I received the following email and would like to know what steps to take: Subject: Urgent Action Required Dear Desiree Adams Daniels, Recently, your device was compromised by malware while you were browsing adult content online, making your Internet browser vulnerable. This malware has been logging your device activities, collecting sensitive data such as cookies from the websites you visit. What's more, it can activate your webcam and access your email contacts. I have gained access to your email and social media accounts, and I possess videos and photos of you in compromising positions. To prevent this information from being shared with your contacts, a payment of [redacted] USD in BTC to my Bitcoin address 1No2HpxHU8nQ9MUGN8LZ2M1n5Pw7MkJWFk is required within 23 hours of receiving this message. Once the payment is confirmed, I will delete all the collected data and you will not hear from me again. Please refrain from responding to this email as I will not have access to this inbox thereafter. Thank you.

I received an email from Microsoft OneDrive stating that my account, [redacted], will be deleted on 6/3/[redacted] due to inactivity, which is incorrect since I use it daily. The email requested me to reactivate my account on OneDrive, but I encountered issues as I don't have a Microsoft account password. The email also mentioned it was sent from an unmonitored mailbox, adding to my confusion. When trying to sign in, my password didn't work, and after resetting it, the account now shows under my name, Rebecca Trueb, instead of my husband's, Ed Trueb. I am 75 years old and caring for my 77-year-old husband with vascular dementia, making it challenging to navigate these tech issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, RT.

Every time I attempt to forward an email and add a message, the page keeps jumping back to the original email at the top, causing extreme frustration. This issue occurs repeatedly, making it nearly impossible to type a message efficiently. After struggling for about 20 minutes, I can eventually send the email after numerous failed attempts. This problem is new and never occurred before. I simply want to forward emails and add messages without experiencing these annoying glitches and delays. It seems like a recent problem, and I am unsure if it's a setting or update issue. It is driving me crazy!

I am having issues accessing my email account connected to Account Recovery via Outlook. Despite attempting to recover or reset the password following all the necessary steps, I am still unable to access my emails or prevent them from being redirected to the Recovery Account. It seems that important documents may have been sent to the Recovery address, and I urgently need to retrieve them. Although I do not remember setting up a Recovery account, my friends have informed me that when they type in my name, the Outlook Recovery Address appears instead of my actual Yahoo address, causing confusion.

I am encountering two issues with my Yahoo account. Firstly, I am unable to access my old account, [redacted], as I have forgotten the password. There is crucial information within that account that I need access to. Secondly, a recent account of mine is linked to a phone number I no longer possess, making it impossible to receive the recovery code needed to reset my password. I am also unsure about my user ID format but believe it should be my first and last name followed by a number at yahoo.com, like Jermainespence#@yahoo.com. I am uncertain if I provided a recovery email. If not, please contact me at [redacted] I hope this explanation clarifies my predicament. If further clarification is necessary, please let me know promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

My email is [redacted] I do not have the phone number linked to this email and I cannot remember the password. Previously, this email was connected to my Gmail account, [redacted], but for some reason, they are no longer linked. I need assistance in recovering the password for my Yahoo account so I can link it back to my Gmail. The name on the Yahoo account is Carnell Allen. Please reach out to me via email at the Gmail address provided below for help with this matter.

I've recently set up a website for my husband, Sonny Curtis. Unfortunately, his email account has been suspended, and despite my efforts to reach out to Yahoo Small Business for assistance in updating the payment method, I have not received a response. The email associated with the account, [redacted], is no longer active. My email is [redacted], but I'm unable to change the email linked to the website. I urgently need access to www.sonnycurtis.net to make crucial updates as Sonny is no longer able to due to his Alzheimer's. His musical legacy, having played with George Jones and Tammy Wynette, is very important to us. I am worried that the website may be taken down if I cannot resolve this issue promptly. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Barbara Curtis

I have an email address at [redacted] that I used a long time ago. I can't remember the password for it. I would like to close this email account permanently so that it no longer exists. If there's a recovery email, it might be my ex-husband's email, which is linked to Manish Darira. I am not in contact with him anymore due to our divorce. Please ensure that no notifications are sent to his email or allow him access to mine. I created this email account before [redacted] with my birthdate as 24th February [redacted] using the phone number [redacted], which I no longer have. I suspect my ex-husband may have tampered with the account after our marriage in [redacted]. I am not tech-savvy and believe he may have made changes or hacked into it. Please close and delete my [redacted] email account permanently to protect me. Thank you, Kanika.

