Hello, I am interested in buying a new Xbox Series X for my 10-year-old's birthday next week. He really wants this console. I know an old school friend who has one sealed but the receipt is an email receipt with personal information on it, so he could send it to me. Would I still be covered under warranty without a purchase receipt? I don't want to waste £[redacted] and have a very unhappy birthday boy. Thank you in advance. Yes, I am female and not very good with these things.

Please review Service Request #: [redacted]. There was a persistent issue with my son's Microsoft account, unresolved after a month of waiting for assistance from Microsoft. I had to seek help from an external technician to resolve the issue as my son couldn't access his Xbox Live account for over 6 weeks. There should have been a refund for at least one month of Xbox Live service due to the problem being flagged on the account initially. Surprisingly, when I requested the refund separately, it was rejected, despite prior acknowledgment. It's frustrating not being able to connect with a live person for support. We are seeking the refund for the period during which my son was unable to use Xbox Live, caused by an issue on Microsoft's end.

I am experiencing an issue with my Microsoft account, [redacted], associated with the user tag Davidcuh26 on Xbox [redacted]. Due to my high school deactivating the email address, I need to update it to [redacted] while retaining all other account details intact. I have a consistent purchase history under the same name and address, and I plan to continue buying digital games on the underrated Xbox [redacted] system. I understand the need for verification and am willing to provide any additional personal information if necessary to regain access to my well-maintained account. I appreciate your assistance and time in helping me resolve this issue.

I need to report credit card fraud on my debit card from one of your users. The user's online ID is i1up Riddler and the email linked to the account is [redacted] This individual made unauthorized charges totaling over $[redacted] dating back to August [redacted] using my stolen debit card. I have evidence in the form of pictures to support my claim of fraud. I am requesting a complete refund and recommending that this user be banned from using Xbox to prevent future occurrences of this nature.

I tried to purchase Far Cry 5, but encountered an error during the transaction. I attempted to buy the game again, which went through successfully, but I noticed that I was double-charged on my bank account. I received a refund for one payment, but the other transaction seems to be missing, even though I own the game. However, when I try to play it, it prompts me to purchase it again.

I noticed that my credit card was recently charged for another year of Xbox Live today. Although I had set up recurring billing, I no longer own an Xbox system, leading me to forget to cancel the subscription. I am in search of assistance in canceling the current subscription recently charged and obtaining a refund since it has been less than 24 hours. Any guidance on this matter would be greatly valued.

My seven-year-old accidentally made unauthorized charges on my card while playing Fortnite. I typically have passwords set up for purchases, but Xbox requires payment permission for certain games, even free ones. Yesterday, he spent $[redacted], and I've returned items totaling $40. I'm seeking a refund for the remaining amount. Please reach out to me before the end of the day. You can contact me at [redacted].

I was banned from using my mic, which I understand, but not being able to play with my friends is too much. This experience makes me not want to use Xbox again. I will share my thoughts on social media to show how poorly this was handled.

Good morning, my name is Sebastián O. Yesterday, a financial company scammed me. They asked me to buy 16 Xbox gift cards for £25 each to secure a loan, but I was robbed. Can you assist me in blocking the gift cards and recovering some of my money? Thank you.

I am encountering trouble with my account being locked due to suspicious activity after attempting to log in on my girlfriend's Xbox instead of my own. Despite entering the correct phone number for the verification code, I have not received it yet. I have attempted to recover my account but the system prompts that I haven't provided enough information, even though I filled out everything I could. It has been five days of unsuccessful attempts to resolve this through your applications, and I am frustrated. I believe I have followed all the correct steps and need my account back. This account has been with me since high school, and I have invested a significant amount of money into it. Attempts to contact customer service have been unsuccessful as the number provided seems unavailable, and when trying to resolve the issue through the website, it continuously requests refresh. I am looking for a solution to this ongoing problem.

I am attempting to download a game on my Xbox One console. The installation process repeatedly halts and does not restart. I have attempted to cancel and reinstall the game, held down the power button on my Xbox One for 10 seconds, ensured enough space is available for the download, and power cycled my router. This specific game, which is a free-to-play title that I already possess, is the only one experiencing installation issues.

