Hello, I am Alexis Roberts and I work at Wendy’s in Springdale, Ohio, on Northland Blvd for approximately 7 months. Recently, my bank account got closed, so I opened a new one and provided my direct deposit details to my general manager, Antwan Tolbert. He assured me I would be paid on the last payday, yesterday, but I have yet to receive my payment. I have not received payment for the last 3 pay periods, causing financial strain. I am seeking assistance in determining the reason for the delay in my payment and how I can promptly receive it to cover my expenses. Thank you.

Today, I visited the Wendy's on [redacted] Wilshire and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Normally, I enjoy Wendy's and prefer it over other fast food chains. However, during my visit, I encountered an issue with one of the employees. While placing my order, everything was fine until I requested an extra BBQ sauce. The manager rudely informed me of an additional charge, slammed the BBQ sauce into my bag, and hastily closed the window to resume using his phone. Despite being willing to pay, he didn't give me the chance. Even though the store was nearly empty, the manager's behavior was extremely rude when I honked for assistance, and he seemed more focused on chatting with coworkers than helping me. In my opinion, communication is key in customer service, and as a retail worker myself, I believe the manager should lead by example. The two other ladies working there were excellent, but the manager's lack of professionalism and customer service skills were quite disappointing.

The staff displayed extreme rudeness and disorganization. A friend and I waited 35 minutes for our food while others who arrived after us left due to long wait times. Despite our patience, the drive-thru line received more attention and the staff seemed indifferent. When questioned about the wait, an employee initially ignored the concern until being asked again, then responded with a raised voice, citing the number of pending orders. As someone who works in customer service in both of my jobs, I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and courtesy exhibited during this experience.

Hello. I'm Nathan. I experienced homelessness for almost a year. I'm grateful to now be getting back on my feet. I currently reside in Bradford, Ontario, Canada, where there's a Wendy's store at the corner. I recently discovered they offer free coffee daily, a kind gesture I was unaware of when I entered intending to buy a burger. After enjoying my meal, the employee kindly offered me complimentary coffee, ensuring a fresh pot by 10 am each day. This act of kindness moved me to tears. I am thankful to Wendy's for supporting individuals in need like myself. I have since secured a job and happily pay full price for my meals. I appreciate Wendy's kindness. Warm regards, Nathan

I am disappointed with a recent experience I had with a charity promotion at Wendy's. After purchasing a key tag for charity, I expected to receive a free frosty, as advertised. However, when I went to redeem it, I was told I needed to make an additional purchase and only received a smaller size frosty instead of what was pictured. The promotion was misleading, and I wanted to share my frustration. The details of the promotion and the benefits for the charity are outlined in the article linked below, but my personal experience did not align with the expectations set by Wendy's.

My family visited the Wendy's on Baltimore Street in Hanover, PA [redacted] on November 17, [redacted], around 8:50-9:00 pm. Even though the dining room should be open until 10 p.m., when we arrived, the chairs were already on the tables, and there was no staff at the counter. We waited in the empty restaurant and eventually saw employees through a side window chatting in the back. After knocking on the door, we finally received service, which was subpar, and the food was not great. Additionally, the condiments were empty, and we had to ask for packets. Another family that arrived after us faced the same lack of attention. We have experienced issues here before but never thought to complain until now. We wanted to bring this to your attention as we did not receive a receipt to file a formal complaint. We do not seek compensation but felt it was important to share our experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I wanted to share my experience at the Wendy's Restaurant on [redacted] Leesburg Pike on November 23, [redacted], at 3:30 to 3:50 PM. I placed four separate orders, using coupons for three of them. The employee named "Devendra" helped with the coupon orders. However, after the third order, he left and another employee took my last order, resulting in missing items from my 2 for $10 Dave's Single Combo order that Devendra had handled. Despite my explanation, Devendra insisted I only ordered what I received. This caused frustration as I was missing two combos for my family. I do not fault the other workers as they seemed to do their jobs correctly, but Devendra's handling of the situation was disappointing. I had to share the existing orders among six people at home due to the missing items and lost coupon. I believe Devendra needs further training to avoid similar incidents in the future.

As an employee at one of the restaurants, I want to report an incident that occurred during my shift. I was working with my co-workers, making sandwiches as usual, and I am seventeen years old. We experienced a significant rush in both the lobby and drive-thru, and despite my requests for assistance, I was the only one manning the sandwich line. My colleagues seemed unresponsive, more interested in their phones or complaining about neck pain than lending a hand. The lack of support made it challenging to meet the demands efficiently.