Good evening. When I registered my account [redacted], I mistakenly entered the incorporation date of the Corporation of Andean Colombian Music Songwriters - Cantandina, the entity of which I am the legal representative and manage communications through this account. The date entered was April 2, [redacted]. Yahoo's system has been asking me for days if that date was correct, and I always indicated "yes." Today, this account appeared blocked as if it were not registered. I fear Yahoo may have suspended it for appearing as an underage user. This account holds valuable and irreplaceable information about the corporation, and I need to regain access to it. I appreciate your assistance in allowing me to correct this error and recover the account and its contents. Thank you very much.

A recent privacy update seems to have disrupted the syncing of my devices with my accounts. Currently deployed, I am facing issues with resetting my password as my primary phone number is inactive, and the secondary email linked to my account is outdated due to an update by the army. Despite attempting to update it in my Yahoo settings, the changes were not saved. Consequently, I am unable to reset my email password, which is critical for receiving bills and updates from home, as well as for managing password resets for various services. Disheartened by this experience, I am contemplating moving away from Yahoo services due to this inconvenience. I intend to resolve this password issue but will be seeking alternatives to Yahoo in the future.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are in urgent need of assistance regarding the matter mentioned above. If this is not within your area of expertise, kindly provide an email address for further inquiries. Our union has been utilizing the email account "[redacted]" with an error in the date of birth provided, dating back to the establishment of the union in [redacted]. Regrettably, the account has been deactivated, possibly due to the oversight of not updating the birth date to avoid being characterized as an under-16 user. Firstly, is there a possibility to reactivate the account? Secondly, may we use the same name for a new account? Lastly, if the aforementioned options are not feasible, can all emails and history from the "[redacted]" mail be transferred to a newly created email "[redacted]," to retain the vital historical emails for our union?

I receive around 10 emails a day from "[redacted]" stating that my messages weren't delivered. I rarely send emails, so it's not from me! I have over [redacted] emails to go through now and it's becoming too much. If this isn't fixed, I'll switch to Gmail. I have no clue why this is happening or how to solve it. It has been happening for about 2 weeks, and I can't handle this daily hassle. If this persists, I might have to switch from Yahoo, which is inconvenient because I get most of my bills on [redacted] Thank you for addressing this promptly. Vicki

I recently received an email that I need to verify with Yahoo before proceeding. The email subject is "***Closing Your Yahoo Mail Account (Do Not Ignore)***" and claims that my account has been blacklisted due to verification failure. It instructs me to verify my account to prevent it from being shut down. It is signed as "Account Services, Yahoo Mail Team" and includes a copyright statement dated Oct [redacted]. The email mentions a case number and account security. I wanted to confirm if this message is genuinely from Yahoo before taking any action.

Hi Yahoo Customer Support, I hope this email reaches a Yahoo employee who can assist me. I have been using the Yahoo email address [redacted] for as long as I can remember. About a year ago, I enabled the Account Key feature for login to my phone number ([redacted][redacted]) instead of using a password. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that phone number or a recovery email. As a result, I am unable to access my email, and it is crucial for me to recover it. I have created a new email address ([redacted]) with additional information to help verify my ownership of the original account. Please advise on the information required to assist in recovering my email account. Thank you, Ana Maria Spasovska

I am a citizen of Sri Lanka. In [redacted], I stayed in Brisbane, Australia for a year visiting my daughter. During my time in Australia, I utilized a Lycamobile service with the number +[redacted]5, which I also linked to my email account for verification purposes. I am currently facing an issue accessing my emails as Yahoo requires a code sent to the Australian mobile number for verification, and I do not have international roaming services. Since I am now in Sri Lanka with the sim card, I am unable to receive this code to access my Yahoo account. There are crucial emails in my Inbox that I urgently need to retrieve. My contact number in Sri Lanka is +[redacted]2. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter promptly, as I still plan to return to Australia in [redacted] and have kept my Australian mobile number active. Thank you for your help.
