I own an Xbox One X. Recently, I purchased Borderlands 3. While playing last night, my Xbox overheated during a cut scene, shutting off and prompting me to address the issue. I ensured no obstructions were affecting the fans and that the console had ample space. This has happened once before and resolved quickly. However, when I tried to resume playing today, the same overheating problem occurred at the same cut scene. I suspect it's not an issue with the game, especially since it's a digital copy. Additionally, I've noticed my Xbox One X has difficulty reading some Xbox [redacted] games, despite them being on the backwards compatible list. For instance, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops 2 won't work, whereas Borderlands 2 does without issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I submitted my concern four days ago, and after being redirected to Just Answer and then to Roblox, I encountered an issue with Roblox representative, Rawson. Rawson requested specific details such as a list of charges, phone name, payment method, and last four digits of the credit card used. Unfortunately, I was unable to input this information due to a technical difficulty on the entry line provided. Despite trying to reconnect with Rawson by following the indicated link for further assistance three days ago, I have not received any updates. I was given a ticket number/customer care number, which is [redacted], and shared it with Rawson, but have yet to hear back. The lack of communication has left me extremely frustrated. I reported my problem to you four days ago, and you redirected me to Just Answer, who then sent me to Roblox where the issue persists. I spoke with Roblox representative, Rawson, who instructed me to provide specific details like a list of charges, payment method, and the last four digits of my credit card. When I attempted to input this information in the designated area, it was unresponsive. I then clicked the contact option for further assistance, submitted the requested information, and included my Customer Care number. Despite this being three days ago, I have not received a response. My Customer Care number is [redacted]2. Being 82 years old and on a fixed income, I rely on this money. The situation has become incredibly frustrating for me at this point. Marguerite Dedmon

I recently tried to play Destiny 2 and received a message stating I need to purchase it. The game was bought on November 26, [redacted], through my cousin's account, which we share. We played until February without any problems. Checking the billing history on his account, it now shows a disputed charge for the purchase. The payment was made with my mom's credit card for us to play together. I'm unsure why the purchase was disputed or if the payment method caused the issue. I am seeking a refund for unauthorized charges appearing on my bank statement in relation to Xbox transactions. I am a 66-year-old retiree taking care of my 7-year-old granddaughter. Last Christmas, I purchased an Xbox for her with saved money. I had my out-of-state grandson set it up, which included linking a credit card for the free games. My granddaughter rarely used it until recently when I noticed multiple charges on 8/9 for $42.39 (x2), on 8/10 for $42.39, and additional charges totaling $[redacted].27. Initially, she requested a card to buy games, but I wasn't aware of the automatic charges. I contacted the bank to address this issue immediately and have since disconnected the Xbox. I am unsure how to remove my credit card details from the Xbox system. Please help me in reversing these charges and guide me on removing my information from Xbox. I am distressed and considering selling the Xbox in light of this situation.

I have been billed by Microsoft Xbox Live every year for an account that no longer exists, named cookiemonster241. Despite contacting customer service last year about the unauthorized charges, no action has been taken, and I was recently charged £49.99 again this year. I am frustrated by the lack of a contact number to resolve this issue. The email associated with the account is outdated, and I demand a refund for the charges from the past two years as the account has been inactive for over four years. I am considering closing my bank account due to these unauthorized transactions. It is unacceptable that Microsoft continues to withdraw money from inactive accounts. I urge Microsoft to implement a system to prevent this in the future. I expect a resolution and a refund promptly.

My cousin faced online harassment while using my Xbox. The cyber bully was relentless, hurling insults and even encouraging my cousin to quit the game and worse. Due to this incident, my account has been banned until tomorrow. The focus should really be on the individual responsible for the hate speech. The gamer tag of the offending individual is "Feisty Muffin."

My son uses Xbox Live, and I had two direct debits for £5.99 and £6.99 or £7.99 per month from my account. Recently, I noticed higher charges of £[redacted].88 in August and £[redacted].60 in September, related to games like GTA that he has been playing. I found multiple debits on my card, like 7 x £11.99 on 16th September [redacted] and 2 or 3 x £11.99 on other days. Additionally, on 23rd September, there was a £24.99 charge on top of £11.99, which confused me. I wasn't informed about these costs beforehand. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me with this matter. I don't have the reference number, but I believe you can locate my account through my email. Thank you for your help.

