I've attempted to reset my password multiple times, but each time it tells me to wait 24 hours, and nothing changes. I've tried three more times over the past three weeks, but my password remains unchanged. I will soon be getting a new Xbox and won't be able to access my account. I don't want to start over. If there is a phone number available where I can talk to a real person to resolve this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I purchased Xbox Live for my brother's account for the first time using my card ending in [redacted] on June 11th. After making the payment, he still couldn't access his games or Xbox Live. I then made another purchase, thinking the first one didn't go through. Both charges appear on my bank statement. However, in his purchase history, both payments show up with my card ending in [redacted], but one is dated the 27th. I'm confused about this discrepancy. Despite having Xbox Live access until July 30th, I would like a refund for one of the purchases.

Dear Xbox Support, I enjoy playing Xbox to unwind with friends and explore games like Elder Scrolls Online and Ark. Lately, I've been having trouble playing State of Decay 2 even though I'm a satisfied customer with Game Pass and Gold. I was thrilled to see the new Heartland DLC, so I quickly downloaded it. However, when I tried to play the game, I couldn't find the play or continue button, only options for About the Apocalypse and settings. I checked the Game Pass store and saw that the DLC was downloaded, but it didn't show up in my installed items. A hacker has been repeatedly disconnecting me and my friends from our games for months now. It happens randomly, and he consistently invites me to join his parties. I have learned that joining these parties can expose my IP address to him, enabling him to continue booting us off. His gamer tag is “RGC MR RGC,” and he claims to be affiliated with Microsoft, though I cannot verify this. Despite my efforts to report him and persuade my friends to do the same, he has evaded consequences. Microsoft has been unresponsive to my complaints, and contacting their helplines only redirects me to unhelpful websites. I have been an Xbox player since the early days of the original console, and it's disheartening that I cannot find resolution with Microsoft.

I am upset because I feel scammed by your services for not receiving the [redacted] and [redacted] bonus Call of Duty Black Ops Gold Edition points I purchased for $14.16. I reached out to Xbox assistance after the points didn't show up on my cousin's account. Despite following the troubleshooting steps, the points did not appear. When attempting to request a refund, I was unexpectedly blocked from accessing the website. I recently bought a controller from your Wal-Mart location in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. The controller worked fine initially, but after a few hours of use, it started shutting off unexpectedly despite showing a full charge. This issue drained both my new Nyko batteries and AA batteries quickly. Considering the high cost of a new controller, I'm disappointed that this one is malfunctioning. Recently, my account was charged on a credit card I no longer possess. Despite several attempts, I have been unable to remove this card from my account. The charge was for a gold subscription, which is puzzling as I typically use Xbox cards to avoid such issues. Today, I discovered that my gold subscription had expired, and instead of simply ending it, Xbox charged the no longer existing card. I did not authorize the use of this card for subscription purposes. I always purchase Xbox gold cards with a fixed duration to prevent overcharges. It's perplexing that after 4 years, Xbox would suddenly link my old credit card and activate a subscription without my consent. I request the removal of the $69.99 charge, as I never allowed the card to be used or approved the renewal of the subscription.