I recently received a ban for using a "G" rated picture that matched my gamertag, which I believe is the reason for my suspension. The standards for this action are unclear to me. I am active in a server with friends and even manage my own (which I finance). It's possible that someone reported me out of spite during a game. This experience has led me to consider purchasing a PS5 and selling my Xbox One. I've faced a negative gaming environment on Xbox Live due to toxic players, forcing me to quit games and servers, hence my decision to host my own. Despite these issues, I have never lodged a complaint with Microsoft or Xbox Live. I'm concerned about retaining a long-term customer like myself. If Xbox and Microsoft wish to prevent me from switching to Sony, they need to reconsider their approach to minor suspensions over custom pictures. It seems counterintuitive to lose customers over such matters. Thank you, G. R.

I originally set up my Xbox [redacted] account with a hotmail.com email. Somehow, it got changed to a hotmail.co email on the system, and I couldn't access my account because I didn't create that address. After speaking with a Microsoft associate, I tried creating three new emails for my account, but they didn't work with my original gamer tag, creating three new gamer tags instead. Eventually, a friend suggested their email, which the Microsoft technician used to change on my Xbox account successfully. However, it's a temporary solution, and I want to replace it with my own without removing their email. This issue has persisted for over 2 years despite speaking to three different Microsoft technicians.

I purchased the new Cyberpunk game without realizing it was a digital version. My intention was to gift it to someone, but I don't have a compatible device to install it. I made the purchase through Microsoft, and my order number is [redacted]. How can I ensure the person receives the gift and can download the game? Is it possible to convert my order to a physical copy, or can I request a refund instead?

My son ended up in a troublesome gaming lobby yesterday due to an altercation with other players on GTA 5. The other players were using cheats, such as shooting through buildings and having invulnerable armored vehicles. My son received a two-month punishment for trying to protect lower-level players from being killed. I am seeking Rockstar's contact number because I believe he is being unfairly targeted. Furthermore, the in-game character my son is using has a questionable outfit resembling a white suit, reminiscent of a group from the 1950s, which is not appropriate. I am frustrated with the repeated mistreatment he faces; previously, he was in a similar lobby for 12 days, and now he has been placed there for an additional 13 days. When I contacted Xbox about the previous incident, it was resolved. My son has disabilities that impact his ability to communicate, read, and count. Despite spending a significant amount on in-game purchases, it is disappointing to see the way Rockstar is handling this situation.

My name is Rick Slubowski, and I am concerned about my Xbox [redacted] being hacked through the system link or Kinect share functions. I have never used these features, and it appears there is a connection to a Mac Windows system with firewall protection showing microphone and camera use that I cannot control. There is also an active account on a profile that is not mine, as I have never had an Xbox account or played online. I suspect a person who showed me a Bud,rlglass Bluetooth device is responsible for hacking my phone and invading my privacy by sharing video and content. I am unable to use my cell phone due to this invasion of privacy. I request an investigation to trace the source through Wi-Fi encryption and possibly an RFID device according to information on my phone. Please reach out if necessary or contact the authorities to resolve this issue promptly.

My son's debit card has been charged multiple times by Microsoft for recurring charges. We are unable to cancel the charges as he has forgotten his Microsoft account login details. Despite trying various methods to recover the account, including filling out a form, we have not been successful. What options do we have other than canceling his debit card and requesting a new one?

I have an old Xbox [redacted] account under the name SouthPolePlaya. I have the email and password, but I haven't logged in for years. Recently, when I tried to access it, I was prompted to create a new Xbox account, which I don't want. I attempted to sign in on my Xbox [redacted], but the login failed. I tried to redownload the account, but encountered an error preventing me from doing so. When I returned to the Xbox One, it only allowed me to download a new account, as if my original Xbox Live profile created with that email years ago no longer exists.

My brother gave me Cyberpunk [redacted] as a birthday gift two days ago. However, when I tried to redeem the code, it didn't work. I've attempted various solutions, but none have been successful. This isn't the first time this issue has occurred with my Xbox. If this problem isn't resolved, my family and I are considering switching to PlayStation.

After finishing exam week, I finally got back to my Xbox. Unfortunately, my controller started glitching when I turned it on after a break. I tried changing the batteries, but it still won't power on. I submitted a replacement request since it's under warranty, but I haven't received a response in over 24 hours. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