The Auto Mall drive location in Sandy, UT is in need of serious improvement. Today, I was the third car in line and waited 15 minutes before reaching the front, only to be asked to wait again to place my order. After waiting an additional 5 minutes and seeing no progress, I decided to leave. I noticed that 7 cars behind me also left due to the excessively long wait. We had avoided this location for a year due to previous long waits, hoping that with time there would be new management. It seems like many potential customers are being lost due to these wait times. I ended up going to the nearby McDonald's where I got my food in under 3 minutes. Please consider sending assistance to this Chick-fil-A location, as we prefer your food but can't tolerate such lengthy delays.

On December 1st, my journey from Pennsylvania to South Carolina led me to Wendy’s at [redacted] Radford Blvd for dinner. Famished after a 10-hour drive, I opted for a grilled chicken sandwich with iceberg lettuce, tomato, a large french fry, and a bottle of water, while my husband chose a hamburger combo. Unfortunately, upon returning to our hotel, the Quality Inn nearby, the sandwich was lukewarm, and the fries were cold and soggy, despite it only being 7 PM. As someone in the food service industry, I understand the importance of serving fresh, hot food. I am disappointed by the poor quality of our meal and remain unsatisfied and hungry. It's not my habit to complain, but the lingering hunger prompted me to share my experience with Wendy's. Sincerely, April B. - F.

Dear Wendy's, I am reaching out to share my thoughts with you. I want to let you know that I am embarking on a personal challenge to avoid eating fast food for the entirety of December. Fast food has been a consistent part of my daily routine due to its enjoyable taste; however, the concern raised by my friends and family about my eating habits impacting my health has become a wakeup call. I'm curious about the addictive nature of fast food and its impact on individuals' health. Do you recognize the addictive qualities of fast food and the associated health risks? I wonder about the decision to continue selling these products despite the known negative effects on consumers' well-being. Is profit the main driver behind the sale of fast food products? Having faced weight issues at a young age due to frequenting various fast-food establishments, I now find myself carefully monitoring my food choices to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Even though Wendy's is my preferred fast food chain, managing my diet has become essential for me to prioritize my well-being. Thank you for considering my perspective. Warm regards, Daniel

On Friday, December 7, around 7 p.m., my experience at restaurant [redacted] in Pittsburgh, PA, was incredibly frustrating. I found myself as the 9th car in line at the drive-thru, waiting for almost an hour before being served. Upon reaching the window, I expressed my disappointment to a very young employee regarding the long wait. Unfortunately, instead of receiving understanding, the young employee became defensive and confrontational. She even refused to handle the situation further and had other employees take over. An elderly woman eventually assisted us and apologized for the extended wait. To make matters worse, our order was missing a drink, requiring my husband to go back into the restaurant to retrieve it. This was by far the worst fast-food experience I have encountered. The excessive wait time, the staffing at the window, and the unnecessary drama left me with many questions. As someone who has managed a customer service team for many years, it is clear that the young employees at the restaurant need better training or perhaps different employment opportunities. The service provided lacked professionalism and respect. I can't help but wonder if my experience would have been different based on my race. Irrespective of that, all customers deserve better treatment.

I visited store #[redacted] tonight and have had ongoing issues with the poor customer service and items being out of stock by 8pm. I ordered a kids' meal with a Frosty, a 4/4 deal with double stack, and a baked potato with chili. They were out of Sprite, so I received a watered-down drink. Upon returning to work and inspecting my $14 order, I found the potato was brown, burnt, cold, and old. The kids' food was also cold and old, leading to my son becoming sick. I took photos of the food. Upon returning to the store, the manager who served me appeared concerned, but I found it hard to believe given their involvement. I received a refund with little care shown. Disappointed in the service, especially since I used to work for the company. There seems to be a lack of training. I am determined to address this situation for the sake of myself and my children.

I visited the Wendy's on West Central Street in Natick, Massachusetts. The drive-thru line was incredibly long at 11:00 at night, wrapping around the building. Despite the wait, I understood it's a popular time for fast food. However, from ordering to reaching the pickup window took at least 20 minutes. Near the window, I witnessed an argument between a customer and an employee, presumably the manager, lasting around 5 minutes. When I got to the pickup window, the cashier who took my payment, a kind lady with glasses and black hair, handled herself well despite being yelled at by the manager. Unfortunately, my food was cold, leaving me disappointed and frustrated. I usually think highly of Wendy's for their quick service and hot meals. I didn't have the time to return the food, but this experience was unacceptable. I hope this issue gets addressed as nobody should endure such treatment at work, and customers shouldn't witness or receive a manager's anger. This isn't how a business should be managed.

