I called a friend in Venezuela via WhatsApp (mobile phone) this morning, the phone number that appeared on his screen was not mine, therefore my name didn't show up on his screen* he didn't answer. I continued calling and eventually he answered out of curiosity to find out it was me. Shortly after that, I called another friend that lives near the first call recipient, this one immediately ans... ... I contacted a friend in Venezuela via WhatsApp this morning, instead of my name showing up on his screen, he saw phone number (***) ***-****. I looked the phone number up, it belongs - among many other numbers, to Judy Matthews here in Texas. Shortly thereafter I called a second friend in Venezuela, contrary to the first call-of-the-day, my name showed up on his screen. What could cause this?
What WhatsApp doesn't realize is that the possibility of a clone is a possibility, I have to make sure this is not the case.
