I purchased a new Whirlpool electronic control module, which was upgraded to part no. W[redacted]2 as the original part W[redacted]6A was out of stock. The new module has 8 electrical ports instead of the original 6, with two extra ports labeled GRY/BU and RED/BLK. Despite the difference in the number of ports, the new module fits perfectly in terms of installation tabs and locking tabs. I am unsure whether to proceed with the installation and leave the extra ports empty. Seeking advice on how to handle this technical issue has been challenging, and it seems only the engineers might have the necessary expertise to guide me in the right direction.

I have faced ongoing issues with my Kitchen Aid refrigerator, in which Whirlpool and their repair partner, Dan Marc Appliances, have been unable to resolve. After multiple visits and costly repairs totaling over $[redacted], the problem persists. Despite being advised that new parts would fix the sealing system problem causing frosting, the issue remains unresolved. The latest recommended part is on back order, leaving me without a working fridge. I have requested a refund for the faulty repairs but have received no response. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed after being left in this frustrating situation for several months.

In early December, I called regarding the issue with Hotpoint washers. I was advised that my model FUG 742G UK, serial number [redacted]73, should not be used until inspected due to a recall. Despite being 76 and disabled, I received recall number [redacted]8. After following up with Sonan and Simon Moore, I did not receive updates. Recently, I spoke with Abal, who mentioned our washer wasn't on the list, but I wasn't informed. It's been nearly 8 weeks without a washer, and my wife refuses to use the current one. I'm requesting a replacement or refund. If unresolved, Barclaycard will step in. Regards, J.B. Garner.

Hello, I am seeking advice regarding a significant issue I am experiencing with Whirlpool South Africa. Approximately four years ago, I purchased a Whirlpool oven model AKG659/IX/02. Recently, I found out that the selector switch has burned out and requires replacement. After reaching out to Whirlpool South Africa, I was informed that the selector switch spare part is no longer available and there is no alternative. I was shocked to hear that there is nothing they can do. I am extremely disappointed that a relatively new oven, only four years old, lacks spare parts. While I have had no previous service issues with my Whirlpool appliances on this occasion, my frustration is evident. I would like to bring this matter to your attention at the head office in the hopes of receiving assistance. The customer service in South Africa, particularly Mr. Gansen Govender, has been unhelpful and even rude. I feel let down that Whirlpool does not have backup spares for a relatively recent oven they sold me. I would be grateful if you could investigate and potentially provide me with a replacement part, a new oven, or some form of compensation for this oven, which is only four years old and already facing spare parts unavailability. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased a Whirlpool washing machine, model # WFW562OHWO ser# C[redacted]3, from Lowe's in Epping, NH. However, I experienced a lot of issues with terrible banging, clicking, and rubbing noises during the spin cycle, leading the washer to move out of place. Despite Lowe's replacing it with an identical model, the problem persisted. I eventually switched to an LG washer, which works fine. Due to the inconvenience and additional time off work for delivery, I am considering returning the dryer as well, even though we usually prefer Whirlpool appliances. This experience has been a total disaster, and we are disappointed. Contact me if you need the video of the issue. Thank you. - Corey P. [redacted]

My washing machine, purchased on 5/13/19, is not even a year old and has stopped working. Whirlpool, the repair service, diagnosed it needing a new motherboard. After waiting for the part, I was informed it would take an additional week to arrive. Unfortunately, it took even longer and now that they have the part, there are delays due to a shortage of technicians. This has left me waiting for a month without a functioning washing machine. I am disappointed with the service provided, especially since there are no technicians available in Santa Fe, NM, where I reside. Given my husband's health challenges, including Parkinson's and recent hospitalization due to sepsis, this prolonged inconvenience is particularly difficult for us. I urge for a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you. - Nene Koch

I purchased the Whirlpool Refrigerator model WMH53521HZ-3 last May. Since January, I have experienced multiple service calls due to the water dispenser dripping despite assurances it will be fixed. The design flaw with the water spout sticking out causing a continuous drip stain is unsightly and seems to be a common issue with this model. After numerous attempts to resolve this, I am now seeking a return for a more reliable product. I prefer not to have another technician attempt a fix and request advice on returning the item for a replacement or refund. I have followed the necessary steps and now insist on a resolution.

