Hi, my name is Ronel, and I'm experiencing issues with my Xbox One controller. Accidentally dropped it in milk, causing the right analog stick to make my movements drift during gameplay. I was having cereal a day ago and placed the controller on my stand. As I moved on my bed, I accidentally kicked the controller into my cereal without noticing. Upon returning home and discovering the mishap, I searched for solutions on YouTube. I tried using a blow dryer, then rice to dry out the milk, but neither method worked. Following another suggestion, I used a q-tip and alcohol on the malfunctioning joystick, to no avail. I would appreciate any advice on how to fix it. Thank you.

My friend and I have put countless hours into our Minecraft world. Recently, when I logged into my friend's account to play on our world, I encountered an issue where the file appeared to be corrupted. Initially, the world had around 84 MB of data but after the corruption message, it showed only about 24 MB. When my friend and I later accessed the world together, we were devastated to find that most of what we had built was missing. We are heartbroken by this loss. If there is any assistance you can provide to help us recover our world, we would be incredibly grateful. Thank you.

After just moving due to a military transfer, I recently tried to activate my Xbox One, which prompted me to purchase a pass. The message in my account advertised a game pass for $1 per month. However, upon selecting this option, I was directed to Xbox Live subscriptions where a 1-month subscription for $9.99 was offered, stating it includes the game pass with access to [redacted] games. I opted for the $9.99 subscription, expecting to have the game pass included. Unfortunately, after subscribing, we are being prompted to purchase games separately, even those that were previously included in the game pass. This misleading experience has left me feeling I was overcharged and not provided the expected game pass access. As a longstanding household name, Microsoft must address this discrepancy to uphold its reputation. Thank you, - Megan H. and family

I am seeking a refund for two games, NBA 2K19 Anniversary Edition and UFC 3. While I was working a 12-hour shift as part of the Security Forces in the Air Force Military Police, my family was over, and my aunt's children were playing on my Xbox. Upon returning home, I noticed new games on my console. I initially thought my aunt had purchased the games for the kids or that it was an advertisement prompting me to buy them. However, after checking my billing records, I discovered that the games had been charged to my account. Due to my hectic work schedule and managing a business, I haven't had time to contact you until now. I'm hoping for assistance in processing a refund as I rarely have time to play Xbox due to my work commitments.

My Xbox [redacted]'s Internet Explorer is outdated, and my console is about 10 to 15 years old. I am struggling to find out how to update it to the new version of Internet Explorer for Xbox [redacted]. I've done a lot of research, but it's asking for [redacted] megabytes, and I am unsure how to proceed. I've been told by my internet provider that the speed should be enough. I play World of Tanks and the latest update requires the new version. I have both a Live and Gold account. My internet provider is increasing my speed from [redacted] to [redacted] megabytes, but I'm not sure if it will help with the download. Any help would be appreciated as being disabled makes this challenging for me. I've also experienced being kicked out of Xbox Live while playing. My email is available for further assistance.

After resolving the issue where my Xbox was stuck on a black screen, I managed to access the home page. However, I am now experiencing difficulties loading and installing both digital and disc-based games. I believe Microsoft should provide either an update to address this recurring problem or allow me to send in my Xbox for repairs without any additional charges. It seems that many users are encountering similar issues with their Xbox consoles, and it is essential for Microsoft to address these issues promptly and effectively.

I am frustrated with this situation. When I went to reinstall the game "Dying Light" on my Xbox One, it was unexpectedly missing from my ready to install list. I have owned this game digitally for a couple of years, and I even have 35% completion with the achievements. Now I am being prompted to repurchase the game and the Following DLC, both of which I have already bought. I urge you to rectify this issue. You can verify my claims by checking my gamer tag, DaBluntzz [redacted].

Unfortunately, our Xbox Live subscription was accidentally charged due to an oversight in canceling the auto-renewal. We contacted customer support requesting a refund, but we were informed that the service would not be canceled, and no refund would be given. Given the recent passing of my husband's mother and the financial strain this unexpected charge has caused, I am disappointed in the lack of flexibility and understanding shown. I would appreciate further clarification on why this decision was made and how it aligns with providing good customer service during difficult times.

I'm having trouble playing Minecraft on my phone. I attempted to log in with an Xbox Live account, which eventually worked despite not owning an Xbox. However, when trying to create a realm, I encountered a setting error preventing me from doing so, even during the free trial. Following a privacy and security prompt, I adjusted sharing settings, resulting in the Minecraft app now being unable to open, even after using the Xbox app in an attempt to resolve the issue. I logged out on the Xbox app hoping it would log me out of Minecraft as well, but the app has not opened in over 24 hours. I am unable to access the app despite being logged out, and I fear losing the worlds I have spent significant time on if I uninstall and reinstall the app. This situation has left me extremely frustrated.

I am using an Xbox [redacted], and my Twitch app is not functioning correctly. While other apps operate smoothly, when I attempt to watch a live stream on Twitch, it consistently fails to load, displaying the error message "The Twitch server is not available right now. Try again later." This issue has persisted for over a month, despite trying various online fixes like reinstalling the app and signing out and back in. Even after having a technician inspect my cable connections, which are functioning properly, the problem remains isolated to the Twitch app's live streams. I would appreciate any assistance with resolving this matter.

