I need help with organizing some Xbox account details. 1. I have an old Xbox account linked to an invalid email address that I can't remember well, along with the password. However, I have access to the Xbox it's registered on. (Gamer tag: AlphaStrategize) 2. I plan to buy an Xbox One soon and would like guidance on transferring the account to my current email for setup on the new device later. 3. I recently created a new Xbox account using my current email, primarily for using the mobile app to communicate. 4. I have regular email access, but it's challenging to connect the Xbox directly outside weekends. Emailing seems the best option for minimal inconvenience. Hoping to move my Xbox account to my current email for a smooth transition to the new console setup. Thank you and have a pleasant evening. -John

Hello, my Xbox Live account, SlantingBoot59, was hacked recently. I have been using this account regularly, but when I tried to log in yesterday, I noticed that my contact email had been changed. Also, new security questions were set up which I did not create. I am willing to provide all my credit card and personal information for this account, but I am unable to answer these new security questions. I have had this account for several years and would like to regain access. I have tried contacting Microsoft but have had no luck getting through on the phone. Please assist me. The original email address associated with the account was [redacted], but it has now been changed to a Gmail account I do not recognize.

I recently noticed an unauthorized purchase on our Xbox account, even though we hadn't used the console in weeks. After speaking with Xbox support, it was confirmed that someone with a different email and Xbox serial number made the purchase. They assured me a refund for the game, "Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Deluxe Digital Version," but later refused. I am disappointed with this customer service experience. I plan to report this as fraudulent activity to my bank. If Xbox doesn't address this issue promptly, I will share my negative experience with my 10k+ followers and recommend using PlayStation instead. This situation has left me without the game and at a financial loss.

My Xbox One Microsoft account has been suspended from Xbox Live services, preventing me from playing online due to a misunderstanding during a conversation with someone. I accidentally mistyped a word, intending to say "fun," but it was misinterpreted. As a result, my privileges were revoked after the other person reported me. I am frustrated by this situation as it was a simple mistake. I am requesting assistance in resolving this enforcement suspension and clearing my name. Thank you for your help. If needed, my contact number is [redacted].

Dear members, I recently encountered an issue where my card was used without authorization by my son on November 8th and 9th, [redacted], resulting in total charges of $[redacted].91. As a single mother of three living on a fixed income, this amount represented all the funds I had left to support my family for the month and provide a Thanksgiving meal. I have taken steps by reaching out to my bank and law enforcement for guidance on resolving this matter. Kindly assist me in obtaining a full refund of the charged amount as this situation has left me in a difficult financial position. Sincerely, Jamie M.

I bought Fallout 76 in September via the Xbox store. Upon returning from holidays on November 5th, I tried downloading the beta client on the 7th. I was unexpectedly charged the full price for the game again and received another receipt via email. (I have both receipts with different numbers.) I wasn't prompted to input purchase details or confirm the transaction. While seeking a refund, I've been informed that the November 7th purchase doesn't appear in my Xbox 'purchases' list. I'm willing to provide my emails/receipts for a refund, but I'm continuously told that the purchase isn't showing. If this isn't resolved promptly, I may contact the Fair Trade Ombudsman and media. I feel like I'm being given the runaround, which is frustrating. Thank you.

I have been charged for a monthly subscription that I haven't used since purchasing almost a year ago. Additionally, I bought games online for my Xbox [redacted] that I haven't played and no longer plan to. Despite initiating a refund process three days ago, it was canceled without my knowledge. After losing contact with the Xbox agent, I tried to follow up via email but received no response. I have the agent's ID number from the first refund request. I am seeking assistance with this issue and hope for a prompt call back to discuss the refund. Thank you.

My account, Stommpy, was compromised about a week ago. The hacker removed my security information, deleted my email ([redacted]), and added new details. Surprisingly, my name, Jake Loeffler, on Xbox Live and gamertag remain unchanged. After reviewing, two new emails were discovered as recovery emails. My Xbox console's serial number is [redacted]8, console id is 396fa536.52fc4d8b.8d9ac5de.[redacted]1.01, and Xbox Live device id is FD009AC1726FB5A1. My account holds over 50 digitally purchased games. If recovering the account is impossible, I hope to regain access to some games. Previously, my PayPal and my mother's credit card, Kimberley Loeffler, were linked, alongside mine, Jacob Loeffler. The removed email was [redacted] The hacker utilized two emails: [redacted] and [redacted], discovered via my recovery email ([redacted]). I invested significantly in my Ultimate Team and numerous other games over the past 5 years with this gamertag. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I believe my card number was stolen as I didn't receive a purchase confirmation email. Microsoft hasn't been helpful, so I involved my bank in resolving this issue. Xbox support has also been unhelpful, which is frustrating. My bank card was on file, but it's been removed now. I suspect someone hacked my Xbox account to purchase Xbox Live Gold without authorization, as I usually get receipts in my email. I got charged for another Xbox Live Gold account, but no receipt showed up in my Outlook account. I always receive receipts for Xbox purchases via email. I am requesting a refund for this unauthorized purchase and would like to speak with a customer service representative rather than receiving automated responses.

