I have a refrigerator under warranty and an extended warranty. In June, I noticed frost in the freezer and a representative arranged service through Appliance Solution. After a visit, they reported that the door was not reattached correctly, causing air to enter and the frost issue returned. Despite not moving the door since then, the problem persists. Appliance Solution stated that I need to contact Whirlpool for further assistance. Due to work commitments, waiting on hold for 90 minutes is challenging. I would appreciate it if a different company could assist, as I found the previous technician to be impolite. I recently purchased a Whirlpool Range in August [redacted]. After using the oven, I noticed that the door is misaligned, and I'm concerned this issue may lead to further problems. I am experiencing issues with my Whirlpool refrigerator, model WRF993FIFMOD. Both ice makers are not working. I contacted the service and they arranged an appointment with a local warranty service. Unfortunately, the service company did not show up due to a misunderstanding at the gate. Despite my efforts, I was told it would take another week for the service. The fridge stopped cooling, resulting in food loss. The required parts are delayed for 10 to 14 days, causing further inconvenience. This situation is frustrating especially during a time when I have recently lost my wife and have guests coming over. The lack of a recall system for such problems is concerning. Hello, I am from Croatia. We purchased a Whirlpool washing machine that stopped working after just a few washes. The authorized service repaired it, but the issue recurred multiple times, and they are unwilling to replace it. Each repair takes 5 to 10 days, leaving us without a washing machine for long periods since its purchase. We have sought help from various levels and discovered it's a Whirlpool issue, not the store where we bought it. We believe in Whirlpool's product guarantee and expect better service. I bought a Whirlpool stove model WOS92EC0AS02 with an extended warranty in [redacted] from Home Depot. Both the stove and the microwave are not functioning properly. The oven malfunctions every time I use the "automatic cleaning feature" leading to the display panel not working and the doors getting stuck. The service technician indicated that 3 parts need replacement: Board MRC2 Display, Assembly Control Panel, and Board MRC2 Main. Despite my efforts to maintain it, the stove has issues. I feel misled as the problems seem to be common for this model, which is advertised as "automatic self-cleaning". Additionally, the microwave has ceased working, and repairing it was deemed not cost-effective. I am highly disappointed and seeking replacement for both appliances. The service team could not provide a definite timeline for the parts' arrival, stating it might take several months, creating challenges as I have a newborn and an elderly individual dependent on hot meals. I am drafting complaints to Mr. Marc Bitzer, the Better Business Bureau, and Home Depot about my experience.

I purchased a Whirlpool slide-in electric range WH78019HZ1 with serial number R[redacted]3 at Lowes in July [redacted] to replace my 20-year-old electric range after some home renovations. I also invested in a Whirlpool microwave oven and new pots as a treat for myself after 50 years. Although I initially loved this range, I am now disappointed with its quality after just one year of use. The range top is delicate, and I have to be extremely careful not to scratch it with my pots, unlike with previous ranges I've owned. I attached photos for reference, showing how even my old pots cause scratches. I have followed the cleaning instructions diligently, but the issue persists. I recently received my order from Flipkart including a semi-automatic washing machine and a single-door refrigerator. Delivery occurred on Monday, 10/19/[redacted]. During delivery, I was informed that a technician from Whirlpool would come for installation, but no one arrived. I contacted customer support on Friday, 10/23/[redacted], raised a complaint, and was informed a technician would call back within 24 hours, but no one contacted me. Despite continuous follow-ups every 2 hours, there was no proper response. I hope for assistance to resolve this issue promptly. If not resolved, I may need to return the products due to the lack of respect and poor customer service experienced. I placed a special order for a dishwasher on 9/10/20 with a scheduled delivery date on my invoice of 10/07/20. Despite understanding that circumstances can change, it is now 10/25/20, and I was informed yesterday that the delivery is pushed to November. Every time I called, I was told it was assigned to a truck, which seemed promising, but it did not arrive on the truck that came on 10/24. I am frustrated with the lack of honest answers. I paid in good faith, expecting the dishwasher in October. If that wasn't feasible, I wish I had been informed about the delays. With holidays nearing, waiting until November is not ideal. I now prefer a refund to purchase a dishwasher promptly. I feel I should have been informed of the indefinite timeframe rather than being given false hope about the proposed date. We placed an order over the phone with one of your representatives, but unfortunately, we received the wrong parts. We promptly contacted your company to arrange a return and refund. The items arrived right before the nationwide lockdown was implemented. After numerous attempts to follow up, we were informed that due to the lockdown, the courier services were disrupted. However, we have yet to receive any updates or progress on returning the goods. Despite numerous phone calls and assurances, no courier has been sent to pick up the items as promised. We have spent a significant amount of time trying to resolve this issue, reaching out to customer service to no avail. I have been on hold for over an hour after being transferred to the Exchange Team to inquire about the status of my replacement stove. I purchased a new gas range in August but have been unable to use the oven as it was deemed non-repairable. My claim number is [redacted], filed by the Safety Team. Initially, I was informed it would take 2-3 weeks to receive a replacement by Oct 26, but when I called for an update today, they mentioned it could now take 14-21 days. I am very disappointed with Whirlpool's customer service as every time I call, I have to wait on hold for at least 30-45 minutes. Today, after speaking with the Safety Team, I was transferred to the exchange team and was left on hold for over an hour until I gave up. With the holidays approaching, it is frustrating to still not have a working oven. I own Whirlpool appliances in two homes and have been a repeat customer. Thank you, Susan C.

