I wanted to book a trip to Cappadocia, Turkey for my daughter and her fiancé but fell victim to a scam. After contacting someone who claimed to help with flights and accommodations, I transferred money online for a deposit. However, I later discovered the booking was fake and lost the money. The scammer used a fake email address with an extra "c" in "skyscanner." I have reported this to my bank and have evidence of the fraudulent emails and phone numbers used in the scam. Please be cautious when booking travel online and always verify the authenticity of the websites and individuals you are dealing with. Remember to report any fraudulent activity to prevent others from facing the same situation.

Hello WhatsApp Support Team, I recently received a notification on WhatsApp asking me to verify my account due to suspected unauthorized access. However, I only use one phone with one WhatsApp account. Upon attempting to verify, I was informed that my account had been banned without a clear reason provided. I carefully reviewed the terms and policies but found no violations on my part. 1. I do not use any secondary WhatsApp applications. 2. I avoid sending unsolicited messages. 3. I do not create groups with contacts who do not have my number saved. 4. I cannot recall any previous issues with WhatsApp that would warrant a ban. I agree and will respect all of WhatsApp's terms and policies. However, it was a mistake as I have not done anything wrong on WhatsApp. I share important and useful educational messages, but some individuals incorrectly flagged or reported my account, leading to its ban. My humble request to WhatsApp is to please unban my account. This is my official WhatsApp number, and my friends, family, and clients are unable to contact me, causing a significant issue. I hope you understand my situation. Kindly unban my number and give me a chance. I assure you that I will not violate WhatsApp's terms or policies in the future. Thank you.

I recently signed up for WhatsApp and I'm concerned about the privacy of my text messages. I worry that people who I connect with through this app might have access to my regular text messages. I have many personal and important messages stored on my phone, and I want to make sure they are secure. It would be much easier to get clarification over the phone rather than typing out all this information. Can someone quickly address my concern? I want to know if my non-WhatsApp messages are at risk of being seen by those I interact with through this app without having to pay a high monthly fee.

I have emailed WhatsApp several times, but each time I receive the same message asking me to rate their customer service. I have sent at least 10 emails, and they keep asking me to rate their service without providing a solution to my problem. My WhatsApp account has been banned, and it's causing me a lot of trouble. Please, kindly unban my account or just delete it so I can switch to another app. Every time I contact them, they just ask for a review without addressing my issue. Please, either unban my account or let me know that WhatsApp cannot solve my problem. Just sending emails to rate their service isn't helping me.

I used WhatsApp from [redacted] to [redacted] with the number +[redacted]05. Upon moving to Ireland, I changed my number to +[redacted]40. When returning to India, I forgot to switch back my WhatsApp number and my phone was reset. I am now unable to receive the OTP sent to my Irish number as my phone's signal is working but not receiving messages. After numerous attempts, I received a verification code at 12 pm today, despite the phone being at home. I urgently need to access my Irish number account as a client sent an important message. My WhatsApp account has been banned by the WhatsApp customer service team. I made a mistake unknowingly from my WhatsApp account which violated WhatsApp's rules. I have sent a screenshot of my problem to the WhatsApp customer service team via email, but they have not resolved it yet. They did reply to my email saying that they will solve my problem soon. Please, sir, unban my WhatsApp account and help me.

Please be aware, the message circulating regarding WhatsApp charging users money and requiring action to avoid deletion is not true. There is no validity to the claims made in the message. Rest assured, WhatsApp will not start charging for its services, and forwarding the message is unnecessary.

I've received a message via WhatsApp claiming to be from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating the app will be offline daily from 11:30 pm to 6:00 am due to username over-usage. It asks users to forward the message to avoid deletion. The message warns of a charge of [redacted].00 for reactivation if not forwarded. It also mentions a potential charge for WhatsApp soon unless users have at least 50 contacts and forward the message. However, this seems suspicious and may not be accurate. Has anyone else received a similar message?

I am having an issue with my phone number being used by someone else for their WhatsApp account. Recently, I got a new SIM card from JIO with the mobile number +91-[redacted] for making calls. However, when one of my contacts messaged me on WhatsApp, they discovered that this number is being used by another person for their WhatsApp, causing my messages to be delivered to a stranger. This poses a security risk for WhatsApp messaging. It appears that the previous user might have registered their WhatsApp on a smartphone with the number [redacted], then stopped using it while the WhatsApp account remained active. Afterward, this number was assigned to me by the mobile company. To prevent this issue, I suggest a modification where WhatsApp can only be used with the SIM card inserted in the phone's SIM slot. I believe this change would enhance security and prevent complications arising from recycled numbers being used for messaging purposes. Thank you, S. Dutta

I believe my phone number has been previously used by someone else for WhatsApp. I recently got a new mobile number, +91-[redacted], from JIO for calls. A contact messaged me on WhatsApp but it went to the person who previously used the number. This poses a security issue as the stranger could have registered this number on WhatsApp on a different device, and although they stopped using the SIM, WhatsApp is still active. When I got the number, this issue arose. To prevent this, WhatsApp should only work when the SIM card associated with the number is in the device being used for WhatsApp. If there are other solutions, I am open to them. My WhatsApp was banned on May 31, [redacted], and since June 1st, I have sent at least 50 emails to WhatsApp, but I have only received one response asking me to rate their service. I have also emailed them at least 30 times for other customers. WhatsApp has neither unbanned nor deleted my account. I feel like WhatsApp is misusing my data. If they were not misusing it, they would have either reopened or deleted my account. They are fooling us by saying that my WhatsApp is banned when in reality, my account is being misused. Otherwise, my issue would have been resolved.

My WhatsApp account was banned on the **th of May. I have sent at least ** emails to WhatsApp since *st June, but I have only received one response asking to rate WhatsApp. I have emailed at least ** times for other customers. WhatsApp is not unbanning or deleting my account. Now I feel that WhatsApp is misusing account data. If they were not misusing it, my account would have been either reopened or deleted. They are misusing data. They are making us fools by saying your WhatsApp is banned. In reality, WhatsApp is misusing the data. If not, my issue would have been resolved.