While babysitting my niece and four other cousins, my niece accidentally purchased the Borderlands Gentleman's Collection on Xbox Game Pass. I currently have the Game Pass subscription but didn't realize she was going to buy the game. I need a refund for this unintended purchase. My niece has a mental disability, and I regret not supervising her better. I only noticed the charge when it was time to pay bills. Living paycheck to paycheck, I sincerely ask for your help to rectify this situation. I provide childcare for these kids who enjoy being at my home, and it was an honest mistake. Hello, I am a Mixer streamer who primarily uses Xbox to broadcast my gameplay. My main game, Terraria, contains months of collected items that I share with viewers to enhance their experience. Unfortunately, a week ago, some uninvited players joined my stream, destroyed my in-game world, and proceeded to harass me with name-calling. I reported them for their behavior, leading to their suspension. Strangely, I have now been suspended twice within two weeks due to these same players reporting me, even though I have not interacted with anyone recently. As someone currently unable to work due to health concerns, streaming is my way of making a living. I urge Xbox to thoroughly investigate reports before taking action, as innocent players like myself can be suspended unjustly. Please address this matter promptly so I can resume streaming. I bought the Minecraft Builders Pack for my son's birthday on March ** for Xbox [redacted]. Unfortunately, we encountered issues, and when we tried to play, it only said we were using the trial version. The purchase is visible on my account under *****@***.com with the username DoomedOsprey952. Despite several attempts to resolve the problem through chat, no solution was found. Hello, I am a parent who has two children, both owning Xbox One consoles. I am consistently having to replace their controllers due to issues like ghosting triggers or malfunctioning clicking buttons on the top left and right. I purchased red and blue controllers for them in April last year (possibly [redacted]), and I've had to return one of them 3 times and the other one 4 times for the mentioned problems. This frequent need for replacements is unacceptable and is becoming costly for me as I have to keep visiting the Argos store where I bought them and also purchased warranty. I'm having trouble downloading an original Xbox game, "Pirates!" on my Xbox [redacted] Slim. The error message "Can't Download Pirates!" keeps popping up. I've tried troubleshooting by restarting the Xbox, re-downloading the game multiple times, and checking for system updates by testing my network connection. I even deleted and re-downloaded the system updates after restarting the Xbox. Despite my efforts, the game still appears as corrupted in the settings under storage. Referred to by some as Xbox 2 and by others as Project Scarlett, I believe naming it Xbox Scarlett would be more impactful and meaningful compared to a numerical designation. I urge you to avoid the conventional numbering system to maintain originality and depth in the naming process. We are having trouble with our Microsoft XBOX Live and Home Account swaps due to running out of swaps on our two XBOX One consoles. Recently, my older son's XBOX One broke, and we had to buy a new one. He now needs to switch the home account to the new console to access Microsoft XBOX Live. The next available date for a Home Account swap is set for July 14, [redacted], but we are wondering if it's possible to have an earlier swap given the situation with the new XBOX purchase. I am having difficulty with your system. This applies to both trying to contact a representative for assistance and to your Xbox One consoles. I believe the Xbox [redacted] was a superior system. In my salon, we are experiencing significant problems with all seven Xbox One consoles. One issue that requires attention is the unexpected activation of a six-digit passcode, which I did not set. I have not received any response after waiting the entire day. We have created multiple accounts due to various recurring problems. Some of our games only function sporadically. Additionally, one console has a problem with a stuck disc, while others are unable to recognize discs. It seems unnecessary to purchase physical discs if we are required to download the content and then encounter issues being prompted to download from Microsoft. Repeated downloads for seven systems are inconvenient. The system appears to be designed in a way that encourages continuous spending without adequate technical support, rendering it challenging for Gamestop to provide assistance. Unfortunately, it is my boss who bears the consequences of purchasing these products, as I have no intention of acquiring them personally. In my experience, PlayStation has always been a better choice.

While playing Fortnite with my friend, we encountered a very toxic teenager who threatened to harm us because we were winning. He became increasingly derogatory and aggressive, even targeting a nine-year-old we were playing with. Throughout the two-hour match, he spewed hateful and violent remarks, including threats towards the child. I have video evidence of his disturbing behavior. I have been using the same gamertag for years on Xbox, but I took a break from gaming for a while. When I tried to log back into my account, I was asked to sign in to continue using it. However, when I attempted to reset my password, it stated that the email associated with my account does not exist. This is frustrating because I have accumulated years of achievements and spent money on this account. Despite my efforts to log in, it seems like my account has disappeared. I encountered an issue while trying to play a game on my Xbox One. The console prompted an update, although no update was in progress. After researching solutions, I opted to reset my console while preserving games and apps. However, upon reconfiguring, my WD Elements external hard drive failed to function.
