Re order ***********Re Product Royal sovereign dehumidifier SR******S**Model RDH-****Although I don't expect to receive satisfaction (based on experience so far), I do feel I owe you the courtesy of explaining why I will refrain from purchasing any major items from Walmart. The product offered on line is of poor quality and the protection offered by your company is to me unsatisfactory. I purchased the above product Aug ** and just over ** days after receiving it the EH code appeared(humidity sensor error) and the appliance shut down. When I contacted the company the customer rep I spoke to grilled me regarding damage on my part (it was not damaged and all instructions had been followed). The only option given was to fill out the repair form emailed to me in which I had to sign to be responsible for shipping costs both ways and accept responsibility for any damage declared from the shipping process. This left the option open to the company to declare shipping damage and negate the warranty. It required me ( a senior living on my own) to package and transport a heavy appliance. I asked for an alternative such as a local authorized service centre or a way to reset the error. I also asked customer service at my local Walmart for the option to returning it there but was denied. If I had followed my usual practice (which I will in future) of purchasing from Bed Bath and Beyond they would have taken it back and given me a refund or a replacement for up to a year on corded products and life time on all other products. I decided to give Walmart a chance and was disappointed with the quality of the product and the lack of customer support. Ruth Delaney ***-***-****
