WD**EFRX comes in multiple flavors, they don't blend in a raid configuration. I would like all * drives to be the same vanilla, * is currently chocolate.

Get the drive RMA'd and replaced with a compatible drive in order to populate a NAS and build a raid * volume. ... I have * drives that were purchased (All the same model) WD**EFRX however * of the * drives is Nasware *.* and firmware ** the remaining * drives are Nasware *.* and firmware ** I have attempted to resolve this through newegg, and through techforless as they sold the drives. They cannot guarantee that I will get the correct version. I have asked WD tech in a previous support ticket to help bring this to a close. I am a unhappy consumer at this point and would like this drive replaced as soon as possible. I have followed up with emails and have not heard back. I want this escalated and to be called back with a resolution. I have removed all drives from the nas and taken pictures to prove they were all the versions I stated and have emailed those pictures. If there is any other supporting material that you need please contact me. It is taking a very long time to resolve. Western digital should not have named two drives with incompatible firmware the same model WD**EFRX

I've tried to go through Newegg to have it returned and replaced.
