I was laid off from Whole Foods for attendance. This is their *nd time trying to lay me off for that reason. Both situations, has false information. But all of this started a long time ago in May. **I was working with a lady named Ms. Michelle. I was new back then, so I didn’t know where the bags were to bag the customers items. I used a few of Michelle’s & clearly this made her upset. Her & Damien began to speak negatively about me, WITH ME STANDING RIGHT THERE. I went to speak with Danny about it & STUPID ME, had NO idea Danny & Michelle were best friends. So guess what happend to me?** *) I was wrote up for a no call no show, a month after it happend. I challegened it, stating, how is it a no call no show, when I worked a full shift. I WAS LATE FOR WORK. PERIOD. But since I was no longer apart of the “whole foods friend click” I became a target. I honestly looked at my schedule wrong & if you go back to that time frame, you will see several employees had done that before, WITH BO CONSEQUENCES. ***) I received another write up for a * in **... On this particular write up, I asked, who keeps tabs on the * in **? How do you know if you were late* times in ** days? WHEN DOES IT START? AT THE BEGINING OF THE MONTH OR PAY PERIOD OR WHAT? NO ANSWER STILL!!!!! But one day, I refused to work with Damien (detailed below) & left work. I spoke with Elton before leaving, to make sure my time was in good standing before I just had an incomplete shift. Elton went to look for my attendance & couldn’t find it. Danny & Tim had it hidden somewhere, so Elton told Danny, on FaceTime, that even if I had a * in ** it wouldn’t count against me, because how are they keeping tack of attendance? ***) The *st attempted termination in August ****, happened. It was over turned. My daughters school bus was missing on the *st day of school. As any parent would, I called in to state I would be late. My daughters school bus was missing. It was the *st day of school & even the school couldn’t locate the bus. Since I didn’t call in late within the *hour time frame mandated, I spoke with Danny. She stated for me to bring in a typed letter head from Benjamin Franklin & I did. It was*is signed by Dr. Logan-Jones. But the following week, Danny stated with me & Rachel in the office, that it was an improper call in. I stated “In a state of emergency, their is no time frame!” So my manger demanded a typed letter head from my daughters school, Benjamin Franklin & I did. It’s signed by Dr. Logan-Jones. Danny, lied to the store manager (Rachel) & stated that she never talked to me. Since she lied, Rachel, called Renee on the phone & they threw out the termination. But by then, Danny had already informed my former coworkers, that I was fired, so they knew before me & one even covered my shift. The next day when I went to work, Damien stated in front of the customers & employees, that I was fired so why am I here? I looked at him, like WOW, are you serious? I’m dromt of all these people? He still refused to let me work, until went in the back to talk to Danny. When I went back there, Danny pretended as if she didn’t know what was going on & just called Damien & told him to find something for me to do! But the talk of the night was me. Run the cameras to verify!!!!! This of course made it embarrassing & uncomfortable for me to be at work, so I called the Whole Foods hotline. The lady whom I spoke with, stated they did me a favor, because my daughters school bus missing wasn’t an emergency. I refuse to speak to her again. However, if IMMEDATE family situations are NOT concerned emergencies according to Whole Foods, then THE WORLD SHOULD BE INFORMED of it, BECAUSE EVEN MCDONALDS knows better than that.** *) In several attempts to make peace of the caloric infested environment that Damien was leading. I emailed Renee in HR with my concerns (she could care less...their sole job is to hire & fire, no investigations or anything, just a hostile work environment. MYSELF & THE REST OF WHOLE FOODS refused to work with him. I watched a lot of really good employees walk out the door because of him & I haven’t ever seen them in the store again. Corporate received tons of emails from employees, in reference to him. The store did nothing. But a man came from Houston & put his contact information on the time clock. Someone took it down. I WISH IT HAD BEEN ME!!!!! Damien, Danny & Rachel(Pam, Tim & Larry as well) are all best friends, so they refused to coach or write him up with ALL of the complaints he received. On the day I refused to work with him or Jasmine & left, the next day Rachel & Danny called me in the office, not with Damien present, but just to tell me, he had a eye rolling problem & I should over look his horrible management! inserts surprised face emoji!!!! Damien eventually fired himself, from stealing $*** in all $**s out of the cash register, to payback another employee whom he borrowed it from. But even then, he wasn’t arrested, his last check wasn’t held, & Danny nor Rachel wanted to fire him. So Renee did. Investigate how many employees Renee terminates!!!! It is the department managers job. But since he’s in the click, they still couldn’t do it. But they hired him, knowing he was fired from Rouses Super Market for engaging in inapproite sexual activity, in the stores bathroom, with a mentally challegened young man! ***) I started being scheduled for * days a week, * hours a day. I emailed Renee & stated working there for those few hours, doesn’t benefit me. I’m basically working for free. As my travel expense, out grosses my pay. I will forward you that conversation with her, as it’s to much too add in this section. But when I mentioned I would file for unemployment to gain my lack of hours, my hours mysetriously boosted up. They stated it was due to my availability. But if you investigate my availability changes, you will see they basically are the same. ***) On ********** I was finally terminated. Danny stated, I was late * times in ** days. I told her in front of Rachel, that, “I informed her on the * days ********** & ********** that MY DAUGHTER HAS A CYST THAT WAS FOUND & HAS TO BE REMOVED. So I would be late, but let Renee know to see if it’s okay. She said she did. I know she did, because Renee has one of the typed letter heads from Dr. Kimgs office at Childrens Hospital. The cyst was found on ********** & my daughter has been going through treatment ever since then. I verbatim spoke with Danny on *****...