At the drive-thru in Northside, OH tonight at 7:50 PM, I waited for 10 minutes without anyone taking my order. Even though there was only one car ahead of me and they were served, the employees seemed unresponsive when I tried to get their attention. A male staff member was disrespectful and did not apologize for the delay. This poor service is consistent with my experience at your North Bend Road location, causing me to stop going there. I have not encountered such service issues at other restaurants. It is disappointing to receive such treatment as a customer. There should be better communication regarding delays with orders rather than leaving customers guessing. It appears there may be an issue with employee hiring and training. I reside in Southern California and regularly enjoy your cheeseburger sliders from local supermarkets. I purchase them in a box of 16, each containing 8 two-packs in sealed plastic wrappers. However, I consistently find major misalignment issues within the sliders. The bottom bun, meat patty, and cheese seem haphazardly placed, requiring me to reassemble them before consuming. This daily disappointment leads me to believe there are quality control issues during assembly and packaging. I recommend inspecting the alignment of components during production and assessing how freezing and shipping impact the product's presentation. On December 29, [redacted], my son and I went to White Castle at Fremont Street for dinner. While waiting in line for the restroom, a group of 8-10 people surrounded us, demanding to get their friend out of the bathroom. When the door opened, they tried to cut in front of us, using racial slurs and being aggressive. We managed to get into the bathroom and lock the door, but they waited for us outside, still hostile. Upon returning to our table, my shaken family asked what happened. The group confronted me, calling me names, and when my daughter intervened, she was physically assaulted. My husband tried to help but was also attacked, leading to serious injuries for both. He was treated at Elite ER in Las Vegas and required stitches and lost his front teeth. I ordered a dozen cheeseburgers from White Castle; 8 with heavy everything and 4 plain. I later changed it to 10 with heavy everything and 2 plain. At the drive-thru, they mentioned an order of 6 with everything and 4 plain. I corrected them to 10 with heavy everything and 2 plain. The worker seemed annoyed, changed the order, and handed me one of two bags without napkins or condiments. I then noticed that my receipt showed 8 with everything and 4 plain, not what I asked for. Upon getting home, I found 6 with everything and 4 plain. I called the store and spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager, named Keisha. After a confusing exchange about the missing burgers, she suggested I pick up the missing burgers or get a credit, then abruptly hung up on me. The mix-up with my order and the staff's attitude left a bad impression. It's unfortunate to receive such treatment as a customer.

I have been employed at White Castle #[redacted] for over a year. Recently, I experienced a problem when my phone broke, and I couldn't reach my boss, Udessa. There was a family emergency, and when I finally got a chance to call and explain my absence for my shift, Udessa rudely interrupted me and abruptly ended the call without allowing me to clarify. Her unprofessional behavior was evident. Additionally, when requesting a day off two weeks in advance, she significantly reduces the hours without valid reasons, affecting our income. Numerous team members feel that Udessa's actions are unjust and unfair.

I visited my local White Castle this morning as it was the only place not crowded. I ordered two Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwiches. Initially, I felt ignored by the staff as they were focusing on drive-thru orders. A lady with distinctive features stepped forward to take orders at the front counter. When I inquired about the wait time, she assured me there was no wait. Despite this, it took me 5 minutes to place my order as the staff seemed disorganized. I needed to leave for work by 9:05, but by 9:00, I still hadn't received my correctly made coffee. When I requested a refund, the lady was dismissive and made snarky comments before getting the manager to process it. The overall attitude of the staff was poor, leaving me with a negative impression of the establishment.

I recently visited White Castle #[redacted] on July 15th, [redacted], at 2:09 a.m. There were approximately four employees working at the time. While two of them seemed to be dancing and playing around with White Castle boxes, the young man appeared to be the only one working. It took about 15 minutes to receive my order, even though there was only one other customer ahead of me. The employees seemed to only half-listen during the ordering process, leading to mistakes like missing mozzarella sticks from our order. The White Castle burgers were soggy and seemed reheated when we finally got our food. Overall, the service was disappointing, and it makes me hesitant to return to White Castle in the future.

On Tuesday, October 8th, [redacted], around 9:40 am, I went to White Castle at [redacted] Empire Boulevard in Brooklyn, New York, using the drive-thru. I ordered a medium orange/lemonade drink and three cheeseburgers with extra pickles, no onions, or ketchup. My total came to $5.09. However, I received a medium orange soda instead of the drink I ordered, and inside the bag were two breakfast sandwiches instead of the cheeseburgers. Despite trying to call White Castle several times, I was unable to reach anyone as the call disconnected after hearing a recording. I haven't been able to return to the store and to resolve this issue, I need to receive the correct order. Unfortunately, I did not receive a receipt for my purchase.

I visited the White Castle in Eatontown, New Jersey, after work recently and was disappointed to find my order of onion rings was not filled to the top. Upon bringing this to the attention of a lady with an African-American ethnicity, wearing a black shirt labeled "family" on the back, I was met with unfriendly responses. She jokingly suggested I may have consumed some and returned, making the situation uncomfortable. She proceeded to count the onion rings out loud and remade the order with more rings, contradicting the initial quantity explanation. Her behavior, muttering to colleagues and avoiding eye contact, indicated dissatisfaction in her role, impacting the customer service experience negatively. Dissatisfied with the treatment received, I intend to visit the Howell location instead of the Eatontown one, despite residing in Belmar. The cold burgers with unmelted cheese added to the unfavorable experience. It is crucial for staff members to maintain professionalism when interacting with customers for improved service quality.