Hello, my name is Tiffany. I preordered Fallout 76 on July 28th. I recently realized I couldn't play, so I checked my Xbox Live messages and found out about a payment issue. I only saw the messages today because my son usually helps me with that. I have two main problems: I just wanted to play the game, and I am unsure where my money went as it shows returned and canceled but the funds were not returned to my Key Bank gift card. I received Beta and preorder specials, so I'm confused why I don't have the game or a refund to repurchase it. Both my sons and I are eager to play, so I would appreciate immediate assistance to resolve this matter. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my Xbox Live. When attempting to test my multiplayer connection, I receive an error message "Can't finish multiplayer tests. Back up and try the tests again. If it still doesn't work, there may be a problem with your network. (0x[redacted][redacted])." My network connection appears to be stable when tested, and my brother's Xbox works without any problems on the same network. Strangely, I can access my account without any difficulty on my brother's Xbox, but encounter connection issues on my own Xbox. I have attempted various troubleshooting steps like hard restarting and router resets. This problem has persisted for weeks now, and I am seeking assistance. Just to note, I am using the standard Xbox One console. Thank you.

My son mistakenly used my mother's credit card to sign up for Microsoft Xbox Live Gold in May [redacted] and promptly repaid the $10.69 charge. However, despite updating the payment information on the account to his own in June [redacted], my mother’s Mastercard has continued to be charged $10.69 monthly until now, November. We are seeking refunds for June, July, August, September, October, and November as this charge has been unnoticed until recently. I, as her daughter, am working to resolve this and request that the billing be stopped on her card. I have initiated a dispute with the credit card company, but we anticipate a full refund for the months this error occurred. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

I turned on my Xbox and noticed a "connect to Xbox Live" button on the right side of the recent tab on my homepage. I went to my network tab, disconnected from my WiFi, reset my modem and router, and reconnected to WiFi, but it still says to connect to Xbox Live. It suggested I try a network connection test, which came back as good and connected to the internet. However, when I tested the multiplayer connection, it failed after five minutes, saying it couldn't finish the tests. It's been like this for 2 to 3 days, and I'm frustrated that I can't call for help to fix it. I have an Xbox Live subscription, so why am I not getting the service I paid for?

I am encountering playback errors on the Vudu app while trying to watch movies like Polar Express, Elf, and Aladdin. Additionally, when attempting to watch free documentaries such as Waste and Kidnapped, I am still facing the playback error after the opening commercials. Vudu customer service advised me to uninstall the app, unplug the Xbox, router, and modem, then restart them in a specific order. After following these steps, I now cannot reinstall Vudu at all. The error message "Something unexpected happened reporting this problem will help us understand it better. You can wait a bit and try again or restart your device. That may help. Code: 0x803FB005" appears when I click on "see details."

I am having a terrible experience with a player on Xbox Live who goes by the gamertag SenicHyper12. This individual, Warren Blake Johnson, has been engaging in harassing behavior, constantly threatening me and other players including threats of violence. He also resorts to foul language and cheats in games. His behavior is unacceptable, and I believe that action should be taken to permanently remove his Xbox account to prevent him from creating another one. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated, and I urge Xbox to take the necessary steps to address this issue. Thank you.

For the last few months, I've been unable to make purchases on my Xbox Live Account due to error code 8C15000C. I did some research and discovered this code may be linked to differences between the billing information on my Xbox Live account and the one on file with my bank. However, both addresses match perfectly. I'm certain the information is accurate. I'm frustrated by this issue and eager to find a solution. Could you please advise on how to resolve this ongoing problem? Thank you.

I recently preordered Fallout 76 a while back. The game is installed and the store indicates it's playable. However, when I try to launch it, I receive an error message stating that my purchase was either refunded or the preorder was canceled (error code 0x803f8007). I have verified that my payment information is correct in my account settings. I have not canceled the preorder and even participated in the beta, which requires owning the game. My bank statement does not show any refunds. Can someone assist me in resolving this issue? I am unable to speak with a representative currently as my phone is not available. Thank you for your assistance.

Yesterday, I reached out to Microsoft support through their chat feature for help with my internet connection. While troubleshooting, the agent advised me to log out of my account and then log back in, but I explained that I had forgotten my password since it had been set up three years ago. As we were working on a solution, I unexpectedly got disconnected from the chat, leaving me unable to access my Xbox account on my Xbox One S. I am disappointed with the lack of assistance from Microsoft and frustrated by the situation as I was looking forward to playing my game. I had higher expectations of Microsoft's customer service, and it's disheartening to feel stranded with this issue.

Last night, I sought human help through the Xbox Live Support app. While chatting with the agent, I explained that none of my apps on my phone, including WWE Network and YouTube, would let me stream content. Despite my internet connection being fine upon checking the settings, I kept getting kicked out with a message saying I was not connected. The agent suggested I log out of my account, then log back in, but I couldn't recall my old password from years ago. As she tried to assist, an error occurred, and I was abruptly disconnected from the chat, losing contact with the person helping me. Now I'm in a bind, unable to access my account online. Can someone please offer assistance?

I have had issues with Xbox charging my card incorrectly. Last August, I signed up for one month of the game pass, but was overcharged. After contacting support and resolving the problem, I noticed they continued charging me from October to November, even though I had only authorized one month. I don't even have my own Xbox; I use someone else's, so I haven't been using the game pass. I made it clear to the support person in August that I only wanted one month, so I would like to be refunded the charges for the additional five months, totaling $10, as they were not supposed to keep deducting money from my account for this service.
