While playing Rainbow Six: Siege with a friend, he received an invite from a player on the opposing team. I advised him to include me when he joined to see what was going on. Shockingly, the player threatened to DDOS us. Despite the warning, my instinct led me to exit the party and restart my Xbox immediately. After the incident, my WiFi briefly went down, causing major concern as it was a valid threat. I urged my friend to leave the party promptly. Subsequently, he informed me that they discussed shutting down WiFi, which indeed happened to both of us. Unsure about my limited knowledge of hacking, this experience is entirely new and unsettling for me. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the player's username for reporting purposes.

I am experiencing difficulty logging into my NBA 2k19 account as I am getting an error message saying the userdata file has been corrupted and possibly overwritten. I have four players on the game, with one being fully maxed out on all badges. The other three players were created recently after purchasing virtual currency. I haven't confirmed the prompt for fear of losing my progress and investments. I would appreciate assistance in recovering my account or a refund if recovery is not possible. My gamertag on Xbox is BigMikeGoHard89, and you can contact me via my updated email at [redacted] The issue has also affected my NBA 2k18 digital copy, prompting me to connect to servers. While I am less concerned about NBA 2k18, resolving the problem with NBA 2k19, where I dedicated time and money, is my priority. Your help in restoring my players would allow me to continue enjoying these games.

In the technical service, I was informed that my refund request was denied because I had previously received a refund for a product (Grand Theft Auto V) due to it being technically outdated. I understand the denial of a second refund for the same reason, but my current case is quite different, and I will describe it in detail and kindly request that they reconsider. On April 12th, I purchased the game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt through the xbox.com website. I used the portal's search feature, and only one item appeared. I placed the order, which is numbered [redacted]. A few minutes later, when I checked the console, I saw not only the first version but also The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition for a slightly higher price. I found this second version to be a more appealing offer, so I placed a second order, numbered [redacted]. I request that a refund be issued for the first purchase, as it is the same item but with extended content in the second version. If I had seen the "Game of the Year" edition first on the xbox.com website, I would not have hesitated to buy it. I believe, based on my personal opinion, that the website did not correctly display all the search results for "The Witcher 3," which led to my mistake in the initial purchase.

I received a suspension from Xbox online play for the following reason: I was leading a game of Madden 26 to 8 when my opponent paused the match. In response, I referred to them as a "bitch," intending to indicate a female dog, similar to calling someone a turkey. I understand not everyone interprets this term the same way, and I believe it's not a curse word, unlike many assume. After my opponent cheated to claim the win, they proceeded to taunt me. I mentioned that I contacted Xbox Live and attempted to explain the legal aspects to the individual. While I have some legal background, I am not a lawyer. I find it unjust that I was suspended, while the player causing issues faced no consequences. Following the suspension, they continued to harass me. My attempts to seek clarification from Xbox online were unproductive, and I felt ignored by their responses. I consider being blocked by Xbox a form of harassment. I seek detailed reasons for my suspension, the lack of action against the cheater, and why they could continue to taunt me afterwards. I demand an explanation for the block. If there is no response, I am prepared to file multiple small claims lawsuits against Xbox, each amounting to $4,[redacted].99. I am willing to elaborate on the lawsuits if necessary, but my primary goal is to resolve this matter promptly. I request to be contacted via email with a phone number for direct communication. Failure to address this adequately will result in legal action, as I refuse to pay for Xbox Gold only to face harassment without resolution despite my previous complaints.

I have encountered issues with my XBOX Live Gold Subscription lately. Despite having the subscription, I have been unable to access games like GTA Online due to a technical problem. When attempting to renew my subscription through the Microsoft Store, an error message stating a temporary issue is displayed. Upon investigating, I discovered that the monthly payments were charged to my dad's card using his billing address instead of mine. I have rectified this by removing my dad's card and updating my billing address, yet the Gold membership remains inactive with an "April Payment Pending" status. My account name is RadicalWrath, and you can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted] Appreciate any assistance with this matter.