Hello, I am very disappointed with the service I received at the [redacted] location in Bolingbrook, IL. First, my sister had a cold meal, and the manager was rude to her on the phone. He only offered a free meal after seeing the issue in person. When I ordered, my Frosty and Spicy Chicken Go Wrap were missing. The manager was dismissive over the phone and also in person during our revisit, providing no apology or explanation for the error. The employee at the register was unprofessional, looking me up and down and ignoring me. The manager displayed poor management skills by wearing flip flops while working around 8pm. None of the employees wore name tags, making it difficult to address them properly. I hope this issue can be resolved as this experience was unacceptable. Thank you.

Good afternoon/night, I’m Javier. Today, I visited the drive-thru and experienced a 10-minute wait. The lady at the window seemed unfriendly when I tried to cancel one of my two Maple Chicken Sandwich orders. The manager, Jimena, also gave me a bad reaction. When I got home, I realized my order was missing two honey barbecue dips and maple sauce. When I returned to Wendy’s, there was an 8-minute wait with no one at the front counter. Lea, the cashier, seemed uninterested in helping. I eventually asked for the manager’s name. This experience was disappointing, and I hope you can improve your customer service to prevent losing business in the future.

During my visit to your location on [redacted] Charlestown Road in New Albany, Indiana, I experienced some concerns with the service and cleanliness. The cashier was unkempt and seemed to lack basic hygiene, handling food without washing his hands properly. The dining area was in poor condition with dirty tables, trash on the floor, and moldy spills near the drink machine. Furthermore, the presence of fruit flies was quite off-putting. These observations made me question the declining quality of the food and service. If I were the owner, I would appreciate being informed about these issues to ensure improvements are made to maintain the establishment's reputation and customer satisfaction.

I recently went to Wendy's on Rainier Ave South with my girlfriend, one of our favorite fast food spots in Renton due to the typically hot and fresh food. On 12/24/[redacted] after 4 pm, I ordered a small spicy chicken sandwich meal with a coke and an extra spicy chicken sandwich. The cashier took my $16, gave me correct change, and handed me the overfilled coke, causing spillage in my cup holder. I didn't receive a receipt with my change, which was unusual. Another person approached for payment, although I had already paid. I was eventually given my food but noticed the missing straw while driving south. The fries were fresh but both spicy chicken sandwiches were hard, dry, and made long before I ordered. They were inedible, disappointing my craving. I am so let down that I might avoid Wendy's for a while and check out other food options. Sincerely, Daryn Hayner.

Recently, the Wendy's near me underwent a renovation and launched a promotion offering free food for a year to the first 50 customers in line. Eager to participate, I arrived early at 8 a.m., only to find a line had already formed, with some customers even camping out overnight. As we waited for the doors to open at 10 a.m., the manager came out to explain the promotion's limitations - it excluded premium items like the Dave's Double and Baconator, and only allowed for one free sandwich or salad per visit, with a required purchase. After receiving my coupon, I was disappointed by the restrictions when I tried to order the maple bacon sandwich and was charged extra for it without prior notice. Subsequent visits led to similar issues where I was charged extra for a special sandwich that naturally included bacon, while being allowed to order other bacon-containing items at no extra cost. This treatment left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a loyal customer who had waited patiently in long lines for this promotion, especially considering the waiting time and frequent order inaccuracies at Wendy's. I am unsure how Wendy's addresses such concerns, but I hope they can rectify these discrepancies, as I had high hopes for this promotion that ultimately left me unsatisfied with the overall experience.

I visited a Wendy's in Bowie, MD, at 2:30 pm. After receiving my food, I went to the condiment bar, but there were no napkins, salt, or ketchup. When I politely asked for salt and a napkin at the counter, I was rudely told there was none. Despite this, a young girl behind the counter had napkins and even found some salt for me. She was the only one who seemed to care about her job. The manager should address the rude behavior of the other two counter girls, who had unhelpful attitudes. One of them had blonde hair and glasses, while the others were African-American. As someone in the service industry for over three decades, I believe Wendy's Corporate should intervene and address the management and staff at this location before I consider returning. Regards, Charles E. Choux
