a desktop. I created a new email, [redacted], as an alternative way to contact me. I need to update my account with the new phone number to link my devices. How can I resolve this issue efficiently?

I created an email account for my son Orion when he was 16 months old, so our family and friends could send him messages and photos. Today, I attempted to log in but received an error stating the email address was not recognized. An email I sent to him bounced back, mentioning the account was deactivated. Despite double-checking the email, I kept encountering the same issue. Trying to create a new account resulted in a message that the email was already in use. I also attempted the account recovery process using my email address, but this was unsuccessful. I am eager for the account to be reactivated so Orion can enjoy reading his emails as he grows. Best regards, Richard Stobbs

I'm experiencing difficulties accessing my Yahoo account. The recovery information on the account has outdated phone numbers and an email address from SBC Global that I can't access. I primarily use Gmail, but my Facebook is linked to the Yahoo email, which I only recently realized after a decade. I've tried to reset my password, but I can't remember it. The recovery options are no help as I don't recognize the phone numbers or have access to the old email. My Yahoo email is [redacted], and I believe I've entered the correct password. However, the recovery process is challenging due to the outdated information. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

My mother is having trouble accessing her Yahoo mail. When we try to log in, it asks for the account key, but she can't receive it because the email listed is the one she can't access. The phone number for the account key is incorrect, it should be [redacted]. Her email is [redacted] Can you send the account key to the correct phone number and also to my email at [redacted]? Thank you.

I received what I believe is a fraudulent email from someone claiming to be from Lyft. The email stated that my account would be deactivated, but I did not request this. The email was sent from an address that does not seem legitimate ([redacted]) and claimed to be from Yahoo. I want to clarify that I did not request any deactivation, and I believe this may be a scam. I wanted to inform you about this issue and seek assistance in understanding the authenticity of this email.

I have been using an old Facebook account without any problems until the other night when I got logged out. It asked for my password to log back in, but then requested an SMS or email with an authorization code that never arrived. The issue is my Facebook account is linked to a Yahoo email that I no longer have access to. Now, I see there are three accounts associated with my name, with ten that I did not create. I want to delete the extra accounts and recover my old one. I contacted Facebook's help desk and provided my driver's license as requested, but I am still unable to use my account due to photo review. I sent the necessary photos yesterday morning. Can anyone assist me?

I removed my Yahoo email account from my iPhone 7 to free up space, but I still access it on my laptop through an account key. I tried to find a way to switch from the account key to a password to access my Yahoo email, but I couldn't. The issue is my recovery email listed as [redacted] instead of the correct [redacted] Since the system doesn't recognize me, I can't update it. Additionally, when I tried to add my mobile number as a recovery option, it says it's already linked to the account. Therefore, I'm locked out of my Yahoo email on my laptop and feeling very frustrated. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have an old Facebook account linked to [redacted] that I’ve used for years. I got logged out and when I tried to log back in, it asked for an SMS or email verification to [redacted] I noticed two new accounts linked to [redacted] that I didn’t create. I submitted my ID to Facebook for verification a day and a half ago but haven’t heard back. I'm frustrated as I can't reach Facebook customer service by phone and my login attempts are unsuccessful. I just want to delete the new accounts and regain access to my old account, but I keep getting an error message asking for an authorization code. I’m patiently waiting for the code to be sent to my Yahoo email. It's been over 24 hours of dealing with this issue.

I had to be away for a while due to personal reasons, and during that time, I set up a Gmail account to save my contacts from my cell phone. Now, I am unable to access my Yahoo account where I have several applications linked. Because of a new cell phone number, Yahoo is not allowing me to reset my password. I am perplexed by the issue as my Gmail account uses all lowercase letters. Despite trying to log in from a different device, I am still unable to access my Yahoo account. Currently, I only have the applications on my phone and urgently need to regain access to my account to retrieve important items. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I have a client who was using Foxmail with their Yahoo account but is now unable to log in due to a password credential issue. The client is repeatedly prompted to enter their password. I then tried setting up Outlook with the same Yahoo account, but encountered the same problem. This setup had been working without issues until midday on 7/18/18. After researching, I discovered that the user might need to enable the "Allow apps that use less secure sign-in" feature in Yahoo's security settings. However, this option is not visible in her settings, unlike in mine. I am investigating why it is not showing in her Yahoo settings when accessed through her browser. Is there another problem we should address so she can access her Yahoo mail through the Foxmail Client or Outlook? Thank you. Best, Dick M.

A few weeks ago, I encountered difficulty accessing my account [redacted] I received an error message stating "account not recognised." Despite my efforts to set up a recovery phone number, the verification code provided by Yahoo was not accepted. Additionally, I suspect my linked recovery email, [redacted], is outdated and inaccessible. I have made multiple attempts using the Sign-In Helper tool without success. Contacting Yahoo has proven futile, with one response acknowledging their busy schedule and advising me to reply if still facing issues. Upon doing so, my case was unexpectedly closed. Subsequent emails went unanswered, leaving me struggling to reach their support team. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Catherine

I am assisting a client who previously used Foxmail with their Yahoo account. However, they are now experiencing issues with their password not being accepted. Even after attempting to use Outlook instead, the problem persists. I discovered a potential solution involving adjusting the security settings on Yahoo to enable "Allow apps that use less secure sign-in." Surprisingly, this option is not visible in my client's account settings, though it is present in mine. I am investigating why this setting is missing in her Yahoo account accessed via her browser. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or knows of another resolution to enable my client to access their Yahoo mail via Foxmail or Outlook, your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In [redacted], I created a Yahoo account to sign up for Facebook. Recently, I had trouble accessing Facebook as it was not accepting my password. When attempting to reset it, Yahoo prompts me to use an old password, which I cannot recall since this account was created years ago and the recovery phone number is also forgotten. Yahoo's format for phone numbers seems off, displayed as **** *** --** with unfamiliar digits. How can I retrieve my account password from Yahoo under these circumstances?

My Yahoo email account has been hacked by what seems to be a Romanian source. I clicked on an email I believed to be legitimate, then was prompted to sign in again even though I was already logged in. I was shown a foreign beer ad and realized something was wrong. Despite having two-step authentication and checking account activity, no unusual behavior was found. I ran various virus and malware scans using Norton Security Suite, Glary, Malware Hunter, Advanced System Care, Iobit, Gridnsoft, and Kapersky Rootkit which all came back clean. I even tried on a different computer with the same issue. Surprisingly, I could access my email on my Android phone. Both my Windows 10 computers are up to date with security software, scans, and backups in place. It seems my Yahoo email has been compromised and I'm seeking assistance.