I signed into my Microsoft account on my computer to make purchases from the online store. After buying the games, I followed the instructions to download them to my Xbox One. However, I couldn't find the games as expected. When I checked my Xbox profile on my computer, I noticed that the profile name and photo were unfamiliar, and none of my games or achievements were showing up. Although my personal information like email, date of birth, and credit card number were correct, the profile didn't match my Xbox console account. I even found another profile online with the same name, leading to confusion. I'm unsure how this mix-up occurred and I'm looking for a way to transfer the purchased games to my actual Xbox account. I purchased the Dirt Rally 2.0 Deluxe Content Pack yesterday, but some of the items aren't appearing in the game. Specifically, the starter car upgrade pack seems to be missing, even though it shows as downloaded in my Xbox storage. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the DLC and the game, but I still cannot access the liveries or starter car upgrades in-game. We were unfortunately scammed into purchasing 5 activated $[redacted] gift cards after being misled by individuals claiming to be from Apple. They convinced us that there were security threats on our computer and that buying Xbox gift cards was necessary for refunds. They had access to our computer and showed us fake information. We almost provided them with the Xbox card numbers but stopped in time. The cards are still intact, and we seek your help in deactivating them and getting a refund.

Recently, I received a communication ban on Xbox due to a frustrating incident where another player team killed me and taunted me during gameplay. While angry, I responded to the player's taunts verbally. This is my second communication ban, and I believe there should be servers designated for players under 14 to ensure a safer gaming environment. The account associated with this incident is l3lackl3erry480. I hope to resolve this communication ban and avoid escalating the matter to higher authorities within the next few days. Additionally, the player l3lackl3erry480 deliberately lost a game and engaged in team killing, causing disruption. This experience has led me to consider reporting any instances of inappropriate voice communication in the future, particularly when encountering underage players in group chats. Thank you.

I recently updated my gamer tag for free but later changed it again after not liking it, this time paying for the change. However, my old username is still appearing on the Xbox app when I send invites, and even when I log in, it shows my old username instead of the new one I paid for. I would appreciate help resolving this issue, as I want my new username to display correctly throughout the Xbox app and when sending invitations. Thanks, Matthew.

I have noticed several small charges ranging from £1-£2 on my bank statement lately. Today, I discovered a pending payment for £53.99 labeled as Microsoft Xbox, which I did not authorize and have no knowledge of. I am worried that my card details are being used without my permission. I need clarification on this payment, immediate action to stop it, a refund, and the removal of my card details from Microsoft Xbox. I was playing Borderlands 3, and a few minutes into the game, right before a load screen, my Xbox shuts off completely and displays an overheating shutdown warning when I restart it. The console hasn't been on for long or working hard to generate that much heat. I've tried reinstalling the game, but the issue persists. I'm frustrated because I've invested a lot of time and enjoyed many games in this franchise, so this problem is really disappointing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My Xbox Live payment failed, and my mum was promptly notified. She paid for the next year, but unfortunately, my account still showed that I needed to pay for Xbox Live Gold to join parties. Upon checking the payment history on the Microsoft website, it only displayed the months my mum had paid until the failed payment. Strangely, the payment for the following year was not reflected there, despite her receiving a confirmation email for the purchase.

Hello, My name is Tremaine Mitchell, and I have some inquiries regarding my Xbox gaming experience. I have been a dedicated Xbox player since the age of 10, and I have owned my current Xbox [redacted] for a year now. While I have achieved great accomplishments in my games, I do not play online. Lately, I have noticed that my games are not allowing me to improve my skills to their full potential. There are instances where the computer seems to hinder my progress, such as preventing me from making specific moves in Madden16 or limiting my success rate in NBA 2k16. Even after adjusting the difficulty settings, I still encounter similar scores. Could it be possible that the abilities and attributes in the games are being restricted deliberately? If so, what could be the reason behind it?

I have been repeatedly charged $9.99 monthly for Xbox Live despite not using the account for an unknown duration. I have attempted to cancel by phone, but they need my account number or associated email, both of which I no longer have access to. The email is inaccessible and the Xbox account cannot be signed into. Despite updating my debit card, the payments persist. I am frustrated by these ongoing charges for a service I do not utilize. I am requesting the account be terminated and a refund for the unused months.

I recently purchased the Ornament for the Phoenix Protocol for my warlock, unlocked it for use, but unfortunately, the Ornament is missing! I am very frustrated as this has happened the third time where my money is deducted, but I receive nothing in return. I am hoping for a resolution to this issue as I feel like my orders are not being properly followed up on. If I do not receive the item I paid for this time, I will have to escalate this further.
