Help with my Woot issue
The issue in GetHuman3044655's own words
I’m an Amazon Prime user. I just learned of Woot, as a benefit of Prime, this morning. The instructions said I could bypass establishing a Woot ID, and just sign-in utilizing my Amazon Prime ID.**However, after three attempts at trying to do that, the message kept coming back, saying you didn’t recognize my Amazon Prime ID of *****@***.com.**So, I tried to contact your support*customer service, but it only kept back with a sign-in screen which was of no help. How could I sign in for assistance, when the assistance I needed was help with signing in?**I wrote Amazon, and they gave me this link to reach you, while they’re, also, looking into the matter.**I’m hoping you can help!
GetHuman3044655 did not yet indicate what Woot should do to make this right.
I have an issue with Woot too
How GetHuman3044655 fixed the problem
I wish I could include a screenshot which would illustrate this so much better.**I went back to take a screenshot of the sign in page to capture where it said “We cannot find an account with that email address”. Below, clearly, in the “Email” and “Password” boxes, I’d written my Amazon Prime sign in correctly.**Then, I saw it. Immediately aboe the boxes for signing in, there was the Amazon logo, and a small (ad?) with “Login with Amazon.”**What? Was that a button I was supposed to use to sign in with Amazon? The data blanks below didn’t say “Sign in with Woot”...**But ti was! Pressed that button and a new sign in page appeared. Got signed in, and the issue is over. **What a shame! How come the Amazon button wasn’t fashioned like a button (rounded, vs. rectangular and smaller), and how come it wasn’t a different color, too? The “sign in” button at the bottom was green. **One would think if there were two different sign in areas — one for Woot users and one for Amazon users, that each would be clearly identified.**I’d only seen but the one blank “Email” & “Password” forms in which to enter data. The little black rectangle saying Login with Amazon wasn’t notices as such. In fact, if anything, it seemed — heading up the two empty blanks below — that it was advertising that those blanks are where you’d enter your data to sign up...