There is a highly toxic group of players who are collecting people's IP addresses and orchestrating online attacks. This group, led by DuckyFlum, consists of 13 members who are engaging in hate speech, threats of violence, and cyberbullying. DuckyFlum even has a Youtube channel showcasing his bullying behavior. One member, Shi no komori, has made real-life threats and admitted to violent and illegal activities. Despite blocking DuckyFlum, he has used others to pass on messages. SaneIowa[redacted] has also shared disturbing information about himself. These individuals have evaded bans and continue their harmful actions, causing concern for the community's safety on Xbox Live. It is imperative to address this serious issue promptly to ensure a safe and enjoyable gaming environment for all users.

I am experiencing issues with my Xbox where it doesn't allow me to sign into my accounts without restarting the console every time it turns off. This issue affects all of my accounts, not just one. Furthermore, after signing in and attempting to play games, I encounter problems with DLC data, even though I have the required DLC installed. Reinstalling the DLC resolves the issue, but it can be time-consuming. This problem occurs with all games, and none of my apps are working properly either. The only function unaffected is the party chat. Despite attempting troubleshooting steps like hard resetting and restarting the Xbox multiple times, the issue persists. I am looking for a solution to these persistent problems. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I am seeking assistance with a situation involving harassment and inappropriate language in a game of Rocket League. While playing, another individual and I engaged in banter, but it escalated with him stealing the ball from me, becoming aggressive, and ultimately playing for the other team without cause. Swearing ensued from both parties, and after discussing his behavior, he proceeded to use offensive language repeatedly. Several days later, we encountered each other again, where he messaged derogatory remarks after a match. Following my response, he insulted me further and subsequently reported me, resulting in a temporary ban. Upon the ban's completion, he taunted me about it. I believe this player warrants a permanent ban due to his inappropriate language and behavior. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I signed up for Xbox Live a few months ago to watch a movie but couldn't figure it out. After having heart surgery, I realized I was still being charged. Despite speaking with two representatives, they couldn't locate the account as it was under my husband's email address. They canceled the membership using the last 4 digits of my card number and promised a refund once I provided the necessary details. I can now provide the email address [redacted], the phone number [redacted], and the gamertag sw3atnbull1t. If needed, I can be reached at [redacted].

I urgently require assistance with an issue regarding being charged $24.99 for 3 months of Xbox Live Gold instead of the one month I intended to purchase for $9.99. I have used my Xbox 1s very minimally in the past month. I kindly request the $24.99 be refunded to the original payment method, and I would like to continue paying $9.99 per month for Xbox Live. The billing process has been confusing, causing my bank account to be overdrawn. I've experienced multiple difficulties with payments and account changes using PayPal, credit, and debit cards. As a loyal customer who invests in Xbox services and games like Rocket League, I expect clearer billing and service descriptions. I request the $24.99 charged between 5/31/19 and 6/1/19 to be refunded promptly with a clarification of the charges. I anticipate the refund within 24 hours and appreciate a follow-up call and email. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I attempted to play for the first time in a while. I received an error message saying my passkey was incorrect, despite having it saved on my phone. Subsequently, it claimed my Microsoft password was also wrong. When trying to reset it, I realized my email wasn't set up, then I was prompted for two-step verification which I never activated. I now have to wait until tomorrow to request a code, even though I just wanted to play today for the first time in months. This frustrating experience is one of the reasons I've been avoiding playing. I tried contacting Xbox support, but struggled with their website. Unable to locate their phone number, I resorted to this forum. After finding the number and calling, I received no answer; the call kept ringing until an automated message stated Xbox was unavailable. Once again, Microsoft has caused me undue frustration. Their lack of assistance is truly disappointing.

My username is yared1401 and on 6/1/[redacted] I was charged for a monthly renewal without my consent. I originally signed up for a free membership and turned off auto-renew, but I still ended up being charged. This charge caused overdraft on my account and I have been trying to reach out to Microsoft for assistance through both phone and online channels. However, I have been encountering a loop where phone support directs me online, and online support directs me elsewhere, leading me back to live customer support. On 6/2/19, I contacted my bank to explain the situation, and they mentioned it could take some time to resolve. Feeling stuck, I am now seeking help here to try and reach out to someone at Microsoft to request a refund.

Before lodging my complaint, I need to ensure it's reported to the authorities because this situation is not limited to Xbox. There is an account under the name Grim Screamz, actual name Andrew B. from Rumford, Maine, who has hacked my Xbox One. He now has control over my gold membership and has prevented me from changing my password. Andrew is capable of hacking Facebook, emails, phones, and even stealing from stores without getting caught. He claims to know the locations of all the surveillance cameras in the stores. Despite his unfounded statement of working for Xbox, he has a history with law enforcement in Maine and the courts. I don't think he should be allowed to have access to any electronics. I once considered him a friend, but friends do not engage in such actions. Thank you, Michael P. Lake (username: LakeZ71)
