Recently, they also contacted my boyfriend, Walter Sandoval, at [redacted], demanding money I do not owe. Two days ago, I received a message from a +[redacted] number claiming to be from WhatsApp, alleging that someone had accused me of stealing their number and requested my verification code. I decided to ignore it. Little did I know, the same message was sent to one of my contacts who unfortunately provided their code. This led to hackers gaining access to their WhatsApp account and joining our group chat, where they saw my conversation and the code. Shortly after, my WhatsApp account was closed and banned due to a violation of their terms and conditions. I am unsure of what the hackers did to trigger the ban. I have reached out to WhatsApp support via email, but have not received any substantial response beyond the initial notification of my ban. I am uncertain whether my concerns are being addressed by a human support team or if automated responses are being used. How can I go about resolving this issue?

I need assistance getting my WhatsApp account reinstated after it was blocked for joining inappropriate groups. Unaware of the rules, I clicked on links to groups with pornographic content from the internet. I didn't stay to see any content posted. After a few hours, I found my account blocked when I checked my phone. I urgently require help with this as all my contacts are stored on that number.

I received a WhatsApp message from a school friend who said she mistakenly shared a verification code with me. As a result, I shared it back with her on Sunday. Today at 1 pm, I received the same verification code from WhatsApp, and shortly after, I received another code that led to me being logged out of my own account. Now, the app indicates that I cannot request another verification code until 10 hours have passed. This issue occurred on my Apple iPhone 11. Do I have to wait the full 12 hours to regain access to my account? Is there a way to resolve this without waiting, or do I need to change my mobile number?

This is my first ban, and it's crucial to have access because I communicate with important clients and have banking information stored in WhatsApp. Changing my number after 25 years isn't an option. I need to understand why I was banned to avoid repeating any errors. Some warning would have been appreciated instead of an immediate ban. Good day, I recently provided my details to join a WhatsApp group and shortly after, I received a call from an unknown number ([redacted]6) claiming to be from the group. They mentioned sending a code which I unknowingly shared, assuming it was related to the group. However, it turned out to be a scam. I contacted the group admin who confirmed not sending any code. My friends, family, daughter, and colleagues all contact me on this number with important information. I kindly ask for your assistance in unbanning my number. Thank you in advance for your help and support 🙏. Someone has repeatedly attempted to hack my account and has asked for WhatsApp codes. I did not provide the codes, and the person threatened to delete my account. It seems that this attack on my number was orchestrated by someone else. Please help me as I have two-step verification in place. I desperately need your assistance to unban my number." They replied with the following message: "Hi, We believe that your account activity has violated our Terms of Service, leading to the decision to keep your account banned. Due to a high number of complaints about your account, we are unable to disclose specifics to protect our users' privacy. Please note that further responses to this email will not be read."

I previously reached out via email but didn't receive helpful advice to address my issue. I've been using WhatsApp without any problems until I set up a business account. Shortly after, I began receiving notifications that my number wasn't registered on the app. This is strange because I've only ever used my mobile number for WhatsApp. Each time I update my business details, I keep getting the notification that my number is not registered. Over two weeks ago, my WhatsApp and Facebook accounts were hacked. The hacker pretended to be my nephew, claiming he needed help after allegedly having his phone stolen. Believing it was him, I followed the hacker's instructions to forward a message on Facebook. This allowed the hacker access to my accounts. The hacker then messaged my Spanish-speaking contacts, requesting $[redacted], promising to repay the next day. Recognizing the scam when the same request was made to me, I confronted the hacker who then targeted others in my contacts. I assured my acquaintances it wasn't me asking for money. Despite my efforts to alert everyone, the hacker continued contacting non-English speakers in my network. I disabled WhatsApp but haven't received the recovery email or code to regain access.
