The issue in GetHuman-azsunset's own words
We paid a $** payment on our credit card statement which was due on ********. We mailed it on Friday afternoon, *********, but apparently the post office did not postmark it until the next day on Saturday, *********. We don't know what day Wells Fargo received it but it did not go through our checking account until *********. This caused a late fee of $**.** on our statement.*We have excellent credit ratings and never have had to pay a late fee before (been married ** years!) and don't want this fee to show up against our credit rating. I would call you directly but can barely hear on the phone any more because of loss of most of my hearing - and my husband is sick with some kind of virus - as he usually handles any calls on the phone. Would you please be able to cancel this charge of $** before our next payment is due? We would appreciate your help on this matter. Thank you - Irene and George W. Lehman, Jr.
