My WeChat password stopped working after my bank put a hold on my account because I reported an error in my passport information. Later, my password didn't work, so my Chinese friend asked customer service to remove that bank card, and change my name so that it would match the name registered with my bank. My new Chinese bank clerk then tried to help me add my new Chinese card, and though we added everything identically to the information on file, we couldn't add a new bank card. I have money in WeChat I would like to use, but my password still doesn't work. I want to receive a temporary password that will allow me to withdraw my money from WeChat.
