I am seeking assistance with my current WeChat issue. After deleting my old WeChat account associated with my phone number, I have created a new account. I am trying to link my phone number to this new account, but I receive a message stating that my phone number is linked to another WeChat ID, preventing me from linking it to my current account. Despite deleting the old account, my phone number remains associated with it. I am eager to link my phone number to the current WeChat account I am using and would greatly appreciate any help with this matter. Thank you.

I understand that I can reset my password with a bank card, but since my bank from the United States is not supported by WeChat, I recently obtained a Chinese bank card. When I tried to use it to reset my password, I was prompted to use a foreign card instead. I am eager to regain access to my WeChat Wallet to transfer the funds I have in my account. I am willing to provide any required information for identity verification, but the platform does not offer me this option, causing my frustration.

A friend informed me that they found my WeChat ID name and added me as a contact even though I didn't want it visible. This occurred after my WeChat profile was deleted some time ago. Hello, I recently received a suspension on my account due to "SUSPIC ACCESS" based on anomalous access, the use of an unofficial or outdated application version, and third-party plug-ins. I have been asked to independently unlock my account by providing a contact number, but I don't have another contact except for my own. I need assistance with unlocking my account as I have downloaded the official latest version and requested a password retrieval, but I am unable to proceed due to the contact requirement. Hello, I received a suspension penalty on my account for "SU**** ACCESS" due to various reasons, including anomalous access, use of unofficial or non-updated versions of the application, and third-party plug-ins. I am unable to unlock my account independently because it requires providing another contact number which I do not have access to as I don't have friends, only my own contact. I have downloaded the official and latest version of the app and requested a password reset. When trying to enter using the password received via SMS, I am directed to the page for autonomous release which I cannot complete due to my situation. My wife and I are struggling with the WeChat app's sign-in process. We are in the midst of a surrogacy journey and need the app to communicate with potential parents. We are unable to move past the security check that requires account verification. We have tried using different phone numbers and an Android device, but the app still won't allow us to proceed without someone scanning a code for us. Hi, I have a query about my phone's internal memory. I noticed a folder named TENCENT with a subfolder MicroMsg containing various folders with long random names like a1b9e59e2fce...afaffb7497. Inside the "avatar" folder, I found User pictures from WeChat. I am unsure why these pictures are there. Does the system back them up every time I chat with someone? Do these pictures get saved randomly as part of the WeChat system backup? Also, could you clarify if the file dates such as 28 Feb refer to the year [redacted]? I apologize for the multiple questions; I am concerned someone accessed my account as I don't recall chatting with some of these users. Thank you.

Hello, I have been penalized with a block on my account for the following reasons: 1) Anomalous access 2) Use of an unofficial or outdated version of the application 3) Use of third-party plugins I am given the option to unlock my account independently. However, I am required to enter another WeChat contact number which I do not possess because I don't have any friends; I only have my own contact. I have downloaded the official and most recent version, tried to log in with my password and phone number, but I can't get in because it does not recognize the two combinations (phone number/password). When I attempt to enter the code sent to me via SMS, I am directed to the page for autonomous unlock, but I cannot do it as I don't have friends' contacts to help me. What should I do? How could I have ended up blocked for reasons unknown to me? Please help!

My father had a WeChat account linked to the number [redacted]. I unintentionally attached my account to the same number, resulting in his account being deleted. After changing my number to [redacted], he is still unable to access his account because he does not remember his password and the email recovery option is not working. His username is YyyYangcFeng, and mine is Leeannxfeng. While my account is fine, we desperately need assistance to regain access to his account or link it to the original number [redacted]. Hello, I am Cyril Wayne. I am encountering issues with my WeChat account. Whenever I attempt to use WeChat Pay or transfer money, error messages like “Account protection enabled for compromised content” and “Account protection enabled due to suspicious account activities” appear. Even though I can still chat, I need to resolve this problem quickly and retrieve my money. I have attempted several unblocking procedures, reinstalled the app, and tried to restore my account, but none have been successful. I want to bring to light the misuse of WeChat's reporting function, which has unjustly led to the suspension and spreading of false rumors about a female teacher in Suzhou. Despite speaking out against this behavior without naming individuals, I found myself suspended three times within a month, losing my account and over [redacted] contacts. I have tried reaching out to WeChat and Tencent for assistance to no avail. I have been a loyal WeChat user for 8 years and hold a responsible position as a Scientist at China's largest Contract Research Organization. I aim to appeal my suspension and urge Tencent to address vulnerabilities in their reporting system to prevent abuse. A few months ago, I linked my Bulgarian bank card to my WeChat wallet to receive red packets while working in Bulgaria. However, I mistakenly used a random Chinese bank from the list while entering my Bulgarian card details and set a random password. Now, I'm in China and unable to link my Chinese bank card or reset my password because the non-existent bank doesn’t approve the transaction. I need assistance recovering my inactive account. Despite multiple attempts, I did not receive verification codes on my phone. After finally entering a code, I was informed I needed someone else to assist in the verification due to multiple failed attempts. Despite asking others for help, I have not been successful. I am unable to access my account even after several verification attempts. Additionally, I am unable to recall my password. How can I proceed to regain access to my account?

I have a Chinese lady friend that I met on Asiandate.com, and I have spent a lot of money trying to communicate with her to arrange to meet and get married. There always seems to be a problem preventing us from sharing our contact information. I even opened a WeChat chat room and provided my username (Robert01) and photo, but she still cannot find me on WeChat. I am unable to share my real user ID because the agency blocks any attempts to reach her through WeChat. They keep blocking us from sharing even a phone number, so I have to keep spending credits to try to communicate. Could you please help me locate my friends Jiang Bo Want, Zhuoma Ciren, and Hong Yue? I signed up with my mobile number (+[redacted]32) in WeChat with the user ID: jessica__04 yesterday while using a Samsung J7 from the Play Store. Today, I received a notification that my account is blocked due to using an unofficial version of WeChat or an unauthorized plug-in. The message advises deleting any unofficial versions or unauthorized plug-ins and downloading the official WeChat from either the iOS App Store or Google Play to request an unblock. I'm concerned as there is only one WeChat application available on the Play Store, so I would like guidance on how to spot an unofficial version. I urgently require assistance to unblock my account. I am currently facing an issue with my WeChat account. It is currently connected to an old Hong Kong phone number that I no longer use. The SIM card for this number will soon be deactivated and recycled. When I try to update my phone number in the Security Settings to my new mainland China number, I receive an error message stating that "this number cannot be linked due to local regulations." Strangely, my account had no trouble being linked to a mainland China number before. I have already attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app with no success. My girlfriend, who shares similar phone numbers, has been able to change hers without any problems, indicating that the issue lies elsewhere. Dear sirs, I am seeking urgent advice as I am confused about the current situation. In [redacted], I installed WeChat using the ID wxid_qht77kzr84lg22 when I moved from Belarus to China for a period of 4 years. I linked my WeChat account with the Chinese phone number [redacted][redacted] and added my Belarusian visa to access the WeChat wallet feature, although I was unable to top up or withdraw the funds. Recently, my account was flagged as compromised, and I received a notification from the WeChat team that my wallet transactions were frozen.
