I am Margaret H., a previous member of the WSC at the South Bethesda location in Maryland. I am seeking assistance regarding billing matters at WSC. I have been receiving harassing emails from Cozette J. at the South Bethesda branch. Despite former manager Brian G. confirming my cancellation in April [redacted], I have been continuously charged by the club. Present manager Patrick R. has been unhelpful, stating I should have followed up. I believe it is not my responsibility to ensure my membership cancellation. I request to communicate with someone from the corporate office to resolve this, obtain a refund, and validate the completion of my membership cancellation. The process has been distressing, and I have encountered unsatisfactory customer service at this location.

Due to medical reasons, my account was frozen for a period of time. At the end of September, I visited the Columbia Heights club, waited for an hour and a half, and spoke with a manager named Kev (apologies if I got the name wrong). He assured me he would cancel my membership and send me a confirmation email. However, unauthorized charges have been appearing on my account since then. I've had multiple negative encounters with this manager, who appears to make promises without following through. Despite my requests for a freeze due to medical issues, my account was still charged as if I were actively using the club. After these experiences, I have decided to terminate my membership. When I informed the manager, he repeated his promise to cancel and email confirmation. It wasn't just the cancellation that didn't happen but also the unauthorized charges that continued. I have come across reports online from WSC members facing similar issues with deceptive practices regarding charges and fees. I trust that someone from a higher level will address this situation promptly to avoid legal complications.

I recently unfroze my account for $15. I was informed that I could change my membership from the home gym at Downtown, Connecticut Ave to the Columbia Heights location. The membership fee for Columbia Heights is $40 per month. I was promised a pro-rated amount due to being overcharged $80 per month for the past two years. Despite the understanding that I wouldn't be charged going forward, I was billed $[redacted].11 on October 2nd. I believe this charge is incorrect. I am requesting a refund for the overcharge and to be billed correctly at $40 per month. If this cannot be resolved, I would like my account cancelled immediately. You may find my account under my email address: [redacted] Thank you, J. Filson

I need to cancel my monthly membership with the Georgetown Washington Sports Club as I prefer not to transfer to the Glover Park WSC. Please ensure my credit card ending in #[redacted] is not charged in the future. My name is Tomi Caplan. Please cancel my membership promptly. I appreciate the past experiences at Georgetown WSC and I am disappointed that it will be closing permanently.