I bought my Whirlpool appliance on 6/20/[redacted], and it malfunctioned on 3/16/20. The technician who visited on 3/20/20 said the compressor, dryer, and evaporator all need replacement. They replaced the parts on 4/6/20, but on 5/1/20, it broke down again. Today, 5/7/20, the technician said the same parts need to be replaced. Whirlpool wants to keep replacing parts instead of replacing the machine, leading me to believe the fridge is a lemon. The repeated breakdowns are causing me inconvenience, especially during COVID. I'm a healthcare worker and prefer to limit outsiders in my home. I reached out to customer service today, but got transferred and disconnected. I chose Whirlpool for their reliability, but I am disappointed in the current handling. If this persists, I'd rather return the appliance and shop elsewhere. It's disheartening to feel like consumer safety is not a priority during the pandemic.

To Whirlpool, I believe it's disappointing that you are unable to produce a simple 5 cubic ft chest freezer in the USA. In this era of advanced manufacturing, it seems like a missed opportunity for American consumers. Manufacturing high-quality, American-made freezers and promoting them as not from China could attract more customers. By offering competitive pricing, you could potentially outperform foreign competitors. My recent experience ordering an Amana freezer, initially thinking it was American-made, only to realize it was made in China and facing a five-month delay, was disappointing. It's crucial for American companies to prioritize quality and consumer satisfaction to avoid losing business to overseas competitors. Please reconsider your manufacturing decisions to support American consumers. Sincerely, [Initials]

We purchased all our kitchen appliances from Whirlpool with Order #[redacted]84. First delivery was a no-show, second delivery had a damaged fridge straight from the box. Quality control seems lacking as the drivers didn't even bring it inside. We have called over 20 times but only managed to get through twice. We want a discount on the fridge so it's free and a replacement delivered without further complications. Requesting the damaged fridge WRX735SDHV to be re-delivered discounted to free at [redacted] Illinois Ave., Englewood, FL [redacted]. Contact Mary at [redacted].

Subject: Washing Machine Recall Replacement Issue Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address an issue regarding a washing machine replacement. I recently received a basic Hotpoint machine as part of a recall, despite originally owning a Hotpoint Smart machine. This swap has left me dissatisfied as I specifically chose and paid extra for the Smart model. This issue arose on 22/05/[redacted] and has left me without a suitable machine. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach any helpful staff or managers who are available to assist, which is quite frustrating. I was not informed beforehand that I would not be receiving a like-for-like replacement. I kindly request for the sent machine to be retrieved and replaced with the Hotpoint Smart machine that I initially purchased. I anticipate your prompt attention to this matter. For record-keeping purposes, I prefer correspondence through this email address. Sincerely, Tara F.

The LED lights in my freezer are not working, and the ones in the refrigerator are dim. I purchased the refrigerator in February [redacted]. I had a service appointment scheduled for Friday, May 29th, and I was informed of the estimated costs. However, I am extremely disappointed with the total amount - Parts: $[redacted].72, Service Charge: $98.00, Labor: $98.00, totaling $[redacted].02! This is unacceptable for a relatively new fridge. I've downsized to a smaller unit due to the expensive repair costs. I'm dissatisfied and refuse to buy from this company again or recommend their products. The technician suggested I contact customer service to inquire about any possible assistance with the expenses.

Service Request # [redacted] I am in need of assistance regarding the recent purchase of a Whirlpool refrigerator from Home Depot. Unfortunately, the refrigerator has not been functioning properly since I received it, resulting in the spoilage of food. As a retiree with a liver transplant and being immune suppressed, my health is at risk if exposed to COVID-19. I cannot have contact with others or contaminated surfaces, so having a service person enter my home is not an option. I reached out to Whirlpool customer service, but they have not been able to provide a suitable solution given the current pandemic situation. I have had multiple interactions with representatives, including Sholette and Kayla, who were unable to address my concerns adequately. I am seeking a refund for the faulty refrigerator as it poses a health risk to me and my wife. Your urgent attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Sir, I am an unfortunate customer who has been using Whirlpool home appliances for the past 10 years. Recently, I purchased a Whirlpool double door fridge Intellifresh with serial number [redacted][redacted] on 1/8/[redacted]. Unfortunately, on March 1st, the fridge stopped working and was not cooling. Despite reaching out to customer care and having a service technician visit three times, the issue remains unresolved due to non-availability of spare parts. I recently moved to Bangalore and lodged a fresh complaint on 21/05/[redacted]. After 6 days of follow-up, a service technician, Mr. Raghvendra, was assigned to me, but he was on leave when I contacted him today. I was directed to his manager, Mr. Siva Kumar, who was unavailable as well. I have made more than 50 calls to follow up on my complaint but have not received a resolution. I urge Whirlpool to address this matter promptly. I am disappointed with the service and hope for a swift resolution to this issue.