*****...&***** & other days in reference to my daughters surgery. Im already a nervous wreck & plan to file for grievance, harassment & unfair work practice with my lawyer, because there’s been a lot of lies told at Whole Foods. But that, they can believe. ***) Even with bringing in documentation & taking off the week of her surgery, which is THIS MONDAY **********, Renee from HR STATED “The Drs notes only work on abscences, not tardies, & I don’t qualify for FMLA(which my manager never suggested, or even informed me that those days would still count against me! I told Danny in front of Chris, that she lies to much & because of it, good people get hurt. She, if no one else, should about unfair treatment at work, as Danny was about to quit working under the store manager who was there before Rachel. That’s how bad Danny was being treated & I wasn’t even working there then & knows it! But she says one thing to me & something else to Rachel. But Danny has to have known, that with my degree in Fine Arts, I would never allow her to continue in that fashion! IT VIOLATES THE WORK ACT. Relasing emplyoee personal information is the *st violation...& the list goes on. But I am disappointed in her. Not only is it Christmas & I worked on Thanksgiving & Black Friday & the Saturday after that, so I literally couldn’t shop for my I’ll daughter, she verbatim lied to my face again & couldn’t say anything! Not in front of me & Rachel or me & Chris. She just plays as if she doesn’t know what’s going on. As always. But if she’s been working there since she was **, then she is beyond knowledgeabe. ***) THEY COULD CARE LESS IF SOMEONES CHILD DIES, THEY JUST MAKEUP A BUNCH OF LIES & STICK THEM TOGTHER. Had I NOT spoken with Danny about any of this..*) HR wouldn’t have ANY documentation about my daughters surgery, & since they do, I have my proof of documentation, so there is NO lie that they could tell to cover that up. *) if you have an employee who has a family emergency, such as DEATH. CANCER. SURGERY. Then if the employee does NOT qualify for the Whole Foods emergency fund( that I physically contributed to every two weeks, but Rachel just stated over & over, thats it’s not for paying rent, if your boyfriend leaves you, if you need gas in your car...etc...so that is what they thought of me) then why do employees contribute to it? My daughter having surgery is an emergency & if they don’t think it is, then I need to get a certified higher statement, proving it. Even then, I would still inform my fans & the hundreds of other people I know personally, along with my regular customers who shop there! ***) I do not wish to ever gain employment back with Whole Foods again. I’m to embarrassed as an individual to ever step foot in there again & im afraid the company will only repeat what was done previously & that I will not tolerate. Why did they allow me to work a full shift if they knew I was fired? On this termination, not only was Danny, Rachel & Kelly, informed that I was fired & I didn’t know, they allowed me to work a full work day, then call me in the managers office, as they’ve done, every month, since May & lay me off. Then challenge it, sending me across town to my residence to retrieve the Drs notes, only to return & Rachel is gone, so Chris, kindly sat in on the termination. But if they were still terminating me, why did Danny & Rachel send me to get my documents? It’s because Danny knew she had spoken to me & STATED she okayed it with Renee, but then lied again to Rachel about speaking with me. This forth, they have contradicting statements & I have rescipts(emails, Drs notes, run the cameras, customers emails, emplyoee text & every single thing you could think of to support my case. ****) I have to prepare for my daughters surgery in * days. So I will no longer be burdened with loosing my job right before christmas, because I stated to Danny, Rachel, Renee in email, Larry, several times. I’m not here for the pay. I don’t work enough hours to see it. My termination slip stated I was employeed ** hours a week. Do your investigation, as I’m doing mine & you will see that’s a lie! Again! ****) There is an WFM TALK HOTLINE for Whole Foods employees concerns. I have contacted them since May, & They were informed of all of this & did nothing. I explained to them, that this would eventually happen. It is the most stressful work environment ever. If you work * hours, you get a ** minute break. But will stand at a register for the remaing * hours & ** minutes. If you over * hours, you get a ** minute break. So you’ll stand at the register for another * hours & however many minutes your shift requires. I told the lady from the hotline that I would keep in touch with her, to inform of the work conditions. I should’ve never stopped communicating with her. Easy going me, thought things were looking a little bit better. But I was wrong & this investigation will prove it. & hopefully someone else child won’t ever have to go through something like this. ****) Whole Foods stated I talk to much. On written paper. My reply was, thy don’t talk enough. Because of my effective communication skills. I stopped * ladies from suing, one was robbed in the parking lot in broad day light. No police showed up. The detail officer laid for her Uber home. As she didn’t even have keys to get in her car to leave or money to pay the Uber. She was robbed so she didn’t have anything. Also the robbery wasn’t communicated through management. As when Danny tried to coach me before with Larry present, Larry stated he knew nothing of a robbery!!!!!!! Another lady has a bannna sign fell on her head. Another lady slipped & fell in the bathroom! I honestly feel bad for the new employees there. They have no idea that their employment is temporary. That’s why no one is hired full time. & even if a full time position opens up, you won’t get it!!!!
