Hello, my 12-year-old son had his Fortnite account stolen by an older kid over the weekend of July 22, [redacted]. I have screenshots of the conversation where the kid admits to stealing the account and is now harassing my son, trying to force him to battle for it. My son spent a lot of his hard-earned money on that account, and I would like a refund or for his account to be returned and for the other child to be banned. I know this type of behavior is not tolerated. I have evidence of the harassment and the theft, including the other child's username. Please contact me via email to address this issue. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sandi L.

I am writing to report an incident where my 12-year-old son's Fortnite account was stolen by an older child over the weekend of July 22, [redacted]. The older kid admitted to stealing the account and is now harassing my son, demanding a battle to get it back. My son had invested a significant amount of his saved money into this account. I request either a refund or the return of my son's account and for the other child to be banned from the platform to prevent such behaviors. I have screenshots of the conversation, including the admission of theft and harassment, as well as the username of the other child. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sandi L.

Over the weekend of August 11th, my Xbox Live account was hijacked, and despite regaining access with support's help, my account is now temporarily suspended due to the actions of the hijacker. I've invested a lot of time and money into this account over the years and have been struggling for weeks to resolve this issue to no avail. The email associated with my account is [redacted], and my gamer tag is MJRalls. I can provide all necessary documentation to prove my ownership. I haven't done anything to warrant this suspension and feel unfairly targeted. I desperately want to retrieve my account with all its contents as of midnight on August 11th. If there's any way to assist, please contact me at [redacted] after 3:30 pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Matthew Ralls.

Ever since Xbox Live underwent maintenance a few days ago, I've been experiencing issues with my multiplayer. Every game lags, making it unenjoyable. My internet speed is great, over 500mbps, so it's not a problem on my provider's end. While my console isn't connected via an ethernet cord, this setup has never caused issues before. I've tried troubleshooting and testing the connection, but the results are inconsistent and the connection seems unstable. I am hoping to resolve this so that my gaming experience can return to normal.

I canceled my Xbox Live subscription more than 6 months ago, yet the monthly charges continue to be deducted from my account. Despite removing all my information, selling the Xbox, and changing the payment card, the charges persist, now debiting a different linked account. I feel frustrated having to repeatedly attempt cancellation. I estimate Xbox owes me $60. Contacting customer support has been unsuccessful, leading me to question the reliability of the service provided. This experience has left me dissatisfied, and I am considering avoiding Microsoft products in the future due to the lack of resolution and unsatisfactory customer service.

I have digitally owned COD WWII since its release and recently purchased the season pass. Following this purchase, I lost access to the game entirely. I have attempted to resolve this by uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but now I'm unable to download it again as it indicates that I don't own any version of it. I am incredibly frustrated and urgently need a solution to play the game I own, including accessing my achievements, classes, guns, and the new content. Despite my efforts online and speaking with a tech support representative, the issue persists. My primary account, XxRick JamesxxX ([redacted]), clearly shows my ownership of the game. I am concerned that this may also be happening with GTA 5. Please assist me in resolving this quickly as it impacts my Xbox Live account and gameplay. I suspect a potential hack or compromise. Your immediate attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I found the account security process to be excessively stringent. Despite having my password reset and number changed, when logging into a different Xbox, I was prompted to send a code to my old number. Following the instructions, I attempted to update the linked number online, only to discover that I must wait a month for the change to take effect. While the Xbox assured me I could still access my account during this time, I was continually asked for the code sent to my old number, creating a frustrating loop. I would like immediate access to my account and for this cumbersome security measure to be removed. I value the service provided, but this level of protection is exasperating.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding an issue with my Xbox Live and Microsoft accounts. Unauthorized charges have been made on my credit card, which is causing significant financial strain. I urgently need the funds to be refunded and the credit card removed from my account. I have already contacted my bank about this matter. I am deeply concerned about the security of my accounts. You can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] My name is Sunnee E. and I would appreciate immediate assistance as the funds were intended for my son's hotel reservation before he leaves for the Army. As a single mother of 5, this situation is extremely distressing, and I kindly request a prompt resolution. Thank you.

After the recent software update on my Xbox One original, I'm encountering an error E[redacted]0C02 [redacted]9 when attempting to boot up the console. I've tried using the offline option with OSU1 and a USB drive, but when I choose to reset using the offline option, the screen goes black after the console seems to begin the reset process. I've observed what I think is the hard drive clicking, but even after leaving it running for ten hours, the issue persists, and the system fails to start correctly.