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Warranty Service for Whirpool Fridge From: Silvana G. Location: Skopje, North Macedonia Email: [redacted] Dear Whirlpool Corporation, I write to address an issue with my Whirlpool BLF [redacted] OX fridge, purchased in September [redacted] with a 5-year warranty from Neptun Macedonia. The fridge has stopped cooling and has a concerning noise, potentially related to water in the system. After contacting Servis Makedonija, authorized by Neptun, they identified Freon leakage but stated it’s not covered due to minor corrosion on the front door. This corrosion, which appeared in the first year and didn't impact the fridge's performance, was cited as the cause of the Freon leak. Despite my attempts to resolve this, I haven't received a satisfactory explanation. I trust in Whirlpool and seek your assistance promptly due to the urgent need for a functioning fridge, particularly amidst the current health crisis and warm weather. Regards, Ms Silvana G.

Dear Sir, I am Ganesh Kamath from Bangalore, residing at D#[redacted], Pride Enchanta, Mysore Road, Opposite to BHEL, Ranganatha Colony. In December [redacted], I purchased a Whirlpool 360Ltr double door fridge from Amazon. Although it was delivered and installed promptly, we noticed an issue with the bottom part not cooling properly. Despite multiple attempts to have a technician assess the problem, the resolution has been delayed. The technician Mr. Venugopal confirmed the need for a replacement due to a gas blockage, but I have yet to receive a new fridge as promised. Communication with both Mr. Venugopal and his supervisor Mr. Sundar Perunarkilli has been challenging, leading me to consider legal action if the matter is not resolved promptly. Kindly expedite the replacement of the fridge or I will be forced to escalate this to the Consumer Court. Thank you. Best regards, Ganesh Kamath

I ordered three freezer drawer fronts, but the wrong parts were delivered on 9/7/20. I tried calling in the afternoon but my calls were disconnected every time. On 10/7/20, I spoke with a woman who mentioned an extra charge of £12.12, which I agreed to and provided my card details over the phone. However, £51.98 was deducted from my bank account without my consent when the replacements arrived. Despite speaking with several agents, initiating three online chats, and providing my details multiple times, I have yet to receive a promised call back. If no action is taken, I will escalate this issue to bring awareness to this poor customer service. My name is Valerie Thomas, and my phone number is 01[redacted]55. The order references are [redacted] and [redacted]. I have attempted to contact them yesterday and this morning but continue to get disconnected. I do not want an email; I need to speak with a person following this unacceptable practice.

I bought my washer in September [redacted], and it has stopped working. I am still making payments on it and was informed it should be under warranty. Should I return to Lowes where I purchased it? I need a working washer and don't want to pay to speak to someone. I had a Maytag washer bought in September [redacted] that lasted years before any issues. Does this mean your products are unreliable?

I need support with fixing my father's washing machine as the error light appears halfway through the cycle, causing it to stop prematurely. After unplugging it to open the door, the clothes remain soapy and extremely wet, extending the washing time to all day or even two days. This is unacceptable, especially for a high-end brand, which should prioritize durability and reliability over profit. Expensive products like these should not constantly require repairs, and it's disappointing to see such issues persist, as evident in numerous reviews. I urge the manufacturer to address and resolve this common problem promptly as my father, who is on Social Security, cannot afford costly repairs. Please assist me in troubleshooting and resolving this issue as soon as possible to prevent further inconvenience. Thank you. - Kelli.

I purchased model number WRF535swhz02 serial number K[redacted]6 in July [redacted]. My 90-year-old neighbor, who stayed in a nursing home from Feb [redacted], had her fridge stop working. I suggested she purchase the same Whirlpool model I have. Due to COVID-19, she couldn't return until Sept. I noticed her fridge was not cooling; after checking, it was moldy inside. The fridge was not cooling, even though lights and the fan were working. I shut it off and on, but it didn't help. The warranty expired in mid-July, but I believe the compressor is covered for 5 years. I seek your understanding as the fridge was unused since March. I have the check and am getting the receipt from the store. I can provide my credit card for any repairs caused by us. This is an urgent matter given the circumstances with my elderly neighbor. Thank you, Chuck Linzey.
