I am currently facing issues with my unemployment due to a misunderstanding. The state deems that I quit a job with Homeward Bound while I have actually been without a client from January onwards and was placed on the inactive list. This arrangement would require me to re-register if a client became available. I worked only in January this year as the family took over the supportive home care after that. Despite my efforts to clarify this with Homeward Bound, I have been unsuccessful in reaching them. My supervisor at Homeward Bound is Lynn Wolf. I am anticipating a return to work at Vernon Memorial around July 1st, which will help me maintain my insurance. Nonetheless, I am currently in need of unemployment benefits until then. Your assistance in resolving this issue with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing issues with my unemployment. I was told that I quit my part-time job with Homeward Bound, but in reality, the family of the last client I worked with started taking over the supportive home care. I am currently inactive on the Homeward Bound list due to not having a client assignment, even though I am still employed. I used to work four hours a week there but did not apply for unemployment since I have a full-time position at Vernon Memorial. I have been attempting to reach workforce development daily, but I have been unsuccessful. I file for unemployment every week but can't recall if I mistakenly answered a question about quitting a job. I am uncertain if I will be rehired soon and require my unemployment benefits, so I hope this issue can be resolved promptly. I will continue to file my claims every Sunday while awaiting a resolution. Feel free to contact my supervisor at Homeward Bound at [redacted] or reach out to me at [redacted] for further clarification.
