My Xbox's WiFi card is malfunctioning once more, shortly after being sent back to me for repairs. Strangely, my WiFi works fine with a LAN cable, but my controllers won't connect. After only playing for about 4 minutes, the disconnecting issue begins. I've tried new controllers, batteries, and sitting directly in front of the console to no avail. The problem persists when connecting controllers via USB as well. Additionally, the controller lights remain on continuously, even when disconnected or when the Xbox is turned off. I take good care of my Xbox, with fans nearby for cooling, and it hasn't been subjected to any physical damage. This recurring problem with the WiFi card is frustrating, especially considering I've only owned the Xbox for 11 months. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

I am trying to figure out the price of Battlefield 4 because my family already has it. This Christmas, we had to buy the Battlefield and Minecraft Bundles due to limited options. Since we already own these games, I intended to sell the access codes on Graigslist at a lower price. However, when I tried to check the price, Battlefield 4 started downloading without asking for confirmation or payment details. I already own the game and dislike it, so I don't understand why my money was spent on it again. I have been an Xbox user since the first release and am well-versed in managing purchases, so this accidental buy is frustrating. This also happened with Fallout 76 previously. I am requesting a refund for these two games, especially Battlefield 4, as I did not intentionally purchase it and believe there was an error on your end. I work in tech sales and am knowledgeable about gaming consoles, accessories, and troubleshooting.

We kindly request a full refund of $[redacted].32 to the IBC debit card on file. The account name is deeznutsok@outlook. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated. Thank you. - Shawn Calvert

I had a frustrating experience at a party where a kid was being annoying, and when I tried to handle it, I got suspended from playing a competitive game. The process seems unfair because it rewards the first person to report, even for minor incidents. I usually handle such situations by muting and blocking, but I got penalized this time. The automated system's treatment upon my return to Xbox felt outdated. Decisions seem one-sided without considering the full story. This incident makes me question my need for Xbox or any console. It's disheartening how such situations are handled, leaning towards younger players.

My Xbox Live membership and Xbox Game Pass have lapsed without my knowledge. Although I already paid for a certain number of months, they are now insisting I settle the outstanding amount before I can renew the subscriptions. I am unable to purchase another subscription until the previous balance is cleared, despite being unaware of the charges accumulating. I am eager to continue playing by obtaining a new subscription, but the system is preventing me from doing so until the outstanding balance is resolved. It is frustrating to be hindered by this situation, especially since I initially paid for the months in question and now wish to renew without delay.

Hello, my stepson has been banned from this account for two weeks. When I contacted the live chat to request a reduction because I have already disciplined him, the representative named "Mayley" agreed to reduce the ban to one week after some questions and verifications. I wish for the ban to be lifted as she assured me it would be, believing he shouldn't face a double punishment. The language he used was not hate speech; he and another player were just engaging in friendly banter during a game of Rocket League. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or call [redacted] to resolve this matter. I appreciate your time and assistance. Thank you.

Nearly 30 days ago, I bought an Xbox Game Pass or Gold Membership for my son to play Fortnite on my Xbox One. However, after a few days, he couldn't sign in to his gamer account, Zak Attackk 12, as usual. Despite multiple attempts to reset the password via Microsoft's recovery form, I could not regain access due to lack of detailed account information filled in hastily during setup. Subsequently, I created a new account for him ([redacted]) to continue playing Fortnite, but it turns out he no longer has access to the game. Both accounts now require membership purchase, causing frustration and wasted money from the V-Bucks purchase. My son's progress in Fortnite is now split between two accounts, making it unenjoyable. The stress of attempting to contact Microsoft for support, combined with the inability to recover the account with outdated contact information, has left me overwhelmed. I am desperate for assistance and resolution to this ongoing issue.

While playing WOT, my tank got destroyed by an opponent, which is common in the game. However, after returning to the garage, the player who destroyed my tank started harassing me for no reason. Despite not provoking them, I responded, and it escalated into an exchange of unpleasant messages. I adjusted my Xbox settings to avoid such interactions in the future. Surprisingly, the player reported me for my reaction, resulting in my account suspension. It feels unfair as I was not the one who initiated the conflict. I wish the situation was investigated thoroughly before taking action. It is disappointing to be penalized for a situation I didn't instigate in the first place.

I recently purchased a server for Conan Exiles through the G-Portal app on Xbox One. Unfortunately, the password contained profanity, preventing me from entering it. I was unaware of this restriction when creating the server on the app. Despite indicating it was for Xbox, there were no warning messages about profanity in the password. I tried changing it to comply with the guidelines, but the G-Portal app is buggy, and I can't access my account to make changes. I've also had trouble logging in from other devices, as G-Portal claims I don't have an account. When I contacted customer service, there were no English options available, and the support was unhelpful. I'm requesting a refund because I've exhausted all solutions to access my account and modify the server password. It's frustrating to pay for a service I can't use. I hope for better assistance here.

