The issue in GetHuman-ondusml's own words
I purchased a cabinet mount microwave model WMH****FS-* serial number TR * ** ***** **-**-**** and I already had service on it before * year because it blew the nightlight bulbs up and when I replaced it with an LED I discovered it staryed on ALL the time. As in current is always running to it. so per repairman (who did nothing) I went back to incandescent bulb and did not use this as a night light. Occassionally the fan will misteriusly turn on and requires unplugging to turn it off. This morning it started making a strange noise. I tried cancelling out but it had an F*** code. I had to unplug it to stop it. The average life of a microwave is * years. * *** years is simply unacceptable. I feel there has been a circuitry problem with this model from the beginning and expect Whirlpool to stand behind it. This was a $*** microwave, not a bargain basement model. I called the customer service number only to wait on hold for ** minutes furthering my anger. I recently purchased a new wall over which is also made by Whirlpool and now I am questioning that decision. Please have a manager contact me at ********** to discuss how whirlpool will make good on their claim to "Care for Me" and prorate a refund or provide a heafty discount on a new model.
