Yesterday, my Whatsapp number +[redacted]83 was banned. I suspect someone in one of my groups falsely reported my number, leading to the ban. I reached out to Whatsapp Customer Support yesterday, but the issue remains unresolved. As a practicing Supreme Court lawyer, all my client meetings and document exchanges occur through this number. With Covid, most of our virtual meetings rely on Whatsapp video calls. I kindly ask for the ban on my number to be lifted. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Recently, I advertised on Facebook with the intention of creating a new Whatsapp group in various countries including Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and several others to extend our services. I recently found out that there is a WhatsApp account pretending to be me and scamming people. I am not involved in any criminal activities as I am employed by a multinational company. I contacted the local service provider who informed me they cannot disable or block the WhatsApp account. I have already blocked the number and removed the SIM card, but I need your help to urgently block the account. By re-verifying the account, the user will be kicked out, putting a stop to any ongoing fraud. The fraudulent account is using a fake number.

I need help transferring my WhatsApp data to my new phone. My old number was [redacted], and my new number is [redacted] in Canada. After experiencing phone issues, I contacted Apple for backup assistance. Upon resetting my phone, I re-downloaded WhatsApp from the Apple Store. Initially, I entered my old number to retrieve my data but couldn't proceed without a code. Since I no longer have access to that number, I tried using my new number. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a phishing scam. Initially, a friend messaged me requesting I forward a WhatsApp business verification code. Shortly after, I received a message saying my account was no longer registered. Despite requesting a verification code, I remain locked out. Friends have mentioned receiving the same scam message supposedly from me. It appears my account is being used by hackers. I urgently need my account locked and some assistance. If your account is stolen, the process to block access from the "attacker" involves re-registering and activating two-step verification. If the attacker has set up a 6-digit PIN, you won't be able to re-register immediately. Entering the wrong PIN locks the account, leading to a one-week wait before resetting it. WhatsApp confirms there is no instant solution; you must wait. Once you regain access, it is advisable to 1) enable two-step verification and 2) sign out from other devices. Instructions for these actions can be found online. Avoid sharing your verification code to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

I am experiencing difficulties with the functionality of your app. Each time I try to update my status on WhatsApp, the app freezes and becomes extremely slow. It is causing delays in sending and receiving messages, sometimes taking up to 23 hours to send a single message. I have tried numerous troubleshooting methods including restarting my phone, toggling airplane mode, resetting network settings, reinstalling the app, changing SIM cards, and more. Interestingly, using a different number on the same phone allows the app to work correctly. I am hesitant to resort to extreme measures such as changing my phone number, switching to a different device, or losing my WhatsApp backup. Are there any other solutions you can recommend to resolve this issue?

Hello, I recently changed my phone number, but I was still using my old number on WhatsApp alongside my new number. Unfortunately, when I got a new phone because my old one broke, I couldn't verify my WhatsApp account on the new phone as the verification code was sent to my old number. This caused an issue as my main phone line number was different from my WhatsApp number. I'm worried about losing my old chats and contacts. Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for responding. Last month, I unknowingly clicked a malicious link on Facebook related to PUBG. As a result, both my PUBG and Facebook accounts were compromised. Two weeks later, I received a notification that my WhatsApp account, linked to +91 [redacted], had been banned. My WhatsApp account was hacked by someone who misused it. I noticed this when attempting to create a new account and found out my number was banned. I sent an appeal to WhatsApp and it was unbanned after some time. Hello, Around a month ago, my Samsung Galaxy S7 accidentally fell into hot tea, rendering it unusable. I was informed that it couldn't be repaired and the data was lost. My phone number, both then and now on my new phone, is +[redacted]0. However, the WhatsApp number connected to the old phone, which used an earlier SIM, was different (+[redacted]1). I want to install WhatsApp on my new phone and switch the number without losing my chats. The old phone is damaged beyond repair, as is the SIM with the WhatsApp number. Hello and good morning, My name is Asmar Eid, and my account has been stolen or hacked for the past 15 days. I have been exchanging emails with WhatsApp, but I am not receiving any helpful responses. It seems like I am only getting automated replies, and I am not getting any assistance. I have owned this phone number for years but never had two-step verification enabled, which might be how the hacker gained access. I have proof that the phone is mine through T-Mobile. The hacker keeps sending security codes via calls and SMS that I am not familiar with. I have never used WhatsApp web, lost my phone, shared QR codes, or forwarded calls to other phones. Despite informing WhatsApp that someone else is using my account to post inappropriate pictures, they say my account is active with no issues. They ask me to wait seven days to reset my two-step verification, but the options given do not allow me to do so as the hacker keeps changing the codes. I can still access my phone and number without any problems, as I have added extra security through my cellular provider. All I need is help in recovering my account. Thanks in advance.