Hello, I am having trouble accessing my Xbox account registered under the email [redacted] on my new Xbox One. Unfortunately, I can't remember the password, and my older Xbox [redacted], which had the details, no longer works. I attempted to follow the account recovery process on the website, but was unsuccessful in verifying my identity perhaps because the security questions were from four years ago. I would appreciate any assistance in either suspending the Xbox Live payment linked to that account or recovering access to it. The Xbox gamer tag associated with the account is peterroy16. Thank you for your help.

I keep getting disconnected from the internet consistently. This issue started after I encountered a hacker in a quick play game on Overwatch who was exploiting McCree's ultimate ability. I reported the player, but since then, I have been experiencing constant crashes while playing games with my friends. Initially, I assumed it was a problem with my WiFi, but I noticed that other devices like my phone, laptop, and even other gaming consoles in the house do not have the same issue. This is frustrating because it is preventing me from enjoying games with my friends.

Email/Login: [redacted] I am experiencing issues renewing my Xbox Live subscription. I have updated my credit card details, but every time I attempt to submit payment, I receive an error message stating that something is wrong or invalid with my credit card. Interestingly, each time I try to make the payment, a dollar is withdrawn from my bank account despite the transaction not being completed. I have tried calling twice in the past hour without success. Please contact me via email, text message, or phone call to resolve this as it appears suspicious. Thank you in advance for your help.

For the past two months, I have been unable to communicate with my friends on Xbox Live using the default headset. I attempted switching controllers, checked for any muting settings, confirmed the mic was plugged in, and even did a factory reset without success. I also tried updating the controller and tested the headset on a different Xbox, but the issue persists. My network connection is strong, NAT is open, and I do not have any communication bans in place. Despite getting a new headset last week, the problem remains unresolved, and I simply want to be able to chat with my friends again.

Hello, I recently visited my girlfriend's place and used my account to buy and download a game on her new Xbox One S. However, at home on my parents' Xbox One S, I logged in but couldn't locate the game I purchased. Shouldn't I be able to access the game on any console since I bought it under my account? If that's the case, how can I find and download it? And if not, who should I contact for a refund? It's been years since I last used Xbox, so I'm a bit lost on how this all functions. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Paul

We received an Xbox One for Christmas with a Kinect. Initially, everything worked fine. We later unplugged the Kinect's USB cable and moved the Xbox to a different location. After returning from vacation a week later, we tried reconnecting the Kinect. When plugged into the first USB port closest to the HDMI input, it wasn't recognized. Moving it to the second port, the Kinect powered up but no picture appeared, and the Xbox indicated it was in the wrong port. Reverting to the primary port, the Kinect was again not recognized. Despite trying to troubleshoot by restarting the system and reconnecting the cables multiple times, the issue persisted. It seems like the first USB port may be faulty because the Kinect only lights up in the second port, although it's not recognized by the Xbox there.

I'm experiencing issues with my Xbox stereo and regular headset. Despite adjusting the volume, ensuring the mic is not muted, and activating chat, I'm unable to hear or communicate with others. I've tried different controllers, and while the stereo headset works on the PS4, I can only hear the game audio on Xbox. Interestingly, the regular Xbox mic allows me to send messages but not participate in party or game chat. Strangely, I can hear messages but not voices in them. When switching from game chat to party, there's a momentary message indicating my mic isn't detected, then it vanishes. Unsure if the problem lies with the headsets or controllers.

I purchased Madden 19 for my son, but we are unable to get it to work. Despite seeking help at a game store with no success and being denied an online refund, I remain frustrated. I have proof the game is unused and would appreciate a refund. I am a regular spender on games and virtual bucks. As we could not make the digital copy work, I have already bought a physical copy. The order number is [redacted].

I bought an Xbox Live Gold card for my son for Christmas, but when we tried to redeem the code on the back, it prompted for activation at the merchant. We have the purchase receipt. After returning to the merchant and being told the card is activated, they advised us to reach out to Xbox Live for a new activation code. Despite numerous attempts, we've struggled to speak with a representative. I used the callback feature but have not received a call in 2 days. This experience is frustrating, and I'm starting to wonder if this is a scam.

I own an Xbox [redacted] Slim. Recently, I bought two games from the Live store - Star Wars Battlefront II and Gauntlet. Unfortunately, both games are not working on my system. I have tried deleting and re-downloading them multiple times, along with clearing the system caches. Unlike other games I have downloaded from Games on Demand, like Metal Gear Solid V, which require an internal hard drive and work fine, these two games simply refuse to play or launch.

I encountered an issue while trying to use my vanilla prepaid MasterCard on Xbox Live. After setting it up for online transactions, I wanted to make a $39 purchase and use a $25 gift card along with my Xbox wallet. However, the system did not allow for dual payments, causing the transaction to fail. To resolve this, I attempted to purchase a $25 Xbox gift card from a third-party site I've trusted for years. Unfortunately, the transaction was declined due to insufficient funds on the card. After checking the card balance, I noticed a $2 charge from Xbox. It seems that despite the unsuccessful transaction, I was still charged $2.