We purchased a Whirlpool 1.6 cubic foot microwave on 10/30/19, but unfortunately, the Start button is not working. After contacting Whirlpool customer support and speaking with Jeremy from Tennessee, he temporarily fixed the problem by resetting the circuit breaker. However, the issue recurred as soon as the call ended, leaving us unable to start the microwave again. We are requesting a replacement microwave to be sent to us so that the faulty one can be returned for analysis by Whirlpool technicians. Numerous reviews have highlighted the same issue with this model, indicating a widespread problem that needs urgent attention. It is essential for us to have a reliable microwave, especially as this is the only one that fits our existing trim kit. The extended wait times on the customer support line have added to our frustration, despite Jeremy logging the issue and having our contact information on file.

I bought a gas stove from Home Depot in Buford, Georgia on August 28, [redacted]. On October 17, I contacted Whirlpool about 5 knobs losing their imprints. After a second call on November 3, they were reordered on order #[redacted]. The representative mentioned they would arrive via FedEx in 10 workdays. As of November 28, I haven't received the knobs. This delay is frustrating for a new stove. I would appreciate it if someone could investigate why they haven't arrived.

I would like to share that I am facing challenges with my health currently. Being in a wheelchair, my microwave is essential for preparing food safely. Last December, I bought a new microwave convection oven from Whirlpool. Unfortunately, it stopped working a few weeks back. A Whirlpool certified repair person inspected it and mentioned that the necessary parts were on backorder. After reaching out to Whirlpool to either obtain the parts or have the microwave replaced, I was assured they would contact me promptly or consider replacing the unit. However, I have not received any updates and calling their customer service only leads to lengthy waits on hold. It would be greatly appreciated if Whirlpool could assist a disabled customer like myself more effectively or provide transparent information regarding their service capabilities.

My electric range was not installed correctly as the installer did not include the anti-tip bracket. Although he provided it later, I discovered my old bracket while taking out the trash. He did give me two instruction booklets. The first thing mentioned is the critical warning of the danger of potential serious injuries or fatality if the instructions are not followed. The anti-tip bracket is essential for preventing tip-overs, which can be hazardous for both children and adults. I have both the old and new anti-tip brackets and they need to be installed for safety.

I bought a Whirlpool Dishwasher WDF520PADM7 (serial # FX[redacted]) two weeks ago from Home Depot. The dishwasher isn't cleaning the silverware properly and the dishes are coming out wet even after the dry cycle. I've noticed water leaking along the sides, leading to mold and rust stains. I would like a different model that performs better without any extra charges. This current model seems to have serious issues, and I am very disappointed in its performance.

Recently, my Whirlpool refrigerator lights started malfunctioning, and some have completely stopped working. I initially got them repaired in June while still under warranty. However, just before Thanksgiving, the lights started flickering again. Currently, the top lights in the refrigerator and freezer section are not working. Although I'm no longer under warranty, it appears that the issue with these lights may be more significant than what was previously resolved or that the initial repair was not carried out effectively.

I bought a Side-by-Side Refrigerator on 11/26/17 from Home Depot along with a 3-year protection plan. When requesting service, Home Depot stated my protection plan had expired. I contacted a Whirlpool agent who mentioned the 1-year manufacturer's warranty precedes the 3-year protection plan. Upon calling Home Depot again for service, they informed me that my protection plan was expired. I also tried reaching out to Whirlpool's customer service line and have been on hold for 65 minutes. Unfortunately, I am unable to continue waiting to speak with a representative. It appears this is a recurrent issue with Whirlpool. -Michele

My new Whirlpool microwave ceased functioning after 5 weeks. I hold a Square Deal extended warranty, albeit not yet active until after Whirlpool's one-year warranty on my microwave expires. After a lengthy two-hour call with Whirlpool, I obtained ref # sr [redacted]----. Despite being assured my information was in their system and that their Product Exchange Team would contact me within two days to arrange the return of my defective microwave, it has been eight days since December first, and I have not heard from them. Numerous attempts to follow up resulted in long wait times and unhelpful responses. Disappointed with the lack of customer service, I feel frustrated about being out $[redacted] with an extended warranty that seems worthless. At this point, I am resolved to avoid purchasing any more products from Whirlpool in the future.

Hello, this is Laura Huntington. I prefer to speak over the phone, but I have been on hold all day trying to reach you with no success. Two weeks ago, your warranty department authorized a magnetron replacement under warranty for my Maytag microwave oven model number MMV4205FZ-3, serial number TR[redacted] purchased in April [redacted]. Despite the authorization, I have faced challenges scheduling service here on Cape Cod. The recommended service providers are no longer honoring warranties or are fully booked. Today, KAM Appliance was supposed to come with the part, but they didn't receive the authorization number from your end, resulting in a canceled appointment. This has been incredibly frustrating as I have been without a functioning microwave for weeks, and it's essential for my small children. I urgently need an authorization number and the part sent to the repair person promptly. KAM Appliance never received it.