My Xbox suddenly reset itself. Upon restart, it prompted me to log in to my live account, but my password was not accepted. I attempted to reset it but couldn't because my recovery information was incorrect. The email and phone number linked to the account are not mine. I've been struggling to find assistance from Microsoft regarding this issue. Despite filling out the online recovery form, it claims the information doesn't match. I suspect a security breach. I recently renewed my live account and believe it should be linked to my payment method for verification. I'm frustrated by the lack of support for a paying customer. The gamertag is (DizBe2easy) and the email linked to it, which I can't access, is [redacted]

I encountered an issue with my Xbox [redacted] where it did not start up properly, displaying an error message. Following an online guide, I attempted to reset it to factory settings, retaining games and apps as instructed. Despite this, after resetting, the console now continually displays a message saying “preparing your Xbox” then reverts to the start-up error. The power box connected to it remains white and warm, with the Xbox emitting strange whining noises only after being unplugged and then plugged back in. I have refrained from any alterations, so the warranty should be valid. Would it be possible to arrange for a box to be mailed to me for sending the console in for repair? Thank you.

I recently purchased the latest expansion for Destiny 2. My brother and I are sharing the game. He bought the first two expansions. Initially, everything was working well. However, after purchasing the third expansion, Destiny 2 is prompting me to individually own the content, which contradicts our game-sharing setup. The current system forces me to buy the content even though I already have access to the game and its previous expansions. This defeats the purpose of game sharing. Xbox could provide better support by refining the game-sharing process to ensure it doesn't solely rely on one person owning all the content. Alternatively, a refund option would be appreciated so I can gift the expansion to my brother, who holds the primary purchases. Simplifying the game-sharing process would greatly improve the overall experience.

I pre-ordered NHL 19, downloaded it, but now it's asking me to purchase it again. I'm frustrated because even if there was a payment issue from your end, it's not something I should have to deal with. I want to play my game without any more hassle. I recently bought the Xbox One X, investing quite a lot into this setup. It's unacceptable that I'm facing this problem after all the money I've spent. My game should be accessible today as I pre-ordered it, but it's showing as if I need to pre-order it again. I joined EA Access mainly for this game, so this issue is disappointing. Please resolve this promptly. If not, I'll consider returning the system and everything else I bought and just switch to a more reliable one. I have league hockey commitments and this situation is upsetting.

I am having an issue on the Xbox Store where I can't buy the Destiny 2: Forsaken DLC separately. Others are experiencing the same problem. Could you please let me know when it will be possible to purchase the DLC on its own? If it's not a glitch and individual purchase won't be allowed, I would appreciate knowing when that option will be offered. Thank you.

In a recent match of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, my teammates unexpectedly killed me and took all my loot after 20 minutes of play. This was a frustrating experience and led me to angrily message one of the players with a vulgar term. Regrettably, the player reported my message, resulting in my account being suspended. Despite my error in using inappropriate language, I believe the situation is unfair as I was the one penalized for their unsportsmanlike behavior. I am typically a non-toxic player and find it unjust that I am facing consequences while the offender remains unaffected. I kindly request the suspension to be lifted as I was looking forward to playing with my friends during my only two days off from work.

I bought an Xbox One from a friend a few months ago, using his account with games and apps. When I was unexpectedly logged out of his account, I couldn't reach him for the login details. Considering buying a new Xbox Gold subscription and starting my own account, worried about losing purchased games. Want to know if I can transfer downloaded games and apps to my new account or if creating a new profile will delete them. Hoping to access my friend's account again to play until I resolve this. Appreciate any guidance on these matters. Thanks! - Alex

I am experiencing issues with my Xbox One recently. Initially, it wouldn't let me install a new game, so I assumed it was due to some scratches on the disc. After restart, the console had no saved data, but the installation of other games stopped arbitrarily. I have tried various troubleshooting steps like hard reset and installing offline, but the problem persists. Contacting Xbox support has been challenging as I cannot reach anyone for assistance. This console has had previous issues, and I have sent it for repair despite owning it for less than two years. Any suggestions or a call back would be greatly appreciated.

While playing Fortnite, I eliminated an opponent who then insulted me and threatened to have me banned. Despite not violating any rules, I found myself banned for the second time due to false reports. The first ban was only for a day, so I let it go but now facing a week-long ban has left me frustrated. I attempted to appeal by completing the questionnaire, but the system would not let me proceed. It's disheartening to invest an hour just to be met with a dead end. It feels unjust that I was penalized without cause. I believe the real issue lies with the player who verbally attacked me, going by the username Clutcharooo. It would be greatly appreciated if this situation could be addressed promptly. My gamer tag is ButterSnail.

I am confused about being unfairly banned from Xbox Live for 7 days. A random player disrupted our party with inappropriate language and behavior, but I was polite. Despite my respectful behavior, I received the ban. I believe this is unjust as the other player was the one causing trouble. After challenging them to a game and addressing their behavior, the ban seems unreasonable. I am considering switching to PS4 due to this issue with Xbox Live's moderation. I feel mistreated as a loyal customer and may escalate this matter legally if not resolved.