Yesterday morning, I received a notification that my account was compromised, prompting a request for ID verification via phone. Unfortunately, as I have changed phones without updating Microsoft, phone verification was not possible. The next option was to provide personal information. Despite facing several unsuccessful attempts, leading to a 24-hour account lockout, I managed to convince Xbox today that I am indeed Ryan Howe. My relief was short-lived as my attempt to change the password failed when I realized my current password was deemed incorrect. This password has been in use for years to log in to my Xbox account with the email [redacted] I regret not updating my phone number with Xbox for a "new password" request. I suspect the individual who compromised my account has changed the password, making access to [redacted] impossible. My alternative work email is provided above. Although I have now updated my phone number, I was informed it may take up to a month. My Xbox account holds a special place in my life, and I deeply miss accessing it. I seek assistance desperately to regain access as I feel completely lost.

I recently had my account gamertag banned for changing it to "bootytickler007." After submitting a case review, the ban was lifted, and I was promised a free gamertag change two days ago. However, I have yet to see any changes. When I contacted your online chat/voice call support yesterday, I was simply told to "wait longer" or to purchase a new tag. This response is disappointing, especially since I provided evidence of the ruling being overturned. Despite that, I was told that "only your first change is free, no exceptions." If this issue is not resolved, I will not be investing in any more Microsoft products as I have encountered numerous problems in the past.

Please call me at [redacted]. I am new to this entire gaming experience and encountered an issue. During a party, my husband accidentally shot one of our friends, resulting in him being temporarily banned from the game for thirty minutes. They seem to doubt my ability to handle this by myself, but I am giving my husband permission to use my account to continue playing with his friends. Kindly contact me so we can resolve this situation. Once the ban is lifted, my husband can rejoin the game. I haven't played video games since my middle school days of Donkey Kong, but now participating with my husband and his friends has been amusing. Although I'm trying to be understanding by allowing him to use my account, I realize the fun in it and would appreciate assistance in lifting his ban to surprise him. Please call me for further clarification. Thank you.

My son's Xbox account, "THE ICEMAN BC," has been suspended due to inappropriate comments exchanged with his friend through chat. His friend mistakenly reported him as a joke, not realizing the consequences. We attempted to appeal the suspension but failed on some strange questions, such as one about a purple avatar. After reviewing the chat, I explained to my son the seriousness of his actions. Please, can you swiftly review and lift the suspension? We reside in Australia. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Hello, I ordered an Xbox One Elite controller from Amazon on Wednesday, and it arrived today. When I opened it, I noticed that the headphone jack is not working with this new controller. I tested my headphones on my old controller, and they work perfectly, confirming that the issue lies with the new Xbox One Elite controller. Additionally, there is a problem with the RT button/trigger as it triggers rapid fire when held down, while the LT button/trigger does not have the same issue. This rapid spamming affects my gameplay, particularly in Fortnite Battle Royale when editing. I suspect there may have been damage during transit causing these issues, as I did not mishandle the controller. I would appreciate assistance or information on how to get the controller repaired. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I bought a $2.99 DLC for Lego Marvel Avengers, and my system crashed during the download. I've attempted to download it several times, but it keeps crashing. Although the system shows the purchase, it won't complete the download, and it states there are no refunds. I'd like help getting in touch with someone who can assist in fixing this or providing a credit to my account. While I understand the no refund policy, I hope you can see my frustration. I value good customer support and would appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you and have a pleasant day.

I recently used a possibly derogatory word while chatting with a friend on Xbox, which led to me getting communication banned by the system. We were chatting and having a good time when suddenly I was removed from the party and received an enforcement notice. I contacted my friend to ask if he reported me, but it turns out it was an automated system. I am hoping to appeal the ban and explain to Xbox that it was a misunderstanding. My friend and I often talk that way, and I didn't realize it went against Xbox's guidelines. I feel unfairly punished since it wasn't clearly stated as a rule. If the words used are so bad, I wonder why I wasn't just completely banned from communication. My friend and I still want to continue playing and having fun together.