I tried calling, but irrespective, my experience at Whitecastle today was unsatisfactory. Around 1 o'clock at the Detroit, Michigan location on [redacted] Wyomi St., I waited at the intercom for about two minutes with no response. I then drove up to the window and still received no acknowledgment despite them seeing me. Eventually, a different staff member came and informed me I couldn't place an order or add-ons, even though I hadn't even ordered yet. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I felt frustrated. Having worked at Whitecastle for five years, I find this lack of service unacceptable with the new management. I want to take action, so I am considering reporting this incident. At the Eureka, MO White Castle on December 7th at 12:40 PM, the doors to the dining room were closed for about twenty minutes due to food shortages. Despite the inconvenience, I was impressed by a dedicated employee, a short woman with short hair, who worked tirelessly to serve customers and clean up. She was incredibly efficient, although I only saw one other person assisting her. It's clear that more staff is needed on busy Saturdays. I commend the hard work and dedication of this employee, and as a former café owner, I would have been thrilled to have her on my team. Thank you for listening. - Lori and Matt Eye

I made a purchase at a store with no other customers present but me. After paying for my order and discovering it was incomplete when I arrived home, I contacted the store. Unfortunately, I was placed on hold and eventually disconnected without a resolution. I was missing one slider from my order and was offered an additional slider and small fry, which I did not order. When I requested further assistance and to speak with the manager, no one returned to the call. I am looking for either the missing items from my original order or compensation for at least half of the order. I work at the eastgate location near UDF. During my recent shift, I fell ill and informed both the GM and manager that I was contagious. Despite my best efforts, I had to leave early at 8 p.m., three hours before the end of my shift. I was assigned to work on the grill, handling food, although I was visibly unwell, with customers expressing concern about my health after seeing me sick during my break. Feeling it was unsafe for me to work in such conditions, I asked to leave but was met with unsympathetic responses from the managers. They insisted I stay, even knowing I was contagious, stating that nobody calls in sick unless they are severely ill. Feeling unsupported and considering the potential health risks involved, I felt compelled to leave. It's disheartening to face such a lack of consideration for health and safety, especially after striving to be a dedicated and hard-working team member.

I visited the GreenBrook location on rt 22W and paid using my Discover card, but did not receive a receipt. The order total was $44 and included a variety of items such as cheeseburgers, hamburgers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and shakes. Despite being told everything was in the bag, two items were missing when I got home - the large chicken rings and one of the large onion rings. I tried calling the location but couldn't reach anyone, so I'm reaching out via email now. It's disappointing to have to drive 20 miles back for missing items that were meant for my grandson's lunch.

The White Castle in Fern Creek is tarnishing the reputation of White Castles. The service there is terrible. Despite repeatedly telling myself I won't return, I keep giving them another chance. The burgers are extremely disappointing, almost like small pieces of cardboard. The wait time at the drive-thru is unacceptable; even with just five cars ahead of me, it took 25 minutes to reach the window. Sometimes it takes 5 to 10 minutes just to place an order. The staff lacks friendliness and fails to uphold the White Castle standard. I have fond memories of enjoying White Castles with good customer service and cleanliness, but it seems those days are gone. Given the many burger options available, White Castle should be striving to compete better. It may be time to explore other dining options and say goodbye to the lackluster experience at this location.

Last Friday at Castles on South High Street in Columbus, Ohio, I placed an order for burgers, fries, and 2 large strawberry shakes which totaled around $20. Unfortunately, my order was missing the 2 large strawberry shakes. When I called earlier, I informed them of the missing items and mentioned that they should have recorded it in their book. The lady I spoke to challenged my claim, questioning why I didn't have a name of the person I spoke with initially. She implied I might be lying, which upset me. I reiterated that I expected the shakes to be noted in their records. In the end, she seemed dismissive of my concerns. I contacted the company to address the situation properly. I am heading back to pick up the missing shakes and hope for a smooth resolution.

I am a loyal customer of White Castle and enjoy dining there often. However, I have encountered an ongoing issue at the Shelby Township MI ([redacted]) location on 23 Mile Rd. For the past five weeks, the burgers I have received have been consistently cold. When I asked the staff to make them fresh, I was met with rudeness and excuses. Recently, I was even scolded loudly for not presenting a coupon. This treatment is unacceptable, especially considering I am a senior on a fixed income who looks forward to this weekly outing. I believe customers should not have to endure verbal abuse while simply trying to enjoy their meal. I kindly request that this matter be addressed promptly. I work at White Castle and had to call off yesterday due to my struggle with depression and anxiety. There are days when I feel suicidal and find it difficult to even get out of bed, but I still push myself to come to work. Yesterday, I had a severe anxiety attack that left me unable to move or speak clearly. I asked my husband to call work on my behalf, but when I contacted them later due to still being in a bad state, my absence was marked as unexcused. I believe it's unfair that despite my genuine health struggles, I faced consequences while others who no-call-no-show still have their jobs. The unsafe conditions during a snowstorm further compounded my stress. I feel discriminated against and request a transfer to the Springdale location if I am still employed. Living with a medical condition like mine is challenging enough without this added stress.