I have received a communication ban, and I am requesting for it to be lifted. The person who reported me was using offensive language and engaging in cyberbullying through the microphone. I find it unfair that I received a ban for responding to his behavior when he instigated the situation. It seems unjust that I can be penalized for defending myself with just a few words while he can freely harass others. Please do not respond with a standard apology as this situation is unacceptable. It is disheartening to see Microsoft allowing harassment and bullying to go unchecked while penalizing those who attempt to stand up against it. It appears that the code of conduct in place benefits the bullies. My gamertag is BAG the OG. I am hesitant to leave the community due to the lack of actions taken when such behavior is reported. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I have reached out to Xbox twice regarding unauthorized charges on my account and to remove my credit card information to prevent future charges. Both times, I used the chat function, and both times, the Xbox representative asked me to wait a few minutes but never returned. The unauthorized charges amount to $27.04. Update: I received another notification today of a $27.04 charge on my account! I urgently request a phone call to address this issue promptly. My contact number is [redacted].

I recently noticed multiple unauthorized charges on my account totaling $[redacted] that were made in quick succession. I provide my son with a weekly allowance for completing chores and maintaining good grades, and he is not permitted to spend such a large amount. I typically trust him to make small purchases, like $4.99 or $9.99, but this recent incident is concerning. The charges occurred within the same minute, which is unusual for his spending behavior. I value my relationship with your company and would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. My contact email associated with the account is [redacted] or [redacted] I hope to continue using your services, but I need clarification on these transactions. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have been suspended from Xbox for seemingly no reason. I have not made any derogatory comments in my messages. I am frustrated with Xbox support because I cannot participate in my leagues due to this unjust suspension. I have attempted to contact support with no success. I am requesting an explanation for my two-week suspension and need it to be lifted immediately. If I do not receive an email today clarifying this error and removing the suspension, I will consider switching to a PS4. I am upset and feel like another valued customer is about to be lost since three of my friends have already switched for the same reasons.

I've been locked out of my profile for about six years. I can't remember my password, and the email associated with it no longer exists, so I can't access the necessary code. I am currently viewing my profile information, including my birthday, as proof of my identity. Despite providing verification repeatedly, I'm still unable to regain access to my profile. I've been given the runaround for six years, which is frustrating. I'm disappointed with the way this situation has been handled and your company's policies. I've been a loyal Xbox customer since the beginning, despite encountering issues such as having to replace multiple consoles and controllers. It would be greatly appreciated if my profile access could be restored promptly. Thank you.

My Xbox One was in the middle of updating when it reached 99% during the "applying update" phase and then returned to my home screen. Since then, whenever I try to open a game or app, it briefly displays the title screen before closing. I can navigate through menus like settings, but when I go to My Games and Apps, it endlessly tries to load with spinning circles. Despite attempting various restart methods, each time, the Xbox skips the green startup logo and goes back to the Applying Update process, progressing to 99%, then returning to the Home Screen in a loop. I haven't done a factory reset yet as I suspect I've been playing offline and fear losing my unsaved progress. I've been unable to access the Settings > Storage menu to attempt uploading my saved files. Could all the progress I've made in my games be lost? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I need assistance with my data in Monster Hunter World. Recently, the game was unable to load my data, resulting in a reset. However, my data still appears on my account, as confirmed by my friends who have my characters guild card. My gamertag is SilverWolf103. I see my 6MB data in the game, but it won't sync properly. I am desperate to retrieve my character. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been trying to download the latest Xbox One update since 4/29/19, but it keeps failing at the "verifying update" stage. I have a stable internet connection and I've even attempted the USB offline update by converting it to NTFS. However, when I tried to use the USB on the troubleshoot screen, my Xbox wouldn't recognize it. I recently attempted a reset while keeping my saved data, but now I no longer have the option to go offline as I've lost my profile. The only choices I see now are "try again," "check network connection," and "turn off Xbox." This is frustrating because my Xbox has worked perfectly until this failed update, and now I'm unable to use it at all. I've tried reaching out for support, but the automated voice system keeps directing me to solutions that don't work. I'm paying for a service I can't access, and this situation has rendered my Xbox completely useless. Please help me fix this issue as soon as possible; I'm losing valuable days of service due to this problem.
